TRIMBLE, Charles Wayne, Born in New Brighton, PA July 25, 1945 and moved to Tucson in 1953, Wayne spent most of the last 42 years in Tucson. A graduate of Rincon High School in 1963, he worked in the food industry in Tucson for the last 20 years, the last 5 as Food and Beverage Manager at Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches. He passed away suddenly of heart failure Tuesday afternoon, September 5, 1995. Survivors include fiance C. J., parents Cliff and Dorothy, brother Cliff, Jr., sister Shirley, all of Tucson, sister Sandi of Waldorf, MD., children Charles, Jr. of Cheyenne, WY, Cheryl, Howard, Judi, Kandi, Linda, all of Tucson, the children's mother, Kathy of Tucson, grandchildren John 10, Thomas 9, Erika 8, all of Tucson, and many close friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 9th, 10:00 a.m. at Tucson Baptist Temple, 1525 S. Columbus Blvd. Following will be a 'Farewell to Wayne' at his home from 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m. at 5950 E. 32nd St. which is open to friends and family. GASPER, Eldridge, 64, native of Tucson, passed away September 4, 1995. Preceded in death by parents, Emilio and Josefita Eldridge; son, David Glenn. Survived by his wife, Angie Anaya Eldridge; son, Martin Emilio (Lupita) Eldridge; daughter, Evelyn Yvonne (Rick Hollander) Eldridge-Morris; grandchildren, Teodore M. Eldridge, Emilia G. Eldridge, Jason Glenn Morris and Barbara Ann Morris; cousins, Belen R. Ramirez, Alex Richards, Moses Richards, Bertha F. Esparza; beloved brother/friend of the Mares/Rodriguez family; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Gasper was a 22 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and was a member of 'Easy' Company, 13th Inf. Bn. USMCR. During the Korean Conflict he was awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart. He retired with the rank of the 1st. Sgt. Gasper was a life time member of Tucson Marine Corps League Detachment. He also was retired from Pima County Facilities Maintenance Dept. Electrical Division. Gasper will always be remembered by his family and friends for his music and his guitar. GOODWIN, Margaret C., 78, died September 4, 1995 in Tucson. She is survived by husband Bill, to whom she was married for 56 years; children, David and Scott of the Minneapolis area, Julie Lawton of Monument CO, and Nancy Farina of Tucson; and seven grandchildren. A recent resident of Tubac and Green Valley, Margaret Goodwin was originally from the Minneapolis area, where she was active in many community organizations. A Brownie and Girl Scout leader for two decades, she shared her love of nature and the out-of-doors, as well as her arts and crafts skills, with countless young women. In loving memory, the family has established the Margaret Conkey Goodwin Campership Fund, managed by The Minneapolis Foundation for the benefit of the Girl Scout Council of Greater Minneapolis. LOPEZ, Elias A. 'Lope', 74, passed away September 4, 1995. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emelina. Survived by daughter, Elsa Trevino; grandchildren, Monica, Doozer (Jessica) and Michael; great-grandchildren, Kristi, Arianna, Emelina and Baby Elias; sisters, Eva Otto, Helen (Joe) Robles and Rachael (Richard) Rendon; brothers, Jim (Toni) Lopez, Billy (Pamela) Lopez, Alfonzo (Beatrice) Lopez, Emilio (Isabel) Lopez and Lloyd (Mary) Lopez. He served in the U.S. Army, Rank S/Sargent, in World War II, the South Pacific Theatre invasion of Admirality Islands and received the Purple Heart with two oak leaf clusters and bronze star for bravery and valor, first cavalry division was first in Manila. He was a retired accountant of 32 1/2 years for Hughes Aircraft Company. Services will be held at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, Friday, September 8, 1995 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 9 at St. Monica's Church with procession following at South Lawn Cemetery. He was a very special man. A great father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all of us. We know he will live on in our hearts and very soon in his first great-grandson (Baby Elias) he unfortunately was not able to meet. We love you and take care of us.
MILLER, Arthur H., local attorney, recently retired from the law firm Duffield, Miller, Young, Adamson and Alfred, PC., died September 3, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Joy; his adult children, Matthew and Mindy; and by sisters, Ann Dolby of Scottsdale, Ruth Lang of Chicago, Dorothy Whitehurst of Indianapolis and Mildred Brown of Ft. CRAIG, Virginia Ann, 67, of Tucson, was called to rest with our Lord Savior on Sunday, September 3, 1995. Ginny, a loving, caring, and giving Christian woman is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Herman Lee Craig, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Ann Morrison of LaVerne, CA; son, Kenneth Allen Craig of Tucson; six brothers, four sisters-in-law; five grandchildren; four nieces; ten nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Ginny was a successful entrepreneur and a Board of Director for WIBC (Women's International Bowling Congress). She will be terribly missed by all who knew her.
