Minerva F. Pacho

Minerva F. Pacho, 75, died Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Kaiser Hospital in Manteca. She was born July 9, 1929 in Baracoa, Cuba. and was a resident of Manteca for 30 years.
Mrs. Pacho lived in Tracy for six years and had previously resided in Ferment for 36 years.
She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church and enjoyed cooking. She also loved music, family get togethers, Bible studies, and shopping.
Mrs. Pacho will be remembered as a loving mother to sons Daniel Pacho of Ferment and David (wife JoAnn) Pacho of Alameda; daughters Yolanda Pacho of San Francisco and Patricia Pacho of Tracy; and grandchild Christopher Pacho of Newark.
In addition to her numerous nieces and nephews, she is survived by her siblings, William Fernandez of Manteca, Delmuis Fernandez of Patterson and Lourdes DeGraw of Fremont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eleno M. Pacho.
Visitation were held on Thursday, December 2, 2004, at Fry Memorial Chapel in Tracy.
The graveside service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2004, at 10 a.m. at the Tracy Public Cemetery.

Gary Mulkey
Gary Lynn Mulkey, 44, of Twin Falls, Idaho, died Friday, Nov. 26 at Life Care Center of Boise, Idaho. Mr. Mulkey was a native of Oroville. He lived in the Modesto area for 42 years prior to moving to Twin Falls two years ago.
He was a construction mechanic for five years.
He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Virginia Mulkey of Twin Falls, Idaho; sisters, Barbara Aja of Modesto and Marva Van Gilder of Oroville; brothers, David Mulkey of Riverbank, Alan Mulkey of Idaho and Jim Mulkey of Rhode Island.
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at the chapel.

Marie Fox
Marie Fox, 83, of Oakdale died Sunday, Nov. 21 at Riverbank Nursing Center.
A native of Oklahoma, she lived in Oakdale for 51 years. She was a homemaker. She belonged to the Order of Eastern Star and was past deputy grand matron of Northern California.
She is survived by her children, Pauline Ward of Oakdale, Robert Fox of Oakland and Glenn Fox of Oklahoma; brothers, Paul Hess of Washington, Calvin Hess of Modesto, William Hess of Salida; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Fox and daughter, Mary Lou Loucks.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Norberto Saldivar, Sr.
Norberto G. Saldivar, Sr., 82, of Riverbank died Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Oak Valley Hospital.
A native of Colorado, he lived in Riverbank for 35 years. He worked at Contadina for 30 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local #748 and St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores R. Saldivar of Riverbank; children, Catalina Villavicencio, Yolanda Garcia, Renya Saldivar, Patricia Saldivar, all of Riverbank, Linda Saldivar of Santa Ana, Maria Vizcaino of Ceres, Juventino Saldivar of Modesto and Veronica Mendoza of Escalon; brothers, Felipe Saldivar of Mexico, Francisco Saldivar of Woodlake and Augustin Saldivar of Riverbank; 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son Norberto Saldivar, Jr. and grandson, Gerardo Saldivar.
Rosary and mass were said. Burial was held on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation was held.

Marie Fox

Francis Peterson
A funeral was held Tuesday at Monte Vista Chapel for Francis "Pete" Peterson, 89, of Turlock. He died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 at Emanuel Medical Center.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park under the direction of Allen Mortuary.
Born Nov. 8, 1915, Mr. Peterson was a native of Hughson and lived in Turlock most of his life. He worked in equipment maintenance at the Turlock Irrigation District for 33 years. Mr. Peterson was a charter member of Monte Vista Chapel.
He leaves behind his wife, Jean Peterson of Turlock; two children, Barbara Clukey of Quito, Equador, and Wayne Peterson of Stockton; and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Robert M. Mills
A funeral service was held Tuesday at the McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Robert M. Mills, 82, of Ceres. He died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Born July 6, 1922, Mr. Mills was born in Lincoln, Neb., and lived in Ceres for 20 years. He was a forklift mechanic for 60 years; he retired as manager of Lift Truck Service Corp. Mr. Mills volunteered more than 10,000 hours at Memorial Medical Center. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Mr. Mills leaves behind his daughter, Roberta Santellan of Modesto; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Mills.

James M. Porter
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memorial Park for James Mack Porter, 77, of Ceres. He died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 at his home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 26, 1927, Mr. Porter was a native of Bradford, Ark., and lived in Ceres for 40 years. He was a molder operator with Hershey Foods for 20 years. Mr. Porter enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He leaves behind his wife, Mabel Porter of Ceres; three children, Larry Porter and Michael Porter, both of Ceres, and Zana Teaney of Avery; two brothers, William Porter of Lodi and Richmond Porter of New Mexico; his sister, Zana Looney of Groveland; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister.
Alice P. Foote
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (today) at Turlock Memorial Park for Alice Pearl Foote, 95, of Modesto. She died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004 at Valley Comfort Care Center.
Allen Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Born Nov. 12, 1909, Miss Foote was a native of Turlock, and lived in Modesto for three years. She was a missionary with the Bolivian Indian Mission Board, spending 41 years in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Mrs. Foote lived on a family ranch in Modesto from 1977-95. Mrs. Foote graduated from Turlock High School, and was a life member of the Honor Scholarship Society. She also graduated from Biola University and was a member of the school's alumni association. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ceres, and the Society for International Ministries. She enjoyed her yard and her cats.
She leaves behind her sister, Mary E. Halperin of San Francisco; and two brothers, Leland K. Foote of Reno and Ronald E. Foote of Oklahoma.
E. Wayne Lee
A graveside service held held Tuesday afternoon at Ceres Memorial Park for E. Wayne Lee, 82, of Modesto. He died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 at Doctors Medical Center.
The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.
Born Feb. 28, 1922, Mr. Lee was a native of Jay, Okla., and had lived in Modesto since 1946. He was employed by E.&J.; Gallo Winery for 22 years. Mr. Lee was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
He leaves behind five children, Rodney Lee of Turlock, Rickey Lee of Ceres, and Shirley Lee, Jerry Lee and Eddie Lee, all of Modesto; his brother, Robert Lee of Ceres; his sister, Mamie Chapman of Turlock; and 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee; daughter Patricia Thornhill; and son Robert Lee.
