Passed away at Lakeridge Health Centre on December 13, 2003, at the age of 52. 'Jackie', loved son of Margaret and the late John Lonsdale. Dear brother of Carol and David Robson, Bev and Ron Whitbread. Will be missed by nieces and nephews Kristin (Steve), Julie, Kent, Becky (Chris), Stephen (Sarah), Michelle and Carrie. The family extends thanks to the staff and doctors of the ICU, Palliative Care and 8th floor nurses, Lakeridge Health Centre - Oshawa, for their genuine care, concern and support. A private Memorial Service was held Friday, December 19, 2003. Spring interment. On Saturday, December 13, 2003, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa, in her 88th year. After 61 years of marriage Irene is now reunited with her loving husband, Robert George Masters, who died six weeks before her (October 30, 2003). Loving mother of Barbara and her late husband Rolf Johansen, Joan Masters, Donald and his wife Mary, and Ronald, all of Oshawa. Dearest grandmother of Chris, Karen and her husband Gary, Tonya, Amanda and great-grandmother of Dallyn, Darcy, Mariena, Lindsay and Garett. Sister of Amy McLachlan of Etobicoke, Fred Esson and his wife Vera of Tillsonburg and the late Lorraine Burt. Relatives and friends were received at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service was held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby. MORRISON, Albert L. -
Musician and member of Emmanuel Praise and Worship Centre in Ajax. A Gem, passed away on Saturday December 13, 2003 at the Toronto General Hospital. Albert, at the age of 43, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sadly missed and remembered by his children, family, Sis. Gloria, church family and all his friends. Albert will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He has touched many lives. We love you. 79, of Turo, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully on December 13, 2003. David served overseas in the Second World War and after the war lived in Oshawa, Ontario and drove buses for Oshawa Transit until his retirement. Survived by his wife Florence 'Flo" Young, stepdaughter Sharron Byers (Ken), sister Bernice DeFour, predeceased by brother Frank Young and sisters Emily McCann and Enid Mintz. Loved by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26 conducted a tribute service for Dave on Wednesday December 17 in Truro.
