ARREOLA, Enrique V. 'Henry', 78, of Tucson, passed away August 30, 1995. Preceded in death by wife, Rachel Aguirre Arreola; parents, Miguel and Susana Arreola; sisters, Carlota Jacobs and Julia Lopez; brothers, Miguel and Manuel Arreola. Survived by daughters, Cecilia (Michael) Price and Celeste (Anthony) O'Neil; sisters, Susie Arreola and Lidia Landon of Lancaster, CA; brother-in-law, Benjamin Jacobs; grandchildren, Sydney and David. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Arreola was born in Hayden, AZ on July 5, 1917. He was retired from the City of Tucson in 1979 after 35 years of services with the operations department. He served in the United States Army during World War II and participated in the Liberation of the Philippines as a member of The Elite 158th Bushmasters. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 1995 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 300 South Tucson Blvd., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church. BRENNER, Carole Jeanne, 42, dearly beloved wife of Barney Brenner. In their 20th year of marriage her Lord took her in her sleep on the morning of August 29th, 1995. Survived by her father, Eugene B. Dickinson and her stepmother, Dorothy, and their children, Valerie Jeanne, Steven (Lori), Eugene Jr., and Kenneth. Also survived by her stepfather, Leonard J. Nieder. Carole was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Elizabeth 'Betty' Nieder. 'Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. She will do her husband good all the days of her life. Her husband praises her.' From head to foot, inside and out, there were none more beautiful. Visitation will be at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, 3015 N. Rudy Luevano, 74, of Tucson, died August 29, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; sons, Benny (Carmella) and David; daughter, Margie (Basil) Henderson; three grandsons, Danny Henderson and Arthur (Diane) and Bobby Luevano; three granddaughters, Debbie (Armando) Bojorquez, Denise Henderson and Fonda Luevano; two great-grandsons and six great-granddaughters also survive. Rudy served in WWII with the Bushmasters and 158th Infantry Regiment and was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked in the oil fields in New Mexico and Texas before moving to Arizona where he worked and retired from Duval mines. After retirement he worked at VF Factory Outlet. LEE, Charles W. (Chuck), 85, Lt. Col Retired, died August 26, 1995. Born in Manchester, NH. Survived by wife, Val; children, Robert (Carol) of Burlington, MA, Roger (Sharon), Dennis (Joni) and Lori, all of Tucson; brother, Robert of Saco, ME; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Chuck's 30 year Army career included five years in the Pacific during and after WWII, Commander of the 793 RD M.P. Battalion and Commandant of the M.P. School, Europe and Korea. He was a member of Masonic Builders 60 Tucson, and Scottish Rite Indianapolis. Resident of Tucson for 34 years. Memorial Service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel #1 at Davis Monthan AFB with Military Honors provided by DMAFB Honor Guard. Any memorial may be made to the charity of your choice. MALONE, Wilma Jean, 62, died Monday, August 28, 1995. Preceded in death by husband, Lt. Donald W. Malone. She is survived by her children, Erin Malone Bridge (Jeff), Suzanne Malone and Bradley Malone; two grandchildren, Madison and Alexander Bridge; dear friend of Noelle McCright and Mary and Hal Newbanks. Born in Kansas City, KS in 1932. Received her BA from Washburn University and her Masters from the University of Arizona. Taught schoolin TUSD for many years. She was a member of the Tucson Collie Club and the Collie Club of America. Active in all areas of animal welfare, including legislation, cruelty investigations and rescue. She was a woman of true courage and conviction who made a significant impact on all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all. A special thanks to TMC Hospice. NARMOUR, Ruth Russell, 88, died August 28, 1995. Survived by daughters, Shirley (Mel) O'Dell of Tucson, Peggy (David) Dean of Globe and a son, Dr. Eugene (Kathy) Narmour of Swarthmore, PA; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two nephews, Hank Narmour of TX and Reg Narmour of NC. RAINS, Encil E. USN COMDR, RET. 75, was killed in a car accident in Inverness, Scotland on August 25, 1995. Encil served 22 years in the U. S. Navy, retiring as Commander in 1963. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea where he served on destroyers and was awarded several medals including the purple heart. He served a tour of duty at the Pentagon, was the director of the Brookfield (IL) ZOO: Executive Director of the ASPCA and director of San Diego County Animal Control. In Tucson, Encil was a substitute teacher and enjoyed his hobbies, crafts, tinkering and travel. He was a multi-talented man and touched so many lives. He is survived by his wife, Lee; children, Phillip (Lynn) Rains, Leslie (Greg) Pizzino, Jennifer (Ron) Grant; grandchildren, Tia, Erin, Nicky, Rory, Emily and Jonah; sister, Alberta (Lee) House; many loving nieces and nephews; and his former wife Genevieve Rains. Encil and Lee would have celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in September. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. WIESE, Carl, 68, died Tuesday, August 29, 1995. Survived by wife, Nancy Wiese; son, Terry (Laurel) Wiese; daughters, Carleen (Dean) Lundquist, Kitty Ann Brooks, all of Tucson; and 12 grandchildren. Carl founded Wiese Painting in 1952 and opened Colorcraft, Inc. in 1954. He is Past President of Painters and Decorators of America, Arizona Chapter, a past member of First Southern Baptist Church and a current member of 22nd Street Baptist Church. Carl was very active in his church and was always helping with building and remodeling. One of his greatest joys was attending Christmas Eve services in the church sanctuary after it was remodeled.
