Suddenly on Saturday July 10, 2004. In his 57th year. Willy, beloved father of Jeff, Krista and Marc. Remembered by Karen. Survived by many friends and family members both in Switzerland and North America. A service to celebrate his life will be held at the Udora Community Hall (24 Victoria Road, Udora) on Friday July 16, 2004 from 2-4 P.M.

SPRATT, Royal Vernon -
Passed away July 10th, 2004 in Westlock Alberta, at the age of 85, where he had been residing for 35 years. Born in Trenton, and resided in Oshawa for many years, Royal was a WWII veteran and a General motors retiree. He is survived by his three children. Burial ceremony will be held August 9th, 2009 at 11:00am at Union Cemetery, Oshawa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

ARMSTRONG, Jeffrey Stephen (Jeff) -
Suddenly passed away early Friday, July 9th, 2004, at the age of 38. Beloved husband and best friend of Amanda (nee Pollard). Cherished and devoted father of Austin, Braedan, and a child-to-be. Treasured son of Gerald and Jacquie (nee Short). Dearly loved brother of Jerry and Patti, Paul and Leta, and Dayle and Doug Ross. A very special uncle to Ryan, Jarrod, Erin, Mark, Bradley, Wesley, Dayna, Andrea, Stephanie, Jordan, Victoria and Alexis. Much loved son-in-law of Mel and Julie Pollard. Dear brother-in-law of Tracey and Scott Arseneau. Will be forever adored by Gram Gegeny, and best friend Dan Goldsmith. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church, Randall Drive, Ajax (Pickering Village). Cremation. In lieu of flowers, Jeff's family would appreciate donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Children's Wish Foundation.

BOYD, Andrew "Andy" -
Passed away Friday July 9, 2004. Andy's wishes were a private family service followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, 1730 McPherson Court, Unit 30, Pickering, Ont., L1W 3E6 would be appreciated.

In her 76th year, June passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on July 9, 2004 after a brief battle with cancer. Dearest Mother of James(Frances), Grandmother to Alexander, Tammy and Paul, Wife of Frank G., Sister of Pamela Daniels (Peter) of the U.K., cherished friend of Peggy Hopkinson (Barry) and Margaret Birch, fondly remembered by all those who's life she touched. At June's request, cremation and private interment will be held. Donations to Lakeridge Health Oshawa Palliative Care in June's name would be greatly appreciated.

The Lord called unto Himself at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday July 9, 2004, age 62 years. (Retired Special Ed Teacher for 35 years in the Durham Board of Education). Beloved husband of Carol (nee Murrell). Beloved son of George & Grace Kollaard of Whitby. Dear father of Bill & his wife Sharon; Jeff & his wife Shari; Mike & his wife Jennifer; Dan and Tom & his wife Jessica. Cherished Grampa of Shawn, Benjamin, Meghann, Jelissa, Rebecca, Rheanna, Alicia, Morgan, and Jordan. Dear brother of Lloyd & Mary Kollaard, Mike & Gail Kollaard, Betty & Mario Pilozzi and Robert Kollaard. Funeral Service will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, Bowmanville at 11 am on Monday July 12th. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donation may be made to the C.R.W.R.C. or the Rehoboth Church Plant.

Loving brother of Kyle and Dillan. Dear grandson of Elinor Ellis and the late Don Ellis, and the late Michael and Theresa Hlozan. Dear nephew of Brian (Joanne) Hlozan, Ron (Lois) Ellis, and Ernie (Valerie) Ellis. Tyler will be sadly missed by his cousins, family, his many friends and his dog Sophie and his cat Melvin. KENNEDY, Linda Gail Patricia (Jones) -
September 20th, 1944 – July 8th, 2004. At the tender age of 59 after a courageous battle with cancer, Linda has finally found the peace and serenity she deserves. She left us at 1:35 P.M. on Thursday, July 8th, 2004, peacefully and in her “own way” at home surrounded by her loving family. Linda was the 10th of 11 children born to the late Joseph and Violet Jones. Predeceased by her oldest brother Jack, her sister Shirley and her brother David. Survived by sister Barbara, brothers Joseph, Duke, Frank, Jim, Fred and Stan. She will be sadly missed by many friends and extended families. Most of all missed dearly by her partner of 20 years, her husband Alexander (Al). A void will be left in the hearts of her 4 children, Mark and his wife Cynthia, Derek, Marika and her husband John and Ronnie and his wife Bridget. Forever and ever will be treasured by her grandchildren who were inspired by her, Tinika, Tanner, Kylee, Joey, Anika, Brodie and Mackenzie. Sharon (nee Sinclair), dearly loved wife of Alex Leask of Prince Albert. Loved mother of Wendy and her husband Mark Flagler of Omemee, and Craig Leask and his fiancée Jennifer Rizzo of Port Perry. Loving grandmother of Ashley. Beloved daughter of Mary and the late Lester Sinclair of Peterborough. Dear sister of David, Arlene, Adrienne, Marilyn, Gary and Raymond. The family of Sharon Leask will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Sunday, July 11th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 12th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Patrick Long officiating. Loving daughter of Bernice (nee Hamilton) and her husband the late Orval Francis and dear daughter-in-law of Rita and Henry Sears. Dear sister of Bob and Bev of Bobcaygeon, Bill and Carol of Long Beach. Sadly missed by extended members of the Francis and Sears families.
