EAMES, Bruce George, 45, died September 10, 1995. Survived by his wife, Mary E. Eames of Tucson; stepdaughter, Candice Frazier of CA; mother, Vilate Eames of ID; sisters, Carolyn Floyd of ID and Linda Morris of UT; niece, Michelle Romney of UT; mother-in-law, Eleanor Greathouse of CA. Mr. Eames was a long time member of the Old Pueblo Bass Anglers, recipient of many awards including the Old Pueblo Bass Master Award. He was a former member of the Dell Norte Bass Club. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Old Pueblo Big Brothers-Big Sisters Fund, 9430 E. Golf Links Rd., #212, Tucson 85730. Funeral Service 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL with Pastor David Poedel officiating. Interment to take place in Preston, Idaho. ECCLES, Ernie J., 36, of Tucson, died September 7, 1995. Survived by father, Jerry; brothers, Earl and Jay, all of Tucson; mother, Ellie of Albany, NY; aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews in various locations across the US. Ernie was a metal fabricator extraordinaire and enjoyed outdoor activities. Memorial Service Saturday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Community Church, 7801 E. Kenyon Dr., corner of Kenyon and Pantano.

FIMBRES, Ricardo V., 74 of Nogales, AZ passed away September 7, 1995. Survived by his wife, Guadalupe Fimbres; Parent, Amelia Valdez; daughters, Edna Fisher, Gracie Fimbres, Ana Fimbres, Manuela Fimbres, Susan Hoyos; sons, Ricardo Jr. Javier Fimbres, Jose Luis Fimbres, Eusebio Fimbres; sister Elvira Lowe, Brothers, Augustine Cardiel, Alberto Cardiel. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11, 1995 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (Center Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral with interment at Holy Hope Cemetery.

Also survived by aunts, Mrs. Betty (Clough) Venabley of Louisville, KY., Mrs. Moc Aronson of PA; cousins, Bill (Cleo) Merritt of AZ., Burt (Chessie) Douglas of OH; nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Joan) Curd of CA., Lois (Ed) Stratton of Tucson. Preceded in death by her father, Samuel Grant Johnson; mother, Olla Kay Peters Johnson; sisters, Virginia Johnson and Dorothy Curd; and uncle, Douglas Johnson. JANKE, Arthur and Josephine, both of Tucson. Survived by one son, Ronald Janke of Valparaiso, Indiana; one daughter, Luann Sommer of Naperville, IL; and five grandchildren. LARSON, Jason Andrew, 14 years old, died Sunday, September 10, 1995. He has been an Arizona resident for 13 years. He was a student at Highland High School in Mesa. Survivors include parents, Ted and Rosa; sister, Deanna, all of Mesa; grandmother, Ramona Pasmino; grandparents, Leroy (Mary) Larson, both of Tucson. LAWSON, Rollie E., 47, passed away after a lengthy illness in Riverside, CA on September 6, 1995. Survived by one son, William Kent Griffith of Tucson; mother, Dorothy Lawson of Tucson; brother, Larry Lee Lawson of Apache Junction; sisters, Ronna Hartman of Tucson and Rosemary Cobb of Colquitt, GA. LEHMANN, S. Claire, (Ret. Red Cross Nurse), 105, of Tucson, born in Cresco, Iowa November 18, 1889, passed away Sunday, September 10, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred William and her son, Bill. Mrs. Lehmann is survived by her daughter, Alice Nelson and daughter-in-law, Karell Lehmann; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Claire, a college graduate, pioneered nursing prior to 1915 in Tennessee and taught nursing in the 20's. Graveside Services 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 1995 at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. MACAFEE, Kenneth J., 91, of Tucson, died September 10, 1995. Survived by wife, Ruth; son, Wallace (Glenda) of Tucson; daughter, Barbara (LeWayne) White of Glendale; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Frick of Long Beach, CA. MCAULEY, James Francis, born July 10, 1910 in Scotland. Beautiful baby boy of Peter and Bridget, loving husband of Edna, cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews, loyal friend and revered teacher of Susana and Howard and blessed buddy of all the angels. Welcome home, Jimmy. Enjoy the cheeseburgers in Paradise!

MCCARTER, Robert W., PhD, 94, (born January 1, 1901), a resident of Tucson, died Friday, September 8, 1995. Once listed in Who's Who in American Education, Dr. McCarter's long and distinguished careers in the fields of science, medicine and education have brought him accolades and recognition throughout the academic community. Dr. Robert was also awarded Life Teaching Credentials in the States of Pennsylvania and California. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dr. Elizabeth D. McCarter. Together, the Drs. McCarter have authored over 40 health research studies and lessons now used by students in 38 countries. Dr. Robert was co-owner and director of the Bionomics Health Research Institute, which has been licensed in Arizona for over 15 years. He will be remembered with love by three generations of nieces and nephews in California, Virginia and Kentucky. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. with Tucson Masonic Sojourners officiating at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N. 1st Ave., (888-1111).

ORTEGA, Angelina (Nona), 71, of Tucson and formerly of Douglas, passed away September 11, 1995. Survived by husband, Federico; daughter, Olga (Luis) Rivas of Downey, CA; son, Rene (Sherri) Sanchez of Odessa, TX; grandchildren, Nancy, Louie Jr. and Melita Rivas and Dusty Sanchez; great-grandson, Louie Rivas III; sisters, Celia (Nano) Salazar of Douglas, Norma Llamas of Tucson; brothers, Efrain (Rosa) Valdez of Douglas and Humberto (Dolores) Valdez of West Covina, CA; many nieces and nephews. Survived by loving wife of 51 years, Maria Salgado; sons, Raul Jr. (Olivia), Rudy (Hilda), Raymond (Joan); and daughter, Bertha (Gilbert); also survived by brothers, Herb Salgado and Jesus Salgado; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; many other relatives and friends. TINERVIN, Dr. William C., of Bloomington, IL and a winter resident of Tucson, died Wednesday, August 30, 1995 in Bloomington. He is survived by his wife, Melba; two daughters, Jill and Linda; one son, Jeffrey; one sister, Lois Monyhan, Tucson; two brothers, Eugene (Bud), CA and Thomas, Tucson; and six grandchildren. Dr. Tinervin was a retired dentist and real estate developer. He was a veteran of WWII and was awarded five Campaign Ribbons with four Battle Stars as a member of the US Army Air Corps.

BEAL, Arthur Frederick, Sr., 75 years old, died Thursday, September 7th, 1995. He was an area resident for 45 years and a WWII Veteran. Survivors include wife, Lillian; sons, Arthur, Jr., Duncan (Deborah); daughters, Loretta (Edwin) Snell, Claudia Ann Beal, Cynthia Lorraine Kay; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, all of Tucson; brothers, George (Peggy) of Atlanta, GA; Walter of IL; sister, Elizabeth Hagberg of MA. Mr. Beal retired from Hughes Aircraft and A.D.O.T. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Aaron #49 and Eastern Star. The family held private services. BERGEN, William I., 84, died September 8, 1995. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret M. Bergen. Survived by his daughters, Billie B. Hardy of Tucson, Alice Humphreys of TX; brother of, Martha Dawn Friess of OH; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
