Also survived by special friend, Steven La Rue and many nieces and nephews, uncles and cousins. Also grandchildren, Jerry, Enriquez, Maricela, Robert, Tyler Bracamonte, and Christine, Monica Garcia; great grandchildren, Nickie, and Dimien Bracamonte. CASTRO, Sandra C., 43, died September 5, 1995. Survived by her mother, Cathaline Castro; daughter, Elizabeth Holguin; son, Andrew R. Holguin; sister, Amanda Vega; brothers, Oscar Macedo and Jesus Vega; niece, Veronica Quezada, all of Tucson. Also survived by many friends and relatives. DETTMAN, Fredrich A., a longtime home builder in Tucson, died Thursday morning, September 7, 1995 of natural causes at St. Joseph's Hospital. Dettman was 81. Dettman was a dairy farmer in Iowa prior to moving to Tucson in 1952. Five years later he established his own contracting company specializing in residential homes. Dettman worked as head of maintenance at Tucson Country Club before retiring in 1975. For the last 20 years he has enthusiastically pursued several hobbies which included woodworking, stained glass and building furniture. He gained great pleasure in giving his crafts to friends, family and his church. Dettman was a dedicated husband and loving father who was loved by everyone who knew him for his generosity, loving nature and great sense of humor. Dettman is survived by his wife, Ruth G.; son, Burdette J. of Tucson; daughters, Barbara J. Pickett of KY, Beverly J. Lawson of OH, Bette J. Croissant of UT, Bonnie J. Schlag of FL; sisters, Emma Dettman of IA, Evelyn Weisenborn of CO; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family asked that memorial donations be made to Spanish Trail Lutheran Church or Carondelet Hospice Unit. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 11 at Spanish Trail Lutheran Church, 8701 E. Old Spanish Trail. Graveside Service 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 11 at TMP, East Lawn, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

DIVELY, Don George, was born June 21, 1914, in Berlin, Pennsylvania and passed away suddenly on September 5, 1995, at St. Luke's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, after returning from a European tour. A Memorial Service will be held in the Sanctuary of Christ Church United Methodist, 655 N. Craycroft, on Sunday, September 10, 1995, at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall. He is survived by his beloved wife Virginia; daughter Joan Dively-Ashcraft; son-in-law David Ashcraft; and two grandsons, Christopher and Timothy. An outstanding clarinetist and saxophonist, Don played in professional dance orchestras as a young man. For many years, he was a sales representative for De Soto automobiles. Upon the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Don worked at Dravo Corporation, Neville Island, Pennsylvania, building landing crafts and destroyer escorts. After the war, the family moved to Tucson where he was the proprietor of Cactus Pharmacy and Variety Store until 1969. He subsequently worked for Lou Regester Furniture until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Black Dively. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Ashcraft/Clarke Music Fund at Christ Church United Methodist.

DOJAQUEZ, John M., 81, a resident of Tucson, died Friday, September 8, 1995. Survived by wife; eight daughters; 29 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters. Funeral Service 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave. Burial South Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

GARCIA, Benjamin N., August 12, 1920 – August 26, 1995, In loving memory of my father, and brother, Benjamin N. Garcia, we express and extend to our family, relatives and friends our warmest gratitude, love and appreciation for the outpouring of your love, kindness and affections; and in receiving us into your hearts. We now move forward with faith as we believe and follow the admonition of Paul – 'We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.' Survived by daughter, Teresa; and grandson, George Fewell III, both of Dallas, TX; brothers and sisters, Rudy N. Garcia (Betty), Arnold N. Garcia (Jean), Theresa G. Valenzuela, Josephine N. Spencer.

HYDER, Thomas Roger, a ten year resident of Sierra Vista and a 20 year resident of Tucson, passed away September 6, 1995 in Tucson, at the age of 63. Born August 9, 1932 in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Hyder is survived by his wife, of 36 years, Carole; son, Mark (Debbie) Hyder; two granddaughters. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday September 2, 1995 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Dr. Henry Wooten officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.

LEE, Josephine Ann Munoz, 39, passed away September 7, 1995. Beloved daughter of Robert and Guadalupe Munoz, also survived by her children, Clarinda, Jessica, Robert, Regina, Michael, and grandson Christopher George Cruz. Will be missed dearly by all her family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 1995 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., at TUCSON MORTUARY, (North Chapel). Mass will be offered on Monday September 11, 1995 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral Church. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.

MANSPEAKER, Irving C., 76, of Tucson, died September 6, 1995. Survivors include two daughters, Melinda (Ronald) Curry of Austin, TX, Deborah (Robert) Weiss of Tucson; grandchildren, Patrick, Eileen, Adam, Devin, Amanda. Irving was a longtime Tucson resident. SCHROEDER, Margaret, passed away in Tucson, AZ on September 6, 1995. Preceded in death by parents, Emma Schmoekel Schroeder (1970), Roman Ulrich Schroeder (1931); sister, Delores Irene Schroeder, dying in infancy; an aunt and uncles. Survived by several cousins and many friends. Margaret was born in Baraboo, WI where Ringling Bros. began their circus. Margaret was very fond of them. She graduated from High School in Chicago and attended the University of Chicago. Was employed by Western Union in the mid-west. Margaret resided in Madison, Chicago, and Milwaukee prior to making Tucson, AZ her home in 1950. She was employed as a bookkeeper at El Rancho Food Store. During the 1970's, Margaret did amateur clowning for Tucson and was known as Marki, 'Queen of the Clowns'. When Ringling Bros. Circus was in Tucson performing, Margaret was the honorable Ring Master. As was always her wish for others, we know she will have a 'Happy Forever'. Services scheduled for Monday, September 11, 1995 at First United Methodist Church, 915 E. 4th St., Tucson, AZ. Visitation 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Service 1:00, interment immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.

ABEL, C. Thomas, Jr., 2nd Lt. U.S. Army, 101, died September 5, 1995. Husband of Virginia Abel; father of Eloise Brown of CA; and grandfather of three grandsons and one granddaughter. He was with the American Legion Brannon Post in New York for 70 years. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

BRITTAIN, Violet 'Vicky', 75, died August 28, 1995 in Carrollton, TX. Preceded in death by husband, John A. Brittain. Mother of Sandra C. Hood of TX, James A. Walsh and John Walsh, both of England; grandmother of Tamra L. Rosick-Carlson of Tucson, Barbara A. Fisher, Patricia J. Taylor, Sandra C. Walsh, all of England, Jacob W. and Jeffrey C. Hood, both of TX; great-grandmother of Lief Carlson of Tucson, Patrick, Kimberly and Laurence Fisher and Rebecca Taylor, all of England. Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, with Dr. Wayne North officiating. Vicky was born in England and lived in Tucson for over 27 years. She battled cancer for over a year. She was loved by everyone who knew her for her courageous spirit, loving nature and great sense of humor. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. COLEMAN, Thomas Philip, Brig. Gen., U.S.A.F., ret., 77, of Tucson, died Tuesday, September 5, 1995. Survived by his wife, Ann Marie Coleman; daughter, Ann Hyland of Alexandria, VA; son, Bob Coleman of West Covina, CA; sister, Kathleen Powers of Vienna, VA; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Friday, September 8, 1995 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5150 N. Valley View Rd.
