MARTINEZ, Daniel, Jr. 22, a resident of Tucson, died Monday, December 4, 1995. Survived by wife, Alma; parents, Daniel Sr. and Marisela Martinez; sister, Priscilla Martinez, all of Tucson; grandparents, Olga and Victor Meza of Tucson and Elsie Reyes of Puerto Rico; great-grandmothers, Maria Meza of Tucson and Juanita (Gilbert) Holguin of Douglas, AZ; also survived by the Mendoza, Martinez and Meza families. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave. Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 602 W. Ajo Way. Interment South Lawn Cemetery.

PIERCE, Daniel R., 5, of Tucson, died December 4, 1995. Survived by parents, Doug and Cheryl Pierce; and brothers, Ryan and Andrew; grandparents, Rayvon and Connie Jones, all of Tucson and grandmother, Janice Martin of Sacramento, CA; aunt, Maggie McDowell of Tucson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel was a student at Resurrection Lutheran Church Preschool. Friends may call at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 11575 N. 1st Ave., Thursday, December 7 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee.

SAKIN, Doris Glenn, died December 4, 1995. She was born in Mt. View, California on January 7, 1923. She was predeceased by her eldest son, James Frank Sakin. She is survived by her husband, Larry Sakin, Sr.; and her youngest son, Larry A. Sakin, Jr. Doris was much loved by her husband and son and her many friends, she will be missed greatly. She died peacefully in her sleep at the Hospice at St. Joseph’s Hospital after many years of suffering with osteoporosis and cancer, painfully. She was a beautiful person with an engaging personality, with a smile that would light up a room with her presence. In the past she was an active partner with her husband in Desert Fashions Corp. Also was active in Altrusia and the Beacon Foundation, she was a co-founder with her husband in the Tucson Memorial Society, and active in the Unitarian Church. Services will be private. Arrangements by Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan.

STOCKMAN, Violet H., 74, passed away December 3, 1995. Survived by sons, Edward (Helen) Sabo, Leo Bobby Stockman and Richard L. (Ann) Stockman; grandchildren, Yvette Sabo and Seneca Sabo; great- grandson, Rene Sabo. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 1995, TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., 8:00 to 10:15 a.m., Mass will follow 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral Church. Arrangements by TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

STUCK, Scotty Amburn, 63, a 10 year resident of Tucson, passed away December 2, 1995 in Tucson. Born October 13, 1932 in Greenville, OH. Mr. Stuck was a well known mechanic at Tucson Raceway Park. A veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Chicago, IL. Survived by his wife of 10 years, Margaret; sons, William and Deric Stuck; daughters, Angela Brandenburg, Cindy Cano and Bonny Hummel; grandchildren, Jennifer Stuck, Gina and Lisa Cano, Brad and Tiara Hummel; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Stuck. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 7, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave., Deacon Bernard Minetti of St. John’s Catholic Church officiating.

WICKERSHAM, W. June, 70, of Tucson, died Sunday, December 3, 1995. Survived by her son, Larry (Ann) Wickersham; grandchildren, Peter (Jennifer) and Christopher; sister, Esther Knatz; brothers, Robert McDowell, Don McDowell, Jim McDowell, all of Tucson. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 1995 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd.

BERUBE, Edwin A., 62, of Tucson, died December 4, 1995. Survived by his wife of 16 years, Anna. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He is survived by five children, Gale Bursky, Dale Postler, Robin Dean, Sherry Rodriquez and Sandy Berube; and 11 grandchildren, all of CT; also five stepchildren, Deborah Adams, Shelly Camp, Kirk Blondeaux and Darcie Revay of Tucson and Kenneth Blondeaux of Salem, OR; and 11 step-grandchildren; also surviving are five sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be held December 5 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1300 N. Greasewood Rd. Burial and additional services will be in Connecticut.

BLEAKLEY, William J., 80, of Tucson, died December 2, 1995. Survived by daughter, Gail Larson of Tucson; sons, William J. Bleakley of MD and Gary R. Bleakley of TX; sisters, Elizabeth Bleakley of DE and Lucille Horton of NY; grandchildren, Christine, Jim, Lynn, Karin, Adam, Suzanne; and three great grandchildren. Private memorial service will be held. Burial will be in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.

BUCHANAN, Dolores, 73, of Tucson, died December 2, 1995. Survived by sisters, Alice Bostick, Ellen Rose (William) Gilkinson, Marilyn (Morris) Farrow; brother, Richard (Elisabeth) Buchanan, all of Tucson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dolores was a member of the City of Tucson Retired Employees Association, Southern Arizona Bank Retired Employees Association, SS. Peter and Paul Marion Guild. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, N. Campbell Ave. at Elm St. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd., (one block North Grant.) DAUENHAUER, Katheryn R., 68, of Tucson, died December 2, 1995. Mother of Diane P. Morrell of Martinez, CA, Robert D. Dauenhauer of Olney, MD, Bruce A. Dauenhauer of Walnut Creek, CA, Gene E. Dauenhauer of Twinbrook, MD, Robin R. Dauenhauer of Gaithersburg, MD; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Church Wednesday, December 6 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church. DE SPAIN, Steven Joseph. In loving memory of our husband, father, son, brother and dear friend. Born in Tucson, Arizona at St. Mary’s Hospital on September 9, 1953, died December 2, 1995 peacefully at his home. He graduated from Salpointe High School and Pima Community College. He owned and operated De Spain’s Furniture and Repair Service. Previously, he had been employed by J. C. Penney’s for over 18 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Marie (Kitty) De Spain. He is survived by his loving wife and childhood sweetheart, La Joyce; son, Johnny Clayton; father, John W. De Spain, Jr.; sister, Mary Rose Baron (Tom); brother, John W. De Spain, III (Angela); sister-in-law, Laurie Hampton (Wade); brother-in-law, John D. Cooney; nieces; Jennifer and Julie Baron, Brianna De Spain, Katy Hampton; nephews, Christopher and Joshua De Spain, Jason and Kevin Hampton and many loving relatives and good friends. Family and friends may attend the Rosary and Memorial Service on Thursday, December 7, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway). KLUG, Doris N., 75, Beloved wife of the Rev. Alvin T. Klug for 56 years, was called home by the Lord Saturday, December 2, 1995. She is survived by her husband and three children. Alvin G. Klug of Wausau, WI, Rebecca D. Klug of Alexandria, VA, and Paul H. Klug of Tucson. Her twin sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Herbert Baker) of Sheboygan, WI; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. PERRY, Mrs. Robert C., was born Harriett Catherine Brown, December 3, 1911, near Rockford, IL, a daughter of Arthur D. and Minnie Beale Brown. She married Robert C. Perry, February 3, 1934, in Rockford, IL. They resided in Bloomington and Normal, IL, until coming to Tucson to make their home in 1976. In Illinois Mrs. Perry was a member of Red Cross, serving as McLean County Motor Corp Chairman during WWII, and a member of Bloomington-Normal Woman’s Club. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, City Panhellenic, Brokaw Woman’s Service League, and Four O’clock History Club. For many years she was Republican Committee Woman in Normal, IL. She also worked with Community Players for a number of years and at one time was local chairman of the Baby Fold Drive. Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband, Robert C. Perry of Tucson; and one nephew, Gordon B. Woehler of Rockford, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Humane Society or charity of your choice. VOGEL, Frances Elizabeth, 78 years old, passed away Saturday, December 2, 1995. Her husband, David E. Vogel preceded in death September 13, 1991. Survivors include daughter, Deborah (Jim) Patterson; son, Phillip R. (Yvonne) Thomas, both of Tucson; son, Robert A. (Pat) Thomas; daughter, Nancy (Milton) Gum; daughter, Margaret Jane Fitzgerald, all of TX; brother, Mark (Darlene) Clawson of KS; brother, John Timothy Clawson, Jr. of Casa Grande, AZ; sister-in-law, Toby Tillie; brother-in-law, Alex Vogel, both of CA; grandchildren, Kelly Sloan, Shelly (Orrin) Thompson, Tina (Mike) Moss, Robert Thomas Jr., Michelle Gum, Eric Gum, all of TX, John Thomas of CO; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vogel worked during WWII as Rivetor on airplanes, she also was a chef for Civil Service. She was always available to encourage others. She will be missed.
