BEARD, Lucetta Golsan, Beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend. Returned to the God who gave her life. 4 February 1996, at 5:20 a.m. at Kino Community Hospital, Tucson, AZ. Born 22 April, 1901 in Autaugaville, AL. Lucetta was the oldest daughter of James Edwin and Bessie Beatrice Golsan. She moved to Tucson from Salt Lake City, UT about 30 years ago. Spent 20 of those years living at the Matin Luther King Apartments in downtown Tucson. She was an assistant manager there, and was well loved for her happy smile and beautiful crochet work. She is survived by her sister Marie Sorenson, of Gardena, CA and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 10, 1996 at 10:00 a.m., at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave. All are welcomed.

CLARK, Mrs Neil H., died February 7, 1996 in St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Clark was born October 18, 1908 in Chelsea, OK where she attended school. In 1929 she graduated from Miami Oklahoma Baptist Nursing School. She worked as a registered nurse. She had lived in Tucson since 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Clark and an infant son, John Ferald Clark. She is survived by sisters, Blanche Shepherdson of Tucson, Caroline Breedlove of CA, and Martha (Raymond) Thompson of OK; niece, Caroline Amos of Tucson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 9 at Sleeth Chapel, First Baptist Church, 215 E. 5th St. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

COULAHAN, Mary Blanche, 97, took her last flight at the Tucson VAMC Hospice on 3 February, 1996. She was a World War II veteran with the USAF from 1944 to 1952. Born Ford River, MI on 14 January, 1899. She worked for over 30 years in department store sales in Escanaba, MI, Milwaukee, WI and retired from Foley’s in 1986 as their oldest employee. She is survived by several distant out-of-state cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 215 S. Craycroft Rd. at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, 10 February, 1996. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice. Arrangements by ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL.

DON, Rose Sunny, 84, of Tucson died Tuesday, February 6, 1996. She is survived by her husband, John; son, Newton of San Francisco; and daughter, Yvonne of Hong Kong; and two grandchildren, Maxwell and Peter Shrieve-Don. Born in San Francisco, Sunny was the eldest of the 12 children of CHIN Chong Tsung and Helen Leung. Surviving her are brothers, William, Martin, and Benjamen, all of San Francisco; Thomas of Sacramento; and sister, Anne of San Francisco. Services will be held at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, 3015 N. Oracle Road on Saturday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of choice.

FALK, Lloyd Edward “John’, 75, died February 4, 1996, a good, strong and gentle man. He taught history and political science in the public schools for 30 years. The good he achieved during this time is incalculable. Countless people approached Lloyd over the years and thanked him for inspiring them to continue their education. He served for four years in the European Theatre during World War II, where he met his wife, Mary. His greatest joy was his family; he always put us first. He took pride in our happiness, and we believe he watches over us still. Survived by wife, Mary; daughter, Margaret (Glenn) McCreedy; only sister, Muriel Peterson (Wis); brother-in-law, Jack (Audrey) Daley; sister-in-law, Evelyn Ridgway (N.Z.); brother-in-law, James Daley; sisters-in-law, Margaret Davis and Nora Bennett (England); nieces and nephews, Carol (Wis), Jim, Lyn, Andrew, Ann, Clare, Francis, John (N.Z.), James and Elizabeth (England); childhood friends, John and Helen Slaughter (Minn); his faithful cat, Sheba. Our thanks to neighbors, relatives and friends for prayers and caring, to dedicated doctors and staff at TMC; to Jean V., Home Care nurse; and husband, Tony, for invaluable help. Arrangements by WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL. Funeral is private. Memorial Services later in Tucson, Wisconsin, England, New Zealand. FERCHAU, Rolf Allen, 36, of Tucson, passed away February 4, 1996. He is survived by his daughters, Roseanna and Amanda Ferchau; and beloved close friend, Maria Ferchau and family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11, 1996 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, Center Chapel, 240 S. GLASS, Lena Mae, 85, of Tucson, died February 8, 1996. Survived by son, Billy “Tex’ Glass of Tucson; sister, Ione Miles of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Charles T. Survived by his parents, Severiano and Juana; brothers, Miguel, Gildardo, Lucio, Roman; sisters, Carmen Carbajal, Felicitas Henderson, Paqui Nelson, Margarita Dominguez, Julia Jauregui-Lopez. LA SURE, Reginald P., 66, of Tucson, died Wednesday, February 7, 1996. Survivors include: beloved wife, Joan; children, Patricia (Tom) Fieden of Albany, NY, Thomas (Kathy) La Sure, Collette (James) Fredrickson and Katie La Sure, all of Tucson; seven grandchildren; mother, Lillian La Sure of Fayettville, NY; sister, Nancy (Tony) Marsello of NY; and brother, Peter (Jane) La Sure of NY. MCMURRICH, William C., 81, of Tucson, died Wednesday, February 7, 1996. Survived by his wife, Marguerite E. McMurrich; sons, Ronald McMurrich, Donald McMurrich and Robert McMurrich; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Katherine Johnston; niece, Doris Latham. MORALES, Ann Elma Olds passed away February 6, 1996 after a prolonged illness. She is survived by her son, Bobby Morales (Robin); grandsons, Nathan and Joshua; granddaughter, Gabriele; mother, Erna Olds; sister and brother-in-law, Erna and Louie Acosta; sister, Bernice Reyes; sister and brother-in-law, Georgia and Herman McCaslin; sister, Geraldine Fragoso; brother and sister-in-law, John and Suzanne Olds; and many nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to the Doctor and his staff at El Rio Health Center for their love and care. ROSEN, Sidney William, 79, of Boynton Beach, FL, died February 6, 1996 in Washington, DC. Survived by sons, Jonathan Hugh (Amalia) Rosen of Potomac, MD, Norman Lewis Rosen of Providence, RI; sister, Esther (Martin J.) Steiner of Miami Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife, Roberta J. Rosen on October 31, 1983. Graveside Services were held Thursday, Temple Emanu-El section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Joseph S. SANDOVAL, Robert R., 44, of Tucson, passed away February 5, 1996. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Sandoval; grandmother, Lupe M. Romero; parents, Robert A. and Frances R. Sandoval; daughters, Lydia, Sophia, Talia; sons, Bobby Santos, Vicente Romero, Bruce Romero; and sisters, Linda (Luis) Cruz, Cynthia (Steve) Konst. AQUILINO, Sean Michael, 23, of Tucson, died Wednesday, February 7, 1996. He is survived by his mother, Barbara (Ted) DeYoung; father, Robert Aquilino; sisters, Michelle (Kerry) Achgill, Cynthia (David) Aquilino-Correa; brothers, Scott (Marie) DeYoung, Stephen DeYoung; grandparents, James and Esther Oliphint; aunts, Mary Holmes, Judy (Mark) Stewart. Sean was a caring, loving, happy, Child of God. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 1996 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., with Pastor William Denlinger of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church officiating. ARAIZA, Josie B., 93, of Mammoth, passed away February 8, 1996 in Tucson. She was born September 28, 1902 in Mammoth. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Jo Ortiz and Stella Lovett; a brother, William Buzan; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 11 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth. The Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 12 also at Blessed Sacrament. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Mammoth. Griffith Mortuary handled arrangements.

ARNOLD, Russell Joseph, died February 4, 1996. Survived by his wife, Viola M. “Margie’ of Tucson; children, Michael (Kathy) of Tucson, Gregory of Scottsdale, Daniel (Jacques) of Holland, David (Lorna) of Thatcher, AZ; grandchildren, Ashley, Ethan, Morgan, and Zachary and many other relatives and friends. Russell was a US Army Air Corps and Navy Pilot during World War II and an accomplished concert violinist. Mr. Arnold retired from his Real Estate Appraising business in 1991. There will be a private ceremony on March 10 arranged by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

HARRISON, Jack A., 71, died February 7, 1996. Husband of Maradine Mills Harrison of Tucson; father of Jack U. Harrison of TX, Lovonia Kaye Harrison of Tucson and Judy Reisig of Mesa; stepfather of C. Kris Mills of Tucson, R. Dan Mills of IL, Annette Fienberg of Tucson, Jonathan M. Mills of IL, David M. Mills of Tucson and B. Andrew Mills of Washington, D.C.; son of Ada Harrison of IN; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. He was a pilot in WWII and the Korean Conflict.
