LENZNER, Nelle Janet (nee Lawson), of Tucson, passed away at home on March 29, 1995. Mrs. Lenzner was born on 5th August 1904 in Peekskill on the Hudson, Westchester County, NY and was educated at Russell Sage Women’s College in Troy, NY and Columbia University, New York City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major General Emil Lenzner (USMA ’24) and is survived by her daughter, Janet Stewart of Tucson; her son Robert E. Lenzner, USA Ret (Jean Page) of Wilmington, NC; and her niece, Elizabeth Johnston (Leonard) of Sedona; and five grandchildren, Laddie Leighton Hall (Robert L, II) of Tucson, Laurie Scott Haskett (Robert W.) of The Orme School, Mayer, Jean Lenzner of Houston, Susan Kragelund (Anders) of Towson, MD and Anne Campanella (Stephen) of Pittsburgh; and five great-grandchildren, of Tucson and Pittsburgh. A Mayflower descendant, she was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution in the State of NJ. She performed community service work in Washington, DC during World War II and later in Heidelberg and Berlin, Germany and in Tucson, she served on the Board of the Tucson Symphony Women’s Society and worked in its thrift shop. The Lenzners were members of Casa Adobes Congregational Church. She will be buried next to her husband at the Fort Huachuca National Cemetery. PARSONS, Marie, 85 years old, died March 28, 1995, Tuesday in Tucson. Survived by her husband, George Parsons of Tucson; son, Charles (Carla ) Parsons of Miami, FL; daughter, Sharon (Howard) Stewart of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren, Alice, Miguel, Christina, Dana, Pilar. Celebration of Life will be held April 13, Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at the Rincon Country Mobil Home Park, 3411 S. Camino Seco, Tucson. Family suggest memorials be made to Community Hospice, 4330 N. PAWLOWIC, Marie M., 83 years old, died Saturday, March 25, 1995 in Tucson. Survived by seven children; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Otti; son, Gerald; two grandsons, Brian and Gregory. Memorial Services were held Monday, March 27, 1995 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. STEWART, Barbara A., 55, of Tucson – Loving wife and mother, died Sunday, March 26, 1995. She is survived by her devoted husband, Tony Stewart of Tucson; daughter, Courtney Stewart of Tucson; sons, Derek and Kyle Stewart; mother, Margaret Wales and father Luther Wales, both of York, PA; and sister, Linda of York, PA. Burial will take place at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York, PA. A Memorial Service will be held for family and friends, Palm Sunday, April 9, 1995, 4:00 p.m. at Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church, Tucson, AZ. Donations may be made to the “Make A Wish’ Foundation. TRAUTT, Francis J. “Fay’, 83, of Tucson, passed away March 28, 1995. He was preceded in death by his wife, Greba Katherine, his granddaughter, Jennifer Ross, and his brother Ray Trautt. He is survived by children, Terry Truatt of Yankton, SD, Patricia (Joe R.) Schodtler of Tucson, Judy (Rick) Rolland of Tucson, Gail (John) Barnhill of Tucson; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandsons; sisters, Evelyn Houlton of Yuma, AZ, Ella Houlton of Sioux City, IA; brother, Lee Trautt of Tucson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd., (one block North of Grant.) Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Entombment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the SS. WHITFIELD, Edward, 82, of Tucson, passed away March 28, 1995. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne on September 14, 1993. Survived by daughters, Arlene (Norman) Jennings of Tucson and Carol (Gary) Cook of Farmington, NM; grandchildren, Richard (Melissa) Jennings, Michael Jennings, Deborah Cook, Karin Cook; great grandchildren, Nicholas and Cody; brother, Ben Whitfield of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and special family friend Claudia Davis. Graveside Service 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 31 at East Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Ed Parcil officiating. Remembrances may be made to T.M.C. Hospice in appreciation to Sally Dollard and Patty Behr. BRABENEC, Mary T. (nee Beyvl), 89, of Tucson, died March 25, 1995. Survived by daughter-in-law, Theresa Brabenec of Tucson; brother, Joseph Beyvl of Huntsville, AL; sister, Helen Beyvl of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Rita Schmaltz of Chicago, IL, Barbara Brabenec, Teresa McEwen, Virginia Speranza, Janet Vita, all of Tucson, Robert Brabenec and Thomas Brabenec of Tampa, FL; seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, William J.; son, William C.; grandson, William R. Brabenec; and brother, James Beyvl. BROWN, Jerry M., 54 years old, died Monday, March 27, 1995, a plumbing contractor. He was born in Roanoke, VA. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne F.; daughters, KellieAnne, Mikki; seven grandchildren, and an aunt in VA. Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 31, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. in the WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway. CONTRERAS, Manuel Antonio Ardura, “Manolin’, A Tucson native, was born February 12, 1964 and died suddenly on March 25, 1995 in an automobile accident in Logansport, IN. Manolin was preceded in death by his brother, Antonio Ardura Contreras. Survivors include parents, Manuel and Natalia; son, Gabriel; daughter, Yvonne; brothers, Nathan (Michelle), Antoni; sisters, Rosi (Richard) Andrade, Ph.D., Julia, all of Tucson, and sister, Melissa Gallo of NY; grandmother, Josefa Ardura Gallo of Tucson; friend, Shelly Branscum; and her children, Dustin and Kegan; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Manolin was an avid outdoorsman. FOSSENKEMPER, John F., 82, of Tucson, passed away March 27, 1995. He was a former golf professional at Randolph Golf Course and Tucson Estates. He was born in Richmond, IN and is a former owner of a Penguin Drive-Inn on East Main and City Delivery in Richmond. Survivors include wife, Christina; three nephews and one niece. Memorial Service on Thursday, March 30th at 4:00 p.m. at the Tucson Estates Recreation Center, Walter Schmotzer officiating.

KREAMER, William Kenneth, April 23, 1925 – March 26, 1995. Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated in the 180th class of Central High School, where he won a number of art scholarships. He served in the United States Navy as Seabee during World War II in the Pacific Theater. After discharge, he attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, and later studied at the Art Student’s League in N.Y. City. In 1948 he married Marie Ceriale of Philadelphia and opened a freelance art studio, The Spruce Street Advertising Agency. During the Korean War, he returned to Government Service in the U.S. Army Signal Corp. He transferred from Philadelphia to The Strategic Command at Fort Huachuca in 1967, and retired as Deputy Chief of ComSec in 1980. He received a BA in art history from the University of Arizona in 1984. Bill was preceded in death by his father William Brown Kreamer, his mother Rachel Cain Kreamer and sisters Jean Kreamer and Myra Fluhrer. He is survived by his wife, Marie; children Paul (Colleen), David (Janet Hope), Steven, Will (Sandy), Lisa Stark (Rick), Robert (Elizabeth Woolls), Joseph (Ellen); 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. “Tho’ much is taken, much Abides’ Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 1995. A Scripture Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel. Mass will be held Thursday, March 30, 1995, 9:00 a.m. at St. Odilia Catholic Church. LUNDBERG, Sophie C., 93, of Tucson, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 1995. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry. PARTLOW, Ronald Dale, TSgt, USAF retired Vietnam Veteran and U of A Alumnus, 54, died Monday, March 27, 1995. Survived by loving companion, Jacquie Rebel; children, Dale Paul Partlow, Pya Michele (James M.) Linnevers; grandchildren, Cynthia Therese Linnevers, Stephen Dale Linnevers; sister, Barbara Mills. (Patricia) Sheehan, Elizabeth A. (James) O’Brien, James M. (Rosemary) Sheehan, Edward T. (Ann) Sheehan, Margaret M. (Richard) McGorray; brother-in-law of, Joseph (Tina) Gannon, Jeanne (Doug) Dustin, Robert (Eileen) Gannon, Irene (John) Enright, Paul (Beth) Gannon, Thomas (Donna) Gannon, Kathy (Carl) Jepson, David Gannon, Nelson Gannon. Many loving nieces and nephews also survive. Joseph devoted his life to law enforcement and is a retired Pima County Deputy Sheriff. TOUSLEY, George, H., Jr., 76 years old of Tucson, died Thursday, March 23. Survived by wife, Mildred; daughter, Cassandra Blatt of Fort Worth, TX; son, Brian (Lisa) of Juneau, AK; brother, Dirk of CA; sister, Marigold Chell Bernhardt of MO; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Tousley served in the Army during WWII. He graduated from the University of Arizona. His career was that of a mining engineer. He was an active sportsman.
