Evelyn R. Sagen died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson at the age of 90.
Mrs. Sagen was born July 12, 1914 in Edmore, N.D.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service Saturday, May 14 at 11 a.m. at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery
in Hughson. Interment will follow the service. Arrangements are being handled by Daneri Mortuary in Jackson.

Charlotte A. Williams
Sept. 13, 1917 - May 10, 2005
Charlotte A. Williams went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2005 at the age of 87.
Mrs. Williams was born Sept. 13, 1917 in Oakland. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and served as a lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and retired as a captain in the USMC reserves. She also taught elementary school for many years in Hayward.
Mrs. Williams spent many happy retirement years living and painting in Pine Grove.
She is survived by brother Eugene P. Nunes and sister-in-law Dolores Nunes and was the loving aunt of Gregory P. Nunes and his wife Sheran A. Nunes and Sandra A. Nunes. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rhys P. Williams; brother Charles Newins and sister Joyce Gambel.
Friends are welcome for a visitation at W. F. Gormley & Sons Chapel, 2015 Capitol Ave., Sacramento on Saturday, May 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment and burial services will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward on Monday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, the Mary Knoll Fathers or a charity of your choice.
Vicki “Micki” Maureen Hall Jauch
April 1, 1950 - May 9, 2005
Vicki “Micki” Maureen Hall Jauch died Monday, May 9, 2005 at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson at the age of 55.
Mrs. Jauch was born April 1, 1950 to Thomas and Maxine Hall in East Oakland. She grew up in Oakland and graduated from high school there in 1967. She lived in Napa Valley for 26 years before moving to Amador County in 1996.
Micki’s entire career centered around graphic design and she had won an award for her Calistoga wine label. Prior to her death she was working in the Hub at M.P. Associates designing firework displays. She designed for clients such as Universal Studios, Disneyworld and Disneyland.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and loved animals.
She is survived by her husband of two years, Thomas Allen Jauch of Ione; father and mother, Thomas and Maxine Hall of Mace Meadow; sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Warner Davenport of Tulare; and sister, Patricia Reed of Stockton.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Friday, May 13 at 2 p.m. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson. Inurnment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Daneri Mortuary in Jackson.

Doris Begovich Toombs Stock

Doris Begovich Toombs Stock died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson at the age of 91.
Mrs. Stock was born Dec. 28, 1913 to Chris and Soke Begovich in Jackson Gate in Jackson.
She was a member and past president of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, Forrest Parlor No. 86 and a member of the Circle of Serbian Sisters. She owned the Bridge Cabin that previously was at the corner of Broadway and Water Street, was a life long resident of Jackson and was one of the great historians of Amador County. She worked as a waitress for 50 years at the Louver and the Wheel Inn Restaurant, both in Jackson.
She is survived by her nieces, Mashelle Begovich, Suzie Maggi, Colleen Begovich and Janice Hilde; nephews, John Begovich, Butch Begovich and Bobby Williams; great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Begovich, Sam Begovich, the Maggi family, the Hilde family; dear friends, Leona DeVaney, Gertie Gunter, Mae Hobson, Connie Begovich and Anka Fuentes.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Everett Toombs and Elmer Stock; siblings, John C. Begovich, Bob Begovich, Janie Williams, Anne Casagrande and Milos Sharkey Begovich.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service Monday, May 16 at 11:30 a.m. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson. Interment will be in the Serbian Orthodox Cemetery
in Jackson. Arrangements are being handled by Daneri Mortuary in Jackson.

Robert “Bobby” or “Johnny” J. Ingleston
Robert “Bobby” or “Johnny” J. Ingleston, 68, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at his home in Jackson.
Mr. Ingleston was born on Jan. 3, 1937 in Minnesota.

Virginia Jeanette Rocke
May 29, 1921 - May 14, 2005
Let it be known that on Saturday May 14, 2005, Virginia Jeanette Rocke, 83, passed on to be with our Lord and Savior.
Mrs. Rocke was born on May 29, 1921 in Lincoln, Neb. She moved to California with her husband and two children in 1962. After her children were raised, she and her husband, Joe moved to Ridgecrest. Joe worked as a technical writer for about 10 years then retired. Four years later he passed on in 1985.
Virginia stayed in Ridgecrest working as a homemaker for Indian Wells Valley Homemakers until 1997 and then moved to Ione to live with her son Gary and his wife Judy. During her last months she was living at Kit Carson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and was under the care of Hospice of Amador.
She is survived by one brother, Robert Smith and his wife June of Shawnee, Kansas; son, Gary Rocke, Sr. and his wife Judy of Ione; daughter, Ruth Fors and her husband Dave of Cottage Grove, Ore.; six grandchildren; Gary Rocke Jr. and his wife Becky and a great-granddaughter, Gillian of Ione; Liberty Rocke of Sagus; Ethan Rocke and his wife Sebrina of Simi Valley; Crystal Fors and Cammy Fors of Cottage Grove, Ore.; and Curtis Ueland of Helena, Mont.; and four step-grandchildren, David and Kevin Summers of Ione; Zephyr Fors of San Diego; and Roxanna Sprick of Corvallis, Ore.
Virginia requested there be no service but that she be laid to rest next to her husband of 43 years at Oakwood Cemetery
in Chatsworth. Arrangements are being handled by Daneri Mortuary in Jackson.
She will be missed by all who knew her and the families ask that any contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1765 Challenge Way, Ste. 115, Sacramento 95815 or Hospice of Amador, P.O. Box 595, Jackson 95642 who we thank for all their help during the last months. We are also grateful to all the staff at Kit Carson for their care and kindness to Virginia.
Raymond J. Macario
April 28, 1947 - May 10, 2005
Raymond J. Macario, 58, of Pine Grove, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
Mr. Macario was born on April 28, 1947 in Oakland.
Ray was looking forward to retirement at his home in Pine Grove and traveling with his wife. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Ray enjoyed life to the fullest. Someplace in heaven, there is a man riding a motorcycle with a big smile, maybe even wearing a little superman cape.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Macario of Pine Grove; four children and their spouses, Jeff and Patty Macario of Clovis, Cindi and Matt Nielsen of Pleasanton, Cassandra Shearer of Antioch, Jenny and DJ Noe of Tracy; eight grandchildren Bryanna, Allyson, Alexis, Darren, Damon, Grace, Jenna and Alex.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, May 22, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the St. George Hotel in Volcano. Inurnment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Daneri Mortuary in Jackson. Condolences may be offered to the family at danerimortuary@sbcglobal.net.
