GONZALES, Eddie Albert, 38, passed away October 15, 1995. Survived by his parents, Eddie and Connie Gonzales; his sister, Diane Johnson; brother, Charles Gonzales and other family members. Born in Denver, CO. Taught Latin and ballroom dancing in Tucson for 18 years. A Mass service will beheld at St. Pius X Church at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 7651 E. Pima, followed by an open 'Celebration of Life' reception on the terrace at La Paloma Resort, 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, The Eddie Albert Memorial Fund has been set up with Norwest Bank, 7171 E. REID, Naomi Erickson, 80, of Tucson, passed away Monday, October 16, 1995. Mrs. Reid was born in 1915 and raised in Chicago, IL., graduating from the University of Illinois in Champaigne. She married Lawrence S. Reid in 1942 and pioneered to Tucson in 1955. Throughout the years in Tucson, she was active in numerous activities including: Tucson Medical Center Auxiliary, Chairwoman of the Tucson Follies, Assistance League of Tucson, Tucson Symphony Auxiliary, member of Alpha X Delta Sorority, Republican Party Worker, member of American Society of Travel Agents, Girl Scout Leader, member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Tohono Chul Park Volunteer, and Ice Cat supporter. With her husband, Larry Reid, she formed Small World Travel, Inc. An avid traveler, she visited six continents via land, plane, train, hot air balloon and ship. Despite a variety of medical setbacks over the past several years, Naomi met life with open arms. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence S. Reid and grand-dog, Curly. Survived by daughters, Barbara Bennett of San Diego, Nancy Reid of Tucson, Gale (David) Light of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; four grandchildren, Frank and Brooke Bennett and Morgan and L.D. Light. Also survived by a sister in Minneapolis; a brother in Chicago; numerous nieces and nephews; and a legacy of touching the lives of all she knew. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 1995 a St. Andrews Presbyterian Church with Barbara Smith officiating. Remembrances may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or Tohono Chul Park. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.

REPINE-ROUSH, Bonnie Lee, 44, died Tuesday, October 17, 1995. Survived by husband, Michael J. Roush; father, Charles E. Repine; sister, Audrey Felzer; and brother, David Repine. Bonnie was currently a mental health counselor for the Carondelet Health Care, and formerly with the Tupperware distributor for many years. Also a member of the Arizona Air National Guard. SWARTZ, Martin (Marty), 85, died October 1, 1995 in Scranton, PA. Survived by two sisters, Helen and Evelyn Swartz of Temple Hills, MD; several nieces and nephews. Member of the V.F.W. and D.A.V. Services were held in Scranton, PA.

BATMAN, Robert J., 66, died October 15, 1995. Father of Rebecca Boetto of TX and Laurel Batman of OR; brother of Peggy Johnston of CA. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Batman of CA. DRESHER, Regina, 89, of Tucson, died October 16, 1995, after a prolonged illness. She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Dresher. Survivors include daughters, Lillian Rosenzweig and Sidnie (Walter) Feit; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Andrea) Low, Alexandra Feit and Paul Feit; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Allison and Hillary Low. She was born in Poland and emigrated to the United States as a bride in 1927, living in New Jersey until 1960, then residing in Tucson and Los Angeles before making Tucson her permanent home 1976. She was a Life Member of Brandeis University National Women's Committee and Hadassah. Services 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18 EVERGREEN MORTUARY, with Rabbi Arthur R. Oleisky officiating. Interment Congregation Anshei Israel Section of Evergreen Cemetery, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

FOSTER, Margaret Mary, 84, of Tucson, died October 16, 1995. Survivors include brother, Robert C. Foster of England; sister, Violet Cameron. HOFFERBER, Donald Dean, Sr., 53, of Tucson, passed away October 14, 1995. Survived by wife, Arlene; daughters, Paula (Frank) Rodriguez, Jr., Sandra (Jeff) Gilliespie; sons, Donald Hofferber, Jr., Edward McIntire; and step-son, Nathan Snook; mother, Eva Lynn (Art) Choiniere; grandfather, Floyd 'Fats' Harrison, Sr.; sister, Jeanette Thompson; brothers, Ralph Hofferber, Dennis (Faye) Burress; uncle, Floyd W. Harrison, Jr.; seven grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 13750 Cave Creek, in Phoenix on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Memorial service will be held at Veteran's Hospital Chapel in Tucson on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

NEHRMEYER, Freddie William, 67, of Oracle, AZ, died October 17, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Joy J.; daughters, Kathy Miller (Jerry), Brenda Bryant (Steve); sons, Fred 'Sonny' Jr. (Kathy Jean), Leonard (Edna); grandchildren, Joey (Farrell), Daniel, Fred, Matthew, and Tori; great-grandchild, Annmarie, three sisters, Aliene Watson, Lorien Chapman, Marie Caulkins; brother, Buster Cross. He was an active church member, serving throughout the years as a founding member, builder, and Sunday School Superintendent of the Oracle, San Manuel, and Mammoth Assembly of God Churches. Hobbies included farming, hunting, fishing, being a Boy Scout leader, and wonderful husband, father and family man. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. PIERCE, John Holden, 83, of Tucson, formerly of San Manuel, died October 15, 1995. Survived by wife, Prudence 'Jay'; daughter, Suzanne (Fred) Hawk of Tucson; son, Glenn (Tommi) Pierce of Mesa; and three much loved grandchildren, John, Kara, Devon; sister, Marvel Rogers of CA; brother, Eugene (Gladys) Pierce of CA. Mr. Pierce was a charter member of San Manuel Elks Lodge No. 2007. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. BARRETT, Evelyn E., was born August 19, 1904, in Kennan, WI to Thomas and Julia Ryan Barrett. Preceded in death by sister, Catherine Barrett Wallrich, brother-in-law, Henry and niece Judith Wallrich Perry. She is survived by nephew, Thomas Wallrich, wife, Jane and great nephews Nicholas and Luke Wallrich, all of Burnsville, MN. Also survived by her great and dear friend Stella Coulter of Tucson. Evelyn died on Saturday, October 14, 1995. She retired to Tucson in 1967 after a distinguished career as a teacher, 25 years principal of The Hancock Elementary School in St. Paul, MN and several years as the principal in the United States schools in Japan, Germany and France. Her career culminated as the assistant superintendent of the U.S. schools in Spain and North Africa. After her retirement Evelyn continued teaching at St. Joseph's and the Santa Rosa Papago Indian Reservation. She and her friend Stella set up a library for the Tucson chapter of Right to Life. Evelyn received her B.A. from the River Falls State Teacher's College, River Falls, WI and her Master's degree from the University of Minnesota. She was member of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority. Evelyn traveled the world and her great interest were other cultures and life styles. She often gave an Irish toast: 'Here's to you and you and you, may you live to be one hundred; but may I live to be one hundred less one day, for what's the use of living when one's friends have gone away.' Memorial Service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 1995 at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway). Memorials preferred to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 215 South Craycroft Road, Tucson, Arizona.

BAUMAN, Edith Ruth, (formerly Edith R. Hale), 66, died Saturday, October 14, 1995 after a prolonged illness. Survivors include her son, David D. Hale Jr.; daughters, Donna and Sandy Hale; and her grandchildren. Edith sacrificed much for those she loved and had great compassion for everyone. She taught us a great deal throughout our lives and in the end she taught us to die gallantly. Edith desired no ceremony. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to Family Hospice Care, 3838 N. Campbell, Tucson, AZ 85719.
