Constance M. Williams
Funeral services for Constance M. Williams, 27, of Suisun will be 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 601 Whispering Bay Lane, Suisun City.
The Rev. Claybon Lea will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Memorial Park, 1901 Union Ave., Fairfield.
Born Jan. 26, 1970, in Demopolis, Ala., Ms. Williams died Aug. 10, 1997, in Stockton.
A resident of Suisun for 21 years, Ms. Williams was a homemaker for the past seven years.
She is survived by her parents, Hilry and Emma of Suisun City; son, Derico Sanders of Germantown, Md.; daughter, Adrian Marie Kidd of Suisun City; sister, Mary Helen of Demopolis, Ala.; brothers, Hilry Jo of Los Angeles and Kelvin Brown and Keith Bernard, both of Suisun City; maternal grandmother, Isabella Brown of Fairfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Arrangements are handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Lloyd James 'Jim' Allen
Funeral services for Lloyd James "Jim" Allen, 64, were held Sunday in Bowling Green, Ky.
Born June 19, 1933, Mr. Allen died Aug. 7, 1997, at his home in Bowling Green, Ky., after an illness.
Burial will be in the Springfield City Cemetery
in Springfield, S.D.
Mr. Allen was a teacher in the Vacaville Unified School District.
He taught in local schools from 1965 to 1967 and from 1969 to 1970. He was an educational specialist for the Warren County School System in Bowling Green, Ky., where he taught science and coached football and basketball for Alvaton and Jones Jaggers elementary schools.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Dr. Connie Irish Allen of Bowling Green; son, Eric James Allen of Whitehouse, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Vaughn Funeral Home in Bowling Green, Ky.
Patricia Jewell Bagley
A party will be given instead of formal funeral services for Patricia Jewell Bagley, 70, of Vacaville.
Relatives said she requested the party in her memory.
Inurnment will be private.
Born Sept. 24, 1926, in Indiana, she died Aug. 8, 1997, in her Vacaville home after a short illness.
She lived in Vacaville 67 years and worked for Basic Vegetable for 20 years.
She was described as a real "people person" and enjoyed many friends.
Mrs. Bagley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Vicki of Vacaville; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Gene Winston; daughter, Marge Semminoff of Windsor; mother, Mimi Ferenz of Windsor; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Miguel H. Diaz
Private funeral services for Miguel H. Diaz, 91, of Fairfield will be held today and fun. home isn't saying where.
Private burial will be in the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.
Born Jan. 30, 1906, in Jalisco, Mexico, he died Aug. 10, 1997, in Fairfield after a long illness.
Mr. Diaz lived in Fairfield for 54 years. He had been a custodian for the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District for 25 years.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and enjoyed sports and gardening.
Mr. Diaz is survived by sons, Michael of Novato, Ed of San Mateo and Louis of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lupe, and daughter, Emma Owensby.
Trevor Thomas Strauss
No formal funeral services will be held for Trevor Thomas Strauss, who died at birth Aug. 12, 1997, in NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield.
Inurnment will be private.
The infant is survived by his parents, Levi Andrew Strauss and Karen Malinda Himes of Vacaville; maternal grandmother, Saundra F. Sears of Vacaville; paternal grandmother, Cathrine according to funeral home Strauss of Scottsbluff, Neb.; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Kenneth Graham Albers
Memorial services are pending in Bluffs, Ill., for Kenneth Graham Albers, 72, of Vacaville.
Mr. Albers died July 22, 1997. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from American Home Foods, now International Home Foods, of Vacaville.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Pile; daughter, Penny Sue McDonell; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; stepchildren, Janet Sweezer and Randy Pile, all of California; brothers, William of Vacaville and Sherel of Rochelle, Ill.; sisters, Marcella Lawrence and Connie Brockhouse, both of Bluffs, Ill., and June Albers of Hardin, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Georgia Albers; brothers, Myron "Buck," Paul Lawrence "Joe," and infant brother Robert Lee.
Peter Doyle
Funeral services for Peter Doyle, 83, of Suisun will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
Pastor Michael Lyons of Mustard Seed Christian Life Center will officiate. Inurnment will be private.
Born May 14, 1914, in Livingston, Texas, Mr. Doyle died Aug. 12, 1997, at NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield after a short illness.
He resided in Suisun for seven years. He worked as a self-employed landscaper in Houston for more than 35 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Mustard Seed Christian Life Center.
Mr. Doyle is survived by his wife, Yearly of Houston; daughter, Adriane Knox of Suisun City; son, Avery of Snellville, Ga.; grandchildren, Shundolyn Williams of Hawaii, Larry Knox Jr. of Suisun City, Akeem and Raven of Snellville, Ga., and Chiniqua of Houston; and great-granddaughter, Paris Williams of Hawaii.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St. in Fairfield.
Virginia Edessia Moore
A memorial service for Virginia Edessia Moore, 81, of Dixon will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ in Dixon.
Dan Williams will preside. Inurnment will be private.
Born Dec. 9, 1915, in Oklahoma, Mrs. Moore died Aug. 8, 1997, in Davis.
She has lived in the area for 14 years. She worked as a waitress for the Davis Coffee Shop for 30 years, and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Moore enjoyed crocheting and loved cats.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Ruth Riggs of Davis and Ann Burr of Dixon; sister, Audrey Schaffer of Texas; grandchildren, Donna Yvonne Smith of Davis, Jim Ray Sanders of Woodland, Danyielle Rene Harmon of Davis, and Deanna and Tammy Moore of Sacramento; and seven great-grandchildren.

Jose Vasquez IV
A Mass of the Resurrection will be recited for Jose Vasquez IV, 18 months, of Vacaville at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vacaville.
The Rev. Jude Ezeji of St. Mary's Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
Born Jan. 22, 1996, in Fairfield, he died Aug. 12, 1997, in Oakland after an accidental drowning.
Young Vasquez is survived by his parents, Jose Vasquez III and Leticia Vigil, both of Vacaville; sister, Nikole Vigil of Vacaville; paternal grandparents, Jose and Irma Vasquez II of Vacaville; maternal grandparents, Ron and Edna Vigil of Vacaville; great-grandparents, Estelle Yanez of Los Angeles, and Ron and Vicki Vigil of Vacaville; great-great-grandparents, Micky Yanez and Conception Ramos, both of Los Angeles; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with rosary being recited at 7 p.m., in McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St. in Vacaville.
James 'Mel' Ruth Sr.
Graveside services for James "Mel" Ruth Sr., 96, of Vacaville will be 2 p.m. Monday in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road in Vacaville.
Members of the Odd Fellows Lodge will officiate.
Born Nov. 25, 1900, in Madera, Mr. Ruth died Aug. 14, 1997, in VacaValley Hospital in Vacaville after a brief illness.
Mr. Ruth had resided in Vacaville since 1946. He was a turkey farmer for numerous years. He enjoyed discussing politics and farming.
He was also a member of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 83, Farm Bureau, and the Rebekah Lodge No. 80.
Mr. Ruth is survived by his wife of 73 years, Ann; son and daughter-in-law, James Melvin Ruth Jr. and Theresa of Vacaville; daughter, Beverly J. Day of Vacaville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St. in Vacaville.
Richard B. Wilke
Memorial services for Richard B. Wilke, 67, of Fairfield will be 11 a.m. today in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Born Jan. 13, 1930, in Chicago Heights, Ill., he died Aug. 12, 1997, in Fairfield.
A 23-year Fairfield resident, he worked as a flight engineer for the Air Force for 26 years. He also loved baseball, reading and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Ola; daughters, Leah of Vacaville and Jennifer Berry of Lodi; and grandchildren, Margaret and Catherine Berry.
John William Gearhart
Funeral services for John William Gearhart, 39, formerly of Vacaville, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Old Camp Five at Davis Lake, north of Portola. Burial will be private.
Born Aug. 11, 1958, in San Francisco, Mr. Gearhart died Aug. 13, 1997, in Portola.
Mr. Gearhart lived in Portola for three years. He worked as service technician for Nevada Bell and was employed by Pacific Bell, working in the Oakland area while he lived in Vacaville.
Mr. Gearhart was a Marine Corps veteran, serving from 1976 to 1980, when he was discharged as a corporal. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
Mr. Gearhart is survived by his wife, Sally of Portola; daughter, Jessica of Portola; sons, Daniel and Robert, both of Portola; brothers, Earnie and Lawrence, both of Pacifica; sister, Debbie of Pacifica; parents, Robert and Willa of Pacifica; sister Sheila of San Diego; and grandmother, Lenore of Vacaville.
