MANSELL, Norma H., born December 4, 1915, died peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 1995. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra M. (Arnold R.) Richmond; her son, Charles H. (Iva Jean) Mansell; grandchildren, Rachel and Jonathan Richmond and Katrina, Charles (Lori) and Stephen Mansell; brother, Norman (Ruth) Hershey; and sister, Marian (Delmar) Lichty, great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany and Bryan. A brief Graveside Service will be held 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 6 at Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Temple Emanu-El prayer book fund, 225 N. Country Club Rd., Tucson, AZ 85716 or the charity of your choice. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

MEJIA, David Paul, 37, died October 2, 1995. He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Marianne Hypko of Germany; his parents, Inge and Eugene of Tucson; his aunts, Gretel Moody of Hartsville, SC and Eva O'Connor of Tucson, AZ; and many cousins. David was a native of Tucson and a 1975 graduate of Catalina High School. His family wishes to thank his many friends and supporters, particularly his physician and other medical care providers for their unstinting kindness and aid over the course of David's extended illness. An informal gathering will be held at David's fathers home Thursday, October 5 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of services, memorial contributions may be made to PACT, TAP, Shanti Foundation and the AIDS Walk `95.

PUTNAM, Esther Lois, 77, of Tucson, AZ, died October 3, 1995. Mrs. Putnam taught at Lynn Elementary School from 1961 to 1983 and was a member of Catalina American Baptist Church. She is survived by daughter, Lois Esther (Bob) Putnam-Krauss of NY, NY; sons, Ken E. (Sandy) Putnam of Redding, CA, Jim A. (Audrey) Putnam of Arlington, WA and Glenn D. (Sharon) Putnam Goodlove of San Diego, CA; 10 grandchildren; brother, Dan (Evelyn) Hoy of Arlington, WA; sisters, Elizabeth Steen of Arlington, WA, Ruth (Frank) Tooth of Calgary, Alberta. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7 at Catalina Baptist Church, 1900 N. Country Club Rd. Tucson, AZ 85716. Pastor William Leroy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Catalina Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.

ROBERTS, Chuck J., 36, of Tucson, died October 3, 1995. Survivors include: parents, Charles and Donna Roberts of Richmond, VT; brother, George M. of MI, David D. of NC; and his many friends at Arizona Bank. SHEALY, Forrest E., Jr., 65, of Tucson, died October 2, 1995. Survived by wife, Chris; daughters, Michelle (Robert), Yvonne, Bettina (Andy); sons, Patrick (Lenora); grandchildren, Melissa, Daniel, Kaleena, Paul, Andrew, Brandon, Ashley, Amanda, Michael, Brett; mother, Louise; and brother, Donald (Dot). ALEXANDER, Delores M., 76, born March 22, 1919 in Youngstown, OH, passed away October 1, 1995 in Phoenix, AZ. Survived by sons, Roy (Kay) Alexander and Michael (Joan) Alexander; and daughter, Patricia (Ronald) Watterworth; brothers, Albert and Richard Mogg; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews residing in Ohio also survive. Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 1995 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Interment will be private. Contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

ARRIAGA, Yvonne Marie 'Bonnie', age 42 years, died on her birthday, Saturday, September 30, 1995. She was a life long resident of Arizona. Survivors include son, Matthew Joseph Arriaga; daughter, Josephine Marie Arriaga; parents, Manuel L. (Alice R.) Romero; brother, Manuel (Caroline) Romero; sisters, Sandra (Steve) Kelly, Georgiana Wymore, Rose Jackson, Michelle Gallagher, all are of Tucson; her beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial Services are to be held Thursday, October 5, 1995 at 3:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave.

COPSON, Gladys M., 89, a 50 year resident of Tucson and Sierra Vista, passed away Sunday, October 1, 1995. Survived by son, William H. (Jane) of Tucson; daughter, Betty Jean (Ralph) Gregg of Tempe; one grandson, Keith (Susan) Gregg; and brother, Earl Berry of Mammoth Spring, AR. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 740 E. Speedway.

DOLLE, Melvin, who trusted in Jesus Christ as his savior and giver of eternal life, joined his family in heaven on October 2, 1995. He was born in San Antonio, TX on June 9, 1907 to Fritz Dolle and Louise Anderlich Dolle, and was also proceeded in death by two brothers, Oscar and Alfred; and his wife Ouida Long Dolle. He served his country in the Aleutian Islands as a Navy Seabee during WWII. He served his community as a member of the Buena Park California School Board during the early 1950's and as a member of the Masonic Lodge. In 1963 he retired from the Unocal Wilmington Oil Refinery and later moved to Prescott, AZ where he was active in the Newcomers and the Prescott First Baptist Church. He is survived by his son-in-law, Joe Dial; daughter, Arrah Dolle Dial; and grandchildren, Anne, Matt, and David. A Memorial Service will be held at First Evangelical Free Church at 4700 N. Swan, at 10:00 a.m., October 7, 1995. The family requests that any memorials be given to St. Mary's Hospice in Tucson. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee.

Atkins of Tucson, Michelle Sweet of Mayer, AZ; stepmother of Richard G. Marker of Canton, OH and Linda Marker of Tucson; four grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL Thursday, October 5 at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Henry Wooten officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Diabetes Association. NICHOL, Vida, 85, beloved by her family and friends went to be with the Lord October 1, 1995. Member of Casa Adobes Baptist Church. She was a retired registered nurse and a great example and encouragement to all who knew her. We would like to thank everyone who cared so lovingly for Vida during her illness. Survived by two sons and their wives, J. Carlton and Pam Nichol Jr., Seattle, WA, Eugene Robert and Juanell Nichol, Tucson, AZ; one daughter and her husband, Barbara Anne and Donald C. Randall, El Paso, TX; 19 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday in El Paso, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Casa Adobes Baptist Church, Attn. Gayla Strong, in Tucson. Arrangements by Hudgel's SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan.

NICKEL, Gigi, 79, died Sunday, October 1, 1995 at the Family Hospice Care Unit near Northwest Hospital. She suffered with endometrial cancer. She is survived by her husband, Tom; son, Jack of Port Angeles, WA; and her mother-in-law, Ethel. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 8 at 5:00 p.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 60 W. Veterans Way.

NORDSTROM, Keith Douglas, 46, a resident of Tucson for several years passed away September 27, 1995. He as born March 30, 1949 in Cottonwood, AZ. Survivors are his daughter, Jennifer (Matt) Goosie of Zion, IL; his parents, Douglas and Alice Nordstrom; one brother, Richard (Theresa) Nordstrom of Tucson; and two sisters, Doreen (Ralph) Campbell of Henderson, NV and Susan (William) Loeper of Bristol, WI; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

OSBORNE, Homer H., 66, his wife Linda 52, and three other passengers, Joel Herzog 41 and his two sons Adam 13 and Seth 11, were killed when the plane Osborne was flying crashed on September 24, 1995 near Pueblo, CO. They were returning to Colorado Springs from a tennis tournament in Las Vegas, NV. He was an experienced, instrument rated pilot. Mr. Osborne was born January 26, 1929, in Globe, AZ, to Earl and Ruth Osborne now deceased. His brother, Earl Dean 74, died four days before him on September 20, 1995. His sister, Mary Ellen McArthur of Tucson, survives. The Osbornes are an Arizona pioneer family where his father was a cattle rancher and Indian trader. Homer had the Fresnal Ranch in Arivaca and the Eureka near Bonita, Arizona before moving to Colorado Springs in 1965 where he owned a feed lot near Pueblo. Mr. Osborne graduated from Globe High School and the University of Arizona with a degree in Agriculture and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He leaves a daughter, Donna Murray of Sierra Vista, Arizona; a son, Clay of Flower, Colorado; and four grandchildren. He and Linda were married in 1992 and she leaves a son, Shane Smith of Colorado Springs. Memorial Services were held in Colorado Springs on Friday, September 29.

RAMIREZ, Enrique V., 72, of Nogales, passed away October 2, 1995. Survived by wife, Delia Ramirez of Tucson; mother, Dolores Ramirez of San Diego, CA; son, Henry Ramirez of Tucson; daughters, Lydia Ramirez Bojorquez of Tucson, Marisela (Jesus) Gaytan of Tucson, Alma (Jose) Cano of Atlanta, GA, Lolita (Harry) Castano of Tucson, Irene Ramirez of Tucson; son, Hector Ramirez of Tucson; daughter, Emma Ramirez of Tucson; brother, Luis Ramirez; sisters, Eva Angelina Verdugo, Emma Ramirez, Gloria Hernandez, Herminia Ramirez, Elba Nivia Wong, Migdalia Ramirez; grandchildren, Melissa Rozalynda, Alfonso Jr., Jesse, Vanessa, Stephanie, Xanadue, Denise, Zelyna, Ricky, Daniel, Gabriel, Marcos, Monika, Gaby, C.C., Hector, Kylie, Andres. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 5, 1995 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at HEATHER MORTUARY, 1040 N. Columbus. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be said Friday 10:00 a.m. at St. Monica's Catholic Church, 212 W. Medina. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

ROYBAL, Larry F., Jr., 50, passed away in Tucson on Monday, October 2, 1995. He was born in Bagdad, Arizona on June 21, 1945 and later attended the schools in San Manuel, graduating from the high school in 1965. Mr. Roybal worked for ASARCO for 21 years as a crane operator mostly, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed music and made and sold audio tapes. Mr. Roybal is survived by five sons; and one daughter, Larry of Phoenix, Jerry with the U.S. Navy in Japan, Ernest of Tucson, Bobby and Fred of Mammoth and Maria of Tucson. His parents, Lalo J. and Claudia G. Roybal of Oracle also survive along with two brothers, Fred of San Manuel and John of Kingman; and three sisters, Anna of Holbrook and Dorothy and Michelle of Tucson. A Vigil and Rosary Service will be conducted Wednesday, October 4 at St. Helens Catholic Church in Oracle at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Don Jackson at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 5 also at St. Helens. Interment will then follow at Valley View Cemetery in Mammoth. Griffith Mortuary of Kearny handled the arrangements.

SIMONS, Henry W., 69, of Tucson, died October 1, 1995. Survived by wife, Setsuko Simons; sons, William Henry Simons of Pearce, AZ and Barry Martin Simons of Maricopa, AZ; grandchildren, Rebecca Beal, William M. Simons, and Gregory J. Simons; great grandson, Tanner H. Simons; step-son, Danny W. Walsh of Tucson; step-daughter, Lilly C. Bayus of CO; step-grandchildren, Danny T. Walsh and Marisa T. Bayus. Family graveside service was held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
