PIERCE, Daniel R., 5, of Tucson, died December 4, 1995. Survived by parents, Doug and Cheryl Pierce; and brothers, Ryan and Andrew; grandparents, Rayvon and Connie Jones, all of Tucson and grandmother, Janice Martin of Sacramento, CA; aunt, Maggie McDowell of Tucson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel was a student at Resurrection Lutheran Church Preschool. SAKIN, Doris Glenn, died December 4, 1995. She was born in Mt. View, California on January 7, 1923. She was predeceased by her eldest son, James Frank Sakin. She is survived by her husband, Larry Sakin, Sr.; and her youngest son, Larry A. Sakin, Jr. Doris was much loved by her husband and son and her many friends, she will be missed greatly. She died peacefully in her sleep at the Hospice at St. Joseph’s Hospital after many years of suffering with osteoporosis and cancer, painfully. She was a beautiful person with an engaging personality, with a smile that would light up a room with her presence. In the past she was an active partner with her husband in Desert Fashions Corp. Also was active in Altrusia and the Beacon Foundation, she was a co-founder with her husband in the Tucson Memorial Society, and active in the Unitarian Church. Services will be private. STUCK, Scotty Amburn, 63, a 10 year resident of Tucson, passed away December 2, 1995 in Tucson. Born October 13, 1932 in Greenville, OH. Mr. Stuck was a well known mechanic at Tucson Raceway Park. A veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Chicago, IL. Survived by his wife of 10 years, Margaret; sons, William and Deric Stuck; daughters, Angela Brandenburg, Cindy Cano and Bonny Hummel; grandchildren, Jennifer Stuck, Gina and Lisa Cano, Brad and Tiara Hummel; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Stuck. BERUBE, Edwin A., 62, of Tucson, died December 4, 1995. Survived by his wife of 16 years, Anna. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He is survived by five children, Gale Bursky, Dale Postler, Robin Dean, Sherry Rodriquez and Sandy Berube; and 11 grandchildren, all of CT; also five stepchildren, Deborah Adams, Shelly Camp, Kirk Blondeaux and Darcie Revay of Tucson and Kenneth Blondeaux of Salem, OR; and 11 step-grandchildren; also surviving are five sisters and four brothers. PERRY, Mrs. Robert C., was born Harriett Catherine Brown, December 3, 1911, near Rockford, IL, a daughter of Arthur D. and Minnie Beale Brown. She married Robert C. Perry, February 3, 1934, in Rockford, IL. They resided in Bloomington and Normal, IL, until coming to Tucson to make their home in 1976. In Illinois Mrs. Perry was a member of Red Cross, serving as McLean County Motor Corp Chairman during WWII, and a member of Bloomington-Normal Woman’s Club. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, City Panhellenic, Brokaw Woman’s Service League, and Four O’clock History Club. For many years she was Republican Committee Woman in Normal, IL. She also worked with Community Players for a number of years and at one time was local chairman of the Baby Fold Drive. Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband, Robert C. Perry of Tucson; and one nephew, Gordon B. Woehler of Rockford, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Humane Society or charity of your choice. (Pat) Thomas; daughter, Nancy (Milton) Gum; daughter, Margaret Jane Fitzgerald, all of TX; brother, Mark (Darlene) Clawson of KS; brother, John Timothy Clawson, Jr. of Casa Grande, AZ; sister-in-law, Toby Tillie; brother-in-law, Alex Vogel, both of CA; grandchildren, Kelly Sloan, Shelly (Orrin) Thompson, Tina (Mike) Moss, Robert Thomas Jr., Michelle Gum, Eric Gum, all of TX, John Thomas of CO; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vogel worked during WWII as Rivetor on airplanes, she also was a chef for Civil Service. She was always available to encourage others. She will be missed.
