VIHTELIC, Miriam, 63, passed away July 28, 1995. Wife of Albin Vihtelic of Tucson; sister of, Louise Randolph (Cortez) of Tucson. Three nephews also survive. A resident of Tucson since 1969, Miriam was born in Culver, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Edna Obenauf. Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 1995 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd. Burial to follow at Tucson Memorial Park East Lawn. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of one's choice. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1st, 1995 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

CATCHINGS, Mary K., 85, passed away peacefully at her home on July 28, 1995. Mary was born in Tombstone, AZ., to William 'Pink' Murray and Cora Sayre Murray. Like Tombstone, Mary was 'Too Tough to Die' and fought hard to stay with all those who loved her so very much. She loved her family, the tradition of the southwest and her dogs Pee Wee and Pepper. It is difficult to bid goodbye to her, but we know she finally has the rest she deserves and all those who loved her will try to find comfort in this. She was a gracious lady and a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sons, James J. Catchings of Tucson, William T. Catchings of Phoenix and her daughters, Patricia Callas and Mrs. Pauline Redondo of Tucson, and Mrs. Stephanie Ford, Mrs. Leota Damiani and Mrs. Joanne Knight of Phoenix. Also surviving her are 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Sweet dreams Mary. We all loved you so much. Visitation will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), August 1st, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2nd, followed by burial at East Lawn Cemetery. Local arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

FOGLTANCE, Mildred R., 78, of Tucson, died July 29, 1995. Survived by husband, Charles; daughter, Sally (Spence) Engle of Tucson; sons, Lt. Col. U.S.A.F. Jerry (Bonnie) Germany, James (Marilyn) of Tucson; sister, Florence Smith of NJ; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Millie had two ministries of love for the Lord. Music, being church organist and pianist both at First Baptist Church and later at El Camino Baptist Church. Women's ministries at El Camino was her other love. She devoted many years as teacher of women's Bible study and director of women's retreats city wide. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Burial will follow in East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Women Missionary Fellowship, care of El Camino Baptist Church, 7777 E. Speedway Blvd., Tucson, 85710.

GOODHARTZ, Sima Beth, 48, of Tucson, died July 29, 1995. Survived by twin sister, Dot Jones and brother-in-law John Jones; sister, Nat Goodhartz and sister-in-law Kathy Weber; many loving friends and relatives and faithful cat Polly. She was a Special Education teacher, and loved Contra dancing, mule riding and Bluegrass music. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the M.S. Society or the Hermitage No Kill Cat Shelter, P.O. Box 13508, Tucson, 85732. Services were held Sunday evening at East Lawn Palms Mortuary.

KESSLER, Elizabeth Lois, 92, of Tucson, died July 28, 1995. Survivors include, sister, Mildred H. Moore (C. Harrison Moore) of Tucson; niece, Lois Minnich of Lykens, PA. Memorial will be at St. Philip's in the Hills, River Rd. at Campbell at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 1995, with Rev. Gail Freeman officiating. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

LAMIE, Marie L., 71, of Tucson, died July 21, 1995. Born August 30, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA. Member of Loyal Order of Moose, F.O.E. and V.F.W. Auxiliaries. Survived by loving husband, Richard J. Lamie; son, David Lamie of Redford Township, MI; daughters, Ellen Woods, Donna Blackwell both of Detroit, MI., Sheila Cavin of Lincoln Park, MI., Norma Doxtator of Nelson, B.C.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Richard J. Lamie, Jr., and brother, Phillip Schutte. Services were held in Taylor, MI., and she was laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, MI. Local arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY.

LEHN, Jean A., 72, of Tucson, died July 28, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Amy; daughter, Barbara Lehn of St. Paul, MN; granddaughter, Anne Lehn; sister, Marion Currie of Long Beach, CA; step-children, Gayle Moyle of Bismark, ND., Denis Johnson of Venice, CA., Curtis Johnson of Bismark, ND; five step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. Mr. Lehn was a very active volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, at 10:00 a.m. at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd., (1 1/2 blocks North of Grant.) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Volunteer Services of St. Joseph Hospital. Directed by VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 327-6341.

MADRID, Gilbert E., 44, of Tucson, passed away July 29, 1995. Survived by sisters, Gloria Madrid, Mary (Hewett) Stewart Madrid. Also survived by nieces, Cindy, Christine, Megan, Olivia; nephews, Edgar, Rudy, Ramon and Bella. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 1995 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (North Chapel), 204 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

MARTZ, Louise Reichling, 94, of Tucson, passed away July 28, 1995. Born May 29, 1901 in Whittier, CA. Preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Martz and their son, Bill. Survived by daughter, Betty and son-in-law Roy Quinn of Tucson; granddaughter, Leslie McCormick; grandsons, Richard and Roy, his wife Keen; seven great-grandchildren, Sean, Shea, Kathryn, Meghan, Molly, Kirsten, Carolyn and her dear friend and care giver Martha Perez. Louise was born in Whittier, CA. Louise spent her childhood on her family's English Walnut Ranch. She completed two years at USC, commuting by street car every day until she met her husband. They moved to Tucson in 1935. Mr. and Mrs. Martz celebrated 53 years of marriage. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 2, at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. There will be a short service at Brings Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Graveside Services at Rose Hill, Whittier, CA. Mrs. Martz will be laid to rest beside her husband and son. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL. Nana was very special and will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends.

NOLAN, Jean H., 79 years old, died Friday, July 28, 1995. She was an area resident for 15 years. Her husband, John Nolan, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Cox of Red Bank, NJ; three nieces, Mary Ellen Boerner of Arvada, CO, Gail Speer of Pensacola, FL, and Martha Reedy of Truckee, CA; three grandnieces and two great grandnieces. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.

OESTERLING, Frank T., 44, of Tucson, died Sunday, July 30, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Sheree Oesterling (Cooper); two sons, Scott and Frank Jr., three daughters, Maggie, Heather, and Hailey; mother, Ann Oesterling of PA; sister, Janet of NJ; brother, Paul Oesterling of PA. He was a former Pima County Sheriff's Deputy. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 1995 with a Rosary being said at 7:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee. Burial will follow in Bellefonte, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

TATMAN, Leland, 74, died July 28, 1995. Survivors include wife, Marojean of Tucson; son, Donovan (Terry) Tatman of Tucson; sisters, Maybelle Pierce and Joann Roach of London, OH; grandsons, Joshua and Kyle Tatman of Tucson. Mr. and Mrs. Tatman were married January 23, 1942 and have resided in AZ since 1943. Mr. and Mrs. Tatman were founders and members of the Tucson Messenger Gospel Group in 1968. The group is still together. Mr. Tatman passed away in Vinita, OK., while on tour with the group. VOSS, James J., 85, of Tucson, died July 29, 1995. Survivors include, one daughter, Carol (Elias) Aranda; one grandson, Don Aranda; three brothers and four sisters in the Chicago area. James was preceded in death by his wife, Rose and son, Jack. James moved to Tucson in 1954 and began working as an auto mechanic with the Rollins car dealership, after which he was employed with L.M. White as a heavy equipment mechanic until his retirement in 1977. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 1995. Funeral Services will be at Dodge Chapel at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 1995, with Pastor Ed McCallum officiating. WILBER, Lorna Belle, 78, of Tucson, died July 29, 1995. Survived by her husband, Orian W. Wilber, Sr.; children, Orian W. Wilber, Jr., of Rochester, NY., David R. Wilber, of Tucson, AZ., Walter J. Wilber of Casa Grande, AZ., Harold L. Wilber of Syracuse, NY., Janet L. Holmgren of La Fayette, NY; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by Michael R. Wilber. Mrs. Wilber had worked as a nurse with the Van Duyn Nursing Home for 17 years. She moved to Tucson from Syracuse, NY., upon retiring in 1977. Mrs. Wilber died at home after a long illness. Donations may be made to the Carondelet Hospice Services. Memorial Services, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

WOODS, Harry K., 74, died Saturday, July 29, 1995. Survived by wife, Dorothy; son, Kenneth (Elizabeth); two grandchildren all of Tucson. Mr. Woods retired from Hughes Aircraft after 34 years. Services by South Lawn Mortuary.

KEAGLE, Clarence E., Jr. 63, of Tucson, died Wednesday, July 26, 1995 after a long period of illness. Survivors include wife, Sylvia of Tucson; sons, Steve of Tucson, Chuck of WA, Bill of CO, Dean of IN and Howard Dougherty of IN; step-son, Stephen Thompson of Tucson; step-daughter, Robin Ptak of NY; eight grandchildren. Memorial Service will be at American Legion Post #36, 5845 E. 22nd St. Sunday, July 30, 1995 with Chaplain Harry Wineinger officiating. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

LEMONS, Joseph P., 80, took his last flight on Thursday, July 27, 1995 after a brief illness. Survived by his wife, Mary Lou Lemons of 53 years; son, John E. Lemons; grandchildren, Ryan and Joey and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie; sister, Catherine and brothers, William and Charles. Joseph was born July 16, 1915 in Johnson, AZ to an Arizona pioneer family involved in the mining business. He grew up in Tombstone and Phoenix, where he graduated from Phoenix College. He entered the Army Air Corps in October 1940 and attended Aircraft Mechanics School before being assigned to flight training. Later he was sent to England to study fighter tactics and then assigned as a flight leader in the Aleutians Islands. In the 1950s he flew the KC-97 that conducted the first air refueling of a B-52 aircraft. And later was involved in the installation of the Minute Man Missiles. He was a member of the American Legion, P-40 Fighter Pilots Association and the Cadet Class 42-B Association. At his request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Casa de los Ninos, or any children association. The family wishes to thank the Hospice Staff for the excellent care and assistance. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd.

McLAUGHLIN, O. Virginia, 71, of Tucson died July 26, 1995. Preceded in death by husband Charles, father Harry and son David. Survived by mother, Nellie Liming, Jacksonville, Il. Sons, Steve (Carlene), Richard (Mary), Robert, of Toledo, OH, Bruce (Donna), Tucson. Daughters Janice McLaughlin, Tucson, Carolyn Spychala, Las Vegas, NV. Brother, Al Liming of CA, and six grandchildren. Mrs. McLaughlin was a member of the Eastern Star and Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30 at Tucson Meadows. Contributions to the American Lung Association, in lieu of flowers.
