Harold Huffman
Harold A. Huffman, 68, died Tuesday, June 19, of Multiple Myleloma at his home of 33 years in Foster City.
Mr. Huffman attended Vallejo schools through Junior College. He was a science teacher and an athletic coach in Lancaster for eight years, and retired from Aragon High School in San Mateo in 1990 after 24 years of service. He enjoyed hiking the Sierras, scuba diving and reading.
Survivors include his wife, Kay (Stoffel); daughter, SueAnn (Danny) Schoeler; sons, William (fiancˇ, Marta) and Rob Huffman, and Larry Hanson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
At his request there will be no public memorial service.
Loretta Lee
(July 20, 1948 -- Dec. 6, 2001)
Loretta Lee, 53, died Thursday at home after a short illness.
Mrs. Lee was born in Oklahoma, and was a Vallejo resident for 36 years. She was a psych tech at Napa State Hospital for three years, and was a member of Old Path Church of God In Christ.
Survivors are spouse, Larry of Vallejo; daughter, Tina Freeman of Vallejo; sons, Charles and John Freeman, Leon (Quincy) Perkins, and Thomas (Kathryn) Walker, all of Vallejo; parents, Ernest and Thelma Freeman of Vallejo; sisters, Earnestine Dennis, Blanche Freeman and Carolyn Stanford, all of Vallejo; brothers, James Dickerson, and Ernest and Harrison Freeman, all of Vallejo and seven grandchildren.
Vistation from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with quiet hour at 7 p.m., both Wednesday at Colonial Chapels, Vallejo. Service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Old Path Church of God in Christ, Vallejo, with Elder Harold Johnson officiating. Burial in Sunrise Memorial Cemetery.
Frances Seely
Oct. 20, 1925 -- Sept. 22, 2002
Frances Seely, 76, died Sept. 22.
Mrs. Seely previously resided in Vallejo and Napa before moving to Bakersfield.
Her husband, Dick preceded her in death.
Survivors are her son, Richard (Shelley); sister, Lucille (Lowell) Bunn; and her brother, Michael (Midge) Kennedy.
Arrangements made by the Neptune Society.
Virginia Mitchell
March 24, 1918 -- Feb. 11, 2003
Virginia E. Mitchell, 84, died Tuesday in a local hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Hartington, Neb., and was a Benicia resident.
Mrs. Mitchell was a housewife. During the early 1970s, she lived in Goleta, was an avid painter and sold her paintings on the beach in Santa Barbara.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Les of Benicia; daughters, Victoria of Idaho; Toni of Benicia; Jeanne Lee of Danville; and grandson, Michael Lee.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 14 at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel in Benicia, with the Rev. Al Marks officiating. Burial will be in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 13 at the mortuary.
Peggy Gibson
May 3, 1949 -- May 24, 2003
Peggy Lou Gibson, 54, of Vallejo died May 24 at Greenfield Care Center in Fairfield after a long illness.
She was born in Oakland and lived in Vallejo for 12 years.
Ms. Gibson worked as a laundry attendant for a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Theodore Hart Sr., and her sister, Julia Hart.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Marie Webb of Sacramento; parents, Theodore and Marian Hart of American Canyon; sisters, Linda (Mike) Malichi of Fairfield, Nancy (Butch) Givigliano of Salem, Ore., and Claudette (Steve) Vaught of Merced; brother, Steve (Carynne) Hart of Vallejo; grandchildren Sean, Ron and Jessica; and nieces and nephews.
A private memorial and inurnment will be held.
Arrangements were made by Skyview Memorial Lawn, Vallejo.
Delphino Romero
(March 28, 1951 -April 15, 2001)
Delphino Randy Romero, 50, died Sunday at a local hospital following a long illness.
Mr. Romero was born in San Francisco and was a Vallejo resident for 20 years. He worked as a gardener and was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph in 1969 and Lucy in 1997; and a sister, Sherrie in 1971.
Survivors include sisters, Barbara DiGrande of Vallejo, Caroline (Willie) Abela of Washington; brothers, David (Gussie) of Vallejo, and Joe Jr. (Lita) of San Jose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Colonial Chapels, Vallejo. Vigil service, 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Colonial Chapels. Catholic prayer service, 10 a.m. Friday at Colonial Chapels. Private inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.

Raymond Johnson
(Dec. 2, 1935 - June 27, 2001)
Raymond N. Johnson, 65, died Wednesday at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center-Vallejo following a long illness.
Mr. Johnson, commonly known as "Daddy Ray," was born in Texas and was a Vallejo resident. He was employed with U.C.S.F. for 16 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie of Vallejo; daughter, Ida Marie of Texas; sons, Larry, Everett, Raymond, Craig, and Bobby; stepdaughters, Masha McCoy of Wisconsin, Shirley Cambell of Illinois, and Linda Gary and Sandra McEnge, both of Vallejo; stepsons, Bobolee, Odell, and McKinley; and sister, Ida Marie Joseph of Los Angeles.
Visitation, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at Manigault Mortuary, Vallejo. Memorial, 1 p.m. Friday at Manigault Mortuary, with the Rev. Tommy Smith officiating. Burial in Sunrise Cemetery, Vallejo.
