DALE, Stephanie Marie, 5, of Tucson, left this world October 30, 1995 to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. Stephanie filled and touched the lives of many people and was always so loving and full of joy. ALLMENDINGER, Rupert, 90, died October 30, 1995. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith, in 1977. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of the home; and daughter, Carol (Marion) Burke, all of Tucson, and daughter- in-law, Ada Williams of Tulsa, OK. He has five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Vern (Oma) Allmendinger of Menifee, CA; and sisters, Vivian Allmendinger and Violet (Herbert) Esgar of Colorado Springs, CO. Special family members are the widows of his brothers, Gerald, Mary Allmendinger of Wiley, CO and Victor, Lucille Allmendinger of Menifee, CA as well as several nieces and nephews. Rupert and Ruth were married 62 years. During that time, Rupert enjoyed varied occupations ranging from manufacturing tires during World War II at Firestone Tire Co. in Los Angeles, CA, to farming three different properties near Wiley, CO, managing a Conoco farm-delivery service out of Lamar, CO, and maintenance at El Monte Public Schools in El Monte, CA from where he retired in 1971. Retirement years since that time have been Tucson. Prior to his illness, Rupert was an active member of St. James Methodist Church where he was a member of the Administrative Board, the Pastoral Committee and served many years as an usher. He volunteered for the Service Learning Program through Pima Council on Aging, and often attended Armory Park Senior Citizen’s Center where he enjoyed playing bridge. In 1987 at the age of 82, Rupert received a pin for being the oldest man who walked over 100 miles for the State Diamond Jubilee Walk. Family and many friends will remember him for his humor, honesty, kindness and love. The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Carondelet Hospice Foundation, 1802 W. ATKINSON, Louise Maybeno, born June 30, 1905 Algiers, LA, died October 28, 1995 in Tucson. Moved from New Orleans, LA to Tucson in 1945. Survived by daughter, Marylyn Hook and son-in-law Richard Hook of Tucson; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Audrey Maybeno of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren, Vivian Young (Rudy) Castillo of Tucson and Gregory Young of Phoenix; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She graduated from Charity School of Nursing with the Honor Pin of which she was proud. Then graduated from Louisiana State University. She received recognition for service from the American National Red Cross for service duty WWII. She nursed for 40 years in New Orleans then Tucson. Ending her career with the Tucson Visiting Nurses. George Robert Bassett 65, of Tucson, died Monday, October 23, 1995. Mr. Bassett retired in 1968 from the US Air Force as a Technical Sergeant after 20 years of service.
