BLAIR, Harold Marcel, 75, of Tucson, passed away August 4, 1995. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Tucson; sons, William of IL, Harry (Ann) Dimopaulos of IL; daughters, Stephanie (Neal) Niederman of CA, Cynthia of CA; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Rose Simms of IN; many nieces and nephews also survive. BRYANT, Betty, born March 20, 1924 died August 7, 1995. Preceded in death by her husband, Leon Bryant. Survivors include daughter, Suzette (Neil) Felder of Dallas, TX; daughter, Antonette (Carley) Howell of Tucson; four grandchildren, Cary Collins of Tucson, Charles Collins of Dallas, TX, Lette Turner of Tucson and Adam Collins of Dallas, TX; five great grandchildren; Shannon and Christina Malloy, Melissa Cota and T.J. and Cody Turner, all of Tucson; many nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Services will be held on August 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Sabino Road Baptist Church, 2710 N. Sabino Canyon Road 298-9493. In lieu of flowers, a love offering can be made to the church building fund in her memory.

BUDINGER, Thomas Bowman, born August 13, 1920, Snow Shoe, PA, died August 5, 1995 Tucson, AZ. Longtime Tucson resident and University of Arizona graduate. Preceded in death by brother, Gene. Survived by brothers, Charles, Philip (Shirley), Karl and Francis (Jane); sister, Sara Budinger Peterson (Jon); and sister-in-law, Margaret J. Budinger. A WWII Navy Veteran who served in both the European and Pacific Theaters and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corp Medal for heroism. Services will be private. 'Home is the sailor, home from the sea, and the hunter home from the hill'.

CATES, Robert L., 53, died Sunday, August 6, 1995. Survived by wife, Carla Jo Cates; daughter, Jody Lopez; and son, Randy Cates; sisters, Frances Jones, Monty Smith and Jean Dorman. Also survived by 50 grandchildren and 90 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 1995 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. FRASER, Alma B., 83, passed away August 7, 1995 at the home of Barry Fraser. Alma was born in Newhamburg, NY June 5, 1912. Moved to Tucson August, 1951. Preceded in death by husband, Charles; and sister, Ruth Jackson. Survived by sons, Barry (Judy), Lynn (Marty); grandchildren, Veronica Lee Degeest (Les), Michael, Lee (Mary) and Terry; great-grandchild, Justin; niece, Carol Forman (Ed). Nunez; sons, Jesus 'Welo' Contreras, Oscar Q. (Pamela), Hector E. (Mary), Enrique 'Rick' (Pam) and Leonard 'Leo' (Mona) Nunez; sisters, Maria Socorro Mungia, Dolores Dominguez, Josephina Nunez, Connie (Timoteo) Santeyan, Anita (Joe) Mendoza, Mary (Juan) Castillo and Angelita (Juan) Amaro; brother, Enrique (Josie) Nunez; granddaughters, Jessica and Shelby Rae; grandsons, Oscar III, Anthony, Nicholas, Gabriel, Jesus, Benjamin, Julian, Jose-Angel, Kyle and Jared; also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 1995 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 300 S. Survived by loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Gloria (nee Kohn) of Tucson; daughters, Joan (Leonard) Knapp of Loomis, CA, Carrie (Joe) Wisk of Neshanic Station, NJ; grandchildren Adam and Amelia Knapp, Jayson and Travis Wisk. Elliot served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. Was a graduate of Tucson High, 1945 and U of A 1950 with a B.A. Worked as a microbiologist at University of California Medical Center; Sr. Research Food Technologist, Richmond Chase Corp, San Jose, CA. Employed with CIBA-Geigy Pharmaceutical for 30 years in the San Francisco area and the home office in NJ. Served as president of the Board For Project Hope, San Mateo County. Member of Masonic Lebanon Pacific Lodge and Scottish Rite San Francisco. Was an associate editor, Lange Medical Publications, Los Altos, CA. In retirement taught 8 years at Morris Catholic High School in Denville, NJ. Retired in 1991 and returned to Tucson. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 9, 1995 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 750 W. Chapala Dr. with Rev. Barbara Smith officiating. Family request in lieu of flowers, Contributions be made to St. Joseph's Carondelet Hospice. EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. in charge of arrangements.
