WELTON, Margaret C., 89, died April 4, 1995. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Edward Roll of Tucson; grandchildren, Sally (Guy) Freeman of TX, and Margaret (Jorge) Gallardo of Tucson; great grandchildren, Stacy, Lauren, Connie, Ana, Jaclyn; sister, Katherine L. BICH, James W., 45, died Monday, April 3, 1995. Caring husband and father to his wife, Mary Bich and daughter, Laura. Survived by his parents, Wesley and Lydia Bich; brothers, Frank and Jeff; and sister, Carmen Ruff. He will be missed by his many friends of T.S.R.A. which he belonged to for many years. BLUE, Houston Leon, loving husband and father, passed away April 3, 1995 at the age of 71. Born in Iredell, TX., Houston lived and worked in various locations, eventually retiring in Tucson in 1977. He last worked for Newberry Electric in Tucson. Houston was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Surviving are sister, Rachael Drongoule; brother, Willard Blue and sister-in-law Mildred Blue. Wife, Rosalie; children, Scott Blue, Sherry Derifield and Janice Lee of Sparks, NV, Liz Blue of Dallas, TX, and Michael Blue in Tucson, and their spouses; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous special nieces and nephews. Houston loved to hunt and fish but the thing he most enjoyed was gambling at “Western Village’ in his summer home in Sparks, NV. Mass will be offered at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 7, 1995 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 215 S. Craycroft, with Interment to follow at TMP East Lawn. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Family suggest donations to the American Parkinson Disease Association or St. Joseph Catholic Church.

DEWHIRST, Iris Orsborn, 68 of Tucson, died April 3, 1995 at her residence. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Leonard W.; sons, Mark W. of Chapel Hill, NC and Kirk L. of Alcala de Henares, Madrid, Spain; daughter, Kathleen Hover, Port Orchard, WA; brothers, Merle Orsborn of Hutchinson, KS, Harmon Orsborn of Rancho Cordova, CA; seven grandchildren. Mrs. Dewhirst was born February 26, 1927 in Wamego, KS. She first moved to Tucson in 1957. She was involved in many community activities including AAUW and YWCA. While a member of Pima Co. Board of Supervisors she was Vice Chairman. Other interests and activities include serving on Friends of Tucson Public Library Board, Travelers Aide and Mental Health Research Board. She received the YWCA Women on the Move Lifetime Achievement award and the Library in Catalina is named for her. A member of Christ Church United Methodist, she was also past president of AZ Clean and Beautiful, Chairman of the Air Quality Executives Committee Pima Association of Government and Tucson Arts Council as well as many other things. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 7, 1995 at 4:00 p.m. at Christ Church United Methodist, 655 N. Craycroft with Pastor Thomas Kiracofe officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tucson YWCA Endowment Fund or AAUW Educational Foundation. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

DONE, Richard H., 93, died April 2, 1995. Survived by his wife, Eva Done; children, Lavene Reeder of UT, Ila Petty, Richard A. (Lyra) Done, and Boyd (Jeanette) Done, all of Tucson; brother, Otto Done of MO; 20 grandchildren; 73 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren also survive. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Thursday April 6, at the Fort Lowell Ward Chapel, 3700 E. Ft. Lowell Rd., with Bishop Dean Abegg conducting. Interment to follow at L.D.S. Cemetery. HAYMORE, Amy Ruth, 91, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 1995. Survived by her daughters, Jacqui Axelson of Tustin, CA and Peggy (Loy) Eich of Tucson; eight grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Haymore was preceded in death by her husband, Walter. Funeral Services 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, with Pastor Frank Shelt officiating. HOLSTROM, Frances E., 75, of Tucson, died April 4, 1995. Survived by husband, John; son, Jon; daughter, Carol (Floyd) Lange; grandchildren, Bruce (Theresa) Lange, Bryan Lange, and Nancy Lange; great grandson, Brad Lange. Frances is a member of Order of Eastern Star, Ladies’ Oriental Shrine of North America, and True Kindred. Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 5601 E. KOSIK, Stephen, a resident of Arizona for the past 20 years, passed away April 3, 1995 in Tucson, at the age of 81. Born November 11, 1913 in Bethlehem, PA. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mae; daughter, Anna Theresa DeGarmo; sons, Stephen, Julius, and Charles Kosik; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 1995 at Santa Cruz Lutheran Church in Tucson.Arrangements by SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave.

LESSEL, William A., 88, of Tucson, died April 1, 1995. Survived by sister-in-law, Myrtle Craig of Chicago, IL. Mr. Lessel moved to the United States at the age of 14 from France. He was an employee of Moody Bible Institute for over 44 years, retiring in 1971 and then moving to Arizona. Preceded in death by his wife, Vivian in 1968. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m., April 9 at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Officiating is Rev. Floyd Morgan of Saguaro Evangelical Free Church. NUNEZ, Refugio “Cuco’, 89, of Tucson, passed away peacefully on April 1, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Petra, of 51 years; children, Victoria (Tommy) Hernandez, of Perris, CA., Richard (Lillian) of Tucson, Jose (Linda) of Tucson and Rafael (Cecilia) of Tucson; seven grandchildren, Roy, Zina, Scott, Sarah, Ramona, Maricela and Lorena; two great grandchildren, Joseph and Arianna. Refugio retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1971 after 47 years of injury free service. He was also a life member of Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 1995 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Friday, 9:00 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Church. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.

PATT, Robert W., Sr., 70, of Oro Valley, died March 27, 1995. Survived by his wife, Charlotte A. (Schimming); his children, Robert W. Jr. (Laurie), Pamela, Terri (Claud) Smith and John M. (Laura); six grandsons and one granddaughter; beloved brother of Ray, James, Tom, Richard, Ruth, and Patricia; will also be remembered by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a retired member of the Phoenix Missile System group at Hughes Aircraft. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and an active golfing member of the Oro Valley Country Club, past member of the Board of Directors. His legacy of concern for others will be remembered. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 1995 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 750 W. Chapala, Tucson. In lieu flowers, memorials may be given to the Northwest Interfaith Center Endowment Fund, 7650 N. Paseo del Norte, Tucson, 85704 or the charity of choice.

RAMIREZ, Robert F. “Bobby’, 65, of Tucson, passed away April 2, 1995. Preceded in death by loving wife, Connie F. Ramirez and brother, Joe F. Ramirez. Survived by children, Gus A. Ramirez, Sylvia (David) Herrera, . Roberto L., Oscar and Lisa Ramirez; sisters, Nellie (Fred) Rivera, Socorro (Pinky) and Wimberly (George); sister-in-law, Belen Ramirez; mother-in-law, Alejandra Lopez; loving granddaughters, Crystal and Alyssa Herrera. Robert will be missed by many relatives, nephews, nieces and friends. Your constant laughs, jokes and love will be missed. BRABAW, Elinor Louise, 82, of Tucson, died April 2, 1995. Born in Pearl Beach, MI, retired Executive Secretary at First Interstate Bank. She had a deep love for birds, and was a member of the Audubon Society, and was active with The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. Survived by sister, Margaret; two brothers of Detroit, MI; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Services Wednesday 10:00 a.m Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Audubon Society, 300 E. University Blvd., Tucson, AZ in memory of Elinor L. Brabaw.
