Tony Farreira
Tony Farreira died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at San Jose Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was 48.
A native of Pico, Azores, Tony moved to Santa Clara County in 1961 as a child. He attended Morgan Hill schools and Live Oak High School. Tony loved the outdoors and after school he began farming organic row crops in the Morgan Hill/Gilroy area. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing, hunting and his vegetable gardening
He was the loving father of Tenica Garcia of Hollister, Sheena Ferreira of Fresno and Autumn Ferreira of Hollister; dear son of Antonio and Filomena Ferreira of Morgan Hill; brother of Alzira Hernandez of Morgan Hill, Lidia (Tim) Gomes of Fremont, Manny (Susan) Ferreira of Gilroy and Maria (Allen) Bosley of Meridian, Idaho; uncle of Joe Ferreira and James (Courtney) Hernandez of Morgan Hill, Michael (Kellie) Gomes of Fremont, Manny (Anna) Ferreira Jr. and Denise Ferreira both of Boston, Mass., Donald (Sharon) Bosley and Sandy Bosley, all of Meridian; and grandnephews, Caleb Henandez, Thomas and Marcus Bosley.
Viewing from 1-6 p.m. followed by Vigil Service. Services begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, at the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine's Church. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Bonnie Leonetti
Bonnie (Yvonne) Leonetti, a longtime San Martin resident, died Monday, March 29. She was 77.
Bonnie was born and raised in the Willow Glen area of San Jose. She graduated from Lincoln High School and attended San Jose State where she belonged to Phi Rho Gamma Sorority. She graduated from Heald’s Business College. She was employed as a secretary at Food Machinery Corp. and as secretary to the athletic director at Santa Clara University.
She moved to the Morgan Hill area after marrying Al Leonetti in 1950. She helped him grow the family retail businesses while raising their daughters. She also was active in many local and civic organizations. She would say the highlights were her membership and term as president of the Alice in Wonderland Chapter of Children’s Home Society, and two terms on the Morgan Hill Unified School District Board of Trustees where she served as president for one term. Bonnie enjoyed playing golf with Riverside and Ridgemark Ladies Golf Clubs, and was proud of her two holes-in-one.
We will miss her with all of our hearts, family members said.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Alfred Leonetti of San Martin; daughters Leslie Leonetti (Jock McCoy) of Los Gatos; Lisa Leonetti and family of Morgan Hill; and Laurie Leonetti of Seattle; dear grandchildren Elena Guevara, Laurel Leonetti and Andy Leonetti; sister Elayne Freitas; and brother Leon “Butch” Cancilla.
She was preceded in death by her parents A.E. “Gene” and Dolly Cancilla and her sister Jeanne Seeberger.
Visitation is Sunday, April 1, 1-3:30 p.m., at Johnson Funeral Home.
Services take place at 10 a.m. Monday, April 5, at St. Catherine’s Church. Interment will be private.

Raymond Jose Caudillo
Raymond Jose Caudillo died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2002. He was 41 years old.
Born in Phoenix, Ariz., Caudillo lived in California most of his life, moving back and forth between Hollister, Gilroy and Morgan Hill until his death. Caudillo had most recently been a maintenance man at the Hollister Mobile Estates trailer park in Hollister.
He is survived by sons Angel Caudillo of Morgan Hill, Jesse and James Caudillo of San Jose, and Jeremiah Caudillo of Hollister; daughter Angelica Caudillo of Morgan Hill; brothers Juan Caudillo and Valentino Caudillo Jr. of Hollister and Martin Caudillo of Madera; sisters Mary Martinez of Los Banos and Maria H. Caudillo of Gilroy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday in the chapel of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister.
Burial followed at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Randal T. Parker
Randal T. Parker died Dec. 26, 2002 in San Jose. He was 45.
He is survived by his mother Rae Parker of Morgan Hill; father Spencer Parker and wife Wanita; siblings Jeff Parker and wife Kathy, Jennifer Giffin and husband Chuck, Stephanie Olvera, Robert Parker and wife Kathy; stepbrother Allon McBee; stepsister LaVeta McBee; nieces and nephews Amy, Sara, Thomas, Nicholas, Holly and Melissa; great nieces, Hayley and Cassandra; aunts Bobbie Ryan and husband Hal, and Jean Pinard; and many cousins and friends at Grace Community Center in San Jose.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home.
Randal and his family request donations to a local kidney foundation.
Marianne B. Miller
Marianne B. Miller died March 26, 2004, at her home. A native of Heidelberg, Germany, she was 48.
She was the beloved wife of Tim Miller of Gilroy, mother of Robert Biggs and his wife, Erin of Phoenix, Ariz., and Monique Wolfe of Phoenix; stepmother of Melissa and Maggie Miller of San Jose; grandmother of Charles, James and Michael Miller, Grae Biggs and Crystal Celeste; sister of Becky Taylor, Steve and Ronald Riegel and James Russell; and daughter of Marianne Anselm of Phoenix. She also is survived by nieces, nephews and her beloved pets Kato, Jasmine, Penelope and Puddi.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
They family asks that any donations be made a charity that supports animals or children, as they were her passion.
Beulah M. “Mikye” Barr
Beulah M. “Mikye” Barr, 78, died Tuesday, March 30, in Morgan Hill.
Born in Stockton, Missouri, she moved to Oroville in 1980 and lived there until 2001. She then moved to Hollister to live with her daughter and family.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Linda and Ken Farrier of Hollister, William R. Barr II of Morgan Hill, Gary and Christine Barr of Morgan Hill and Dan and Kathy Barr of Castle Rock, Colo. She also is survived by 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Richard Barr, who died in 1997; and her daughter, Paget Barr, who died in 1982.
Arrangements and cremation were through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory in Hollister. Private family interment will be in Oroville Cemetery
in Oroville.
The family asks that any donations be made to West Hills Community Church.

Services were this morning, April 2, at Habing Family Funeral Home followed by Funeral Mass at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery, Morgan Hill.
