Survived by wife, Mary Lou Henthorn; children, Michael (Crystal) Thorson, Robin (Jim) DeSando, Lee Robert Murphy and Katy Beth Murphy; brother of Bernice (John) Mair; son-in-law of Mary Fredrick; grandfather of Brandon, Dana, Tawni and Cristofer. KOPCA, Kathleen (nee Colby), 73, of Leeds, England, passed away November 13, 1995. Preceded in death by her best friend and loving husband, Joseph Kopca in 1993. Cherished mother of Christopher (Carolyn) of Portland, OR, Mathew (Diane) of Sussex, WI and Patricia (John) Norton of Tucson, AZ; grandma of Nessa, Benjamin and Anne of Portland, Cole and Brenna of Sussex and Colin of Tucson. Kathleen was an active member of Cactus Cablers, Embroiders Guild of America, Smocking Arts Guild of America, Old Pueblo Pleaters and Needle Crafters of Tucson. Mr. and Mrs. Kopca raised their family in Milwaukee, WI until their retirement to Tucson in 1980. She will be sadly missed by all her friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor Wednesday, November 15, 9:00 a.m. at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco. NAGY, Bartholomew S. “Bart’, 68, of Tucson, died suddenly November 11, 1995. Survived by wife, Lois Anne Nagy; and daughters, Yvonne M. Nagy of Tucson and Erika (Peter) Lert, of Newton, MA. Also survived by grandchildren, Anna and Richard Lert, Newton, MA; and mother, Maria Nagy of Budapest, Hungary; and special friend Jo Ann Overs. Dr. Nagy was a professor of Geosciences at The University of Arizona since 1968, and he was internationally known for his research in organic geochemistry. QUIROZ, Hector Sotelo, 78, of Tucson, passed away November 10, 1995. Survived by wife, Trinidad C. Quiroz; daughters, Gloria (Luther) McLeod, Catherine Quiroz; sons, David (Rose) Quiroz, Robert (Bernadette) Quiroz, Charles (Dahlia) Quiroz; sister, Lucretia Brady; brothers, Joe Quiroz, Rodrigo Quiroz. Hector, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away November 10th after a sudden illness. Mr. Quiroz was the owner of Hector’s Cafe and other businesses in Tucson. TOMLINSON, Alfred, age 74, of Oro Valley, died Sunday, November 12, 1995. He was a longtime resident of Harrison and Port Chester, NY, before moving to Arizona in 1984. Mr. Tomlinson worked as an assembler for Pitney-Bowes in Stanford, CT., retiring after 38 years. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Aileen Tomlinson of Oro Valley; children, Susan Tomlinson (Mrs. James Harrison) of Catalina, AZ, Frank Tomlinson of Valhalla, NY and June Tomlinson of Catalina, AZ; brothers, Arthur and Raymond Tomlinson of Harrison, NY; grandchildren, Jaimie Grady Lindsay (Mrs. Richard), Dana Tomlinson, David Lee Arno, Adam Arno, James P. Harrison, and nieces and nephews. Mr. Tomlinson was a WWII veteran, serving with the Army Corp. 359th Bomb Squadron.
