LAWRENCE, O. “Pat’ Henry, 79, of Tucson died on November 5, 1995. He was born in Alexander, ND and moved to Tucson in 1951. Pat graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He served as a captain in the Corp of Engineers for four years. Pat was on the faculty of the North Dakota State University for five years in the Department of Civil Engineering. Upon arrival in Tucson Pat became a consulting engineer for municipal services in Tucson. He was the past president of the Arizona State Water Pollution and Control Agency and won several awards for his work with water pollution. He was a member of the American Society of Professional Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineers. Other organizations included the VFW, American Legion and The Scottish Rite Shriner’s. Pat was a student of Southwest History and was particularly noted for his slide show presentations about Charles Russell “The Cowboy Artist’. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Kenneth of Kingman, AZ, and Dan of West Hartford, CN; daughter-in-law, Muriel; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christine; sisters, Mary Sims, Alexander, ND, Helen Trowbridge, Willeston, ND, and Genie Hall, Billings, MT; stepsons, John, Larry and Rick Lohse; seven step-grandchildren, Allen, Evan, Rebecca, Brent, Michael, Katie and Alex Lohse. BISHOP, Edna Marguerite, of Tucson passed away November 6, 1995. Survived by daughters, Carol Flaherty, Elaine Kay Evans; son, John Kenneth Bishop, Jr.; granddaughters, Juliet Christine Evans, Emily Pearl Bishop; grandsons, Ronald Kenneth Evans, Joseph Kenneth Bishop; and great-grandson, Luke Christopher Kennedy; brother, Roland Mniece; sister, Ruth Nason. Mrs. Bishop was born January 9, 1912 in Mecosta, MI and received an MA in English from Wayne State University, MI. She taught for over 20 years in the secondary schools of Michigan and at colleges including Colorado State College, Valencia Jr. College (Florida) and The University of Arizona. Her husband, John Kenneth Bishop, Sr. To whom she was married for more than 40 years, passed away in 1985. Funeral services will held at ARIZONA MORTUARY, 7 E. FUSCHINI, Ethel L., 93, born September 6, 1902 in Foneswood, VA. Mrs. Fuschini was a long time resident of Tampa, FL, who moved to Tucson in March of this year. She died Friday, November 4. She is preceded in death by her son Thomas. Survivors include, her beloved husband of 69 years, Salvador; son, Paul and his wife Jennette, all of Tucson; daughter-in-law, Fay of Tampa; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. GAMBACORTA, Merrie Jo, 88, of Tucson, died November 5, 1995. Mrs. Gambocorta was an active member of Ocotillo Garden Club in Tucson and in Phi Mu Sorority and was instrumental in having a sorority house built at the U of A. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Otto Gambacorta who was associated with Thomas Davis Clinic. She is survived by a sister, Glennore Arpy of Omaha, NE; and seven nieces and nephews.
