BEATY, Doss Thomas, 58, of Patagonia, passed away April 29, 1995. Preceded in death by his father, Clarence L. “Chapo’ Beaty; and sister, Louise Bell; and brother, Clarence J. Beaty. Survived by wife, Juanita Beaty; son, John Beaty; mother, Rita R. Beaty; brothers, Gilbert (Dora) Beaty, Marshall (Rosemary) Beaty; nieces, Diana Beaty, Yvette (Alphonso) Hernandez, and Patricia Beaty; three great-nieces and three great-nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 1995 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (Center Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Wednesday, May 3, 1995 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Cathedral. Interment at Patagonia Cemetery. There will be a half hour visitation at St. Teresa Church in Patagonia. Doss Thomas Beaty, son of Chapo Beaty, original member of the legendary Arizona Rangers, was a member of the Arizona Army National Guard. Doss Beaty, was a 4th generation Patagonian. Members of the Arizona Rangers, Tucson Company, will serve as pallbearers.
CONNOLLEY, Thomas J., 76, of Tucson, passed away April 28, 1995. Survived by wife, Betty Hartley Connolley; father of Kathleen (Harold) Schwendeman; grandfather of Thomas (Kirsten), Craig, Daniel, US Air Force, Eric (Megan), US Air Force; great-grandfather of Jonathan, Erika and Sarah Bethany; beloved brother of Emma Russell of Lees Summitt, MO; many nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Connolley was a locomotive engineer for 38 years with Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad and was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, St. Francis De Sales Chapter. Memorial Mass will be offered at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 1995 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco. Further services will be in Spooner, WI. GUTIERREZ, Luis “Louie’ Martinez, 40, a native and lifetime resident of Tucson, died in the early morning Friday, April 28, 1995. Survived by his wife, Dottie Williams; three children, Luis Gutierrez, Jr., Gabriel Gutierrez, Jamie Gutierrez; parents, Antonio and Mary Martinez; brothers, Ramon Gutierrez, Antonio Gutierrez, Jr., Arturo Martinez, George Martinez; sisters, Rosemary Gonzalez, Jennie Villegas, Socorro Aguirre. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alberto and Angelita Gutierrez; his sister, Angie “Mercy’ Perez; his grandson, Luis Angel Gutierrez. Visitation will be today, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at EVERGREEN MORTUARY CHAPEL, N. Oracle and W. BELL, Richard O., 69, of Angel Fire, NM, formerly of Tucson, AZ passed away at Holy Cross Hospital in Taos, NM on April 25, 1995. He was born April 15, 1926 in Clearfield, PA and retired from Hughes Aircraft in 1985. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Louise S. Bell of Angel Fire; two daughters, Brenda Donnellan of Apache Junction, AZ, and Lori Bell of Tucson, AZ; one son, Jeff Bell of Tucson, AZ. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, April 28th at the Angel Fire Baptist Church. with Rev. Dann Masters officiating. Burial was private. Rivera-Hanlon Funeral Home in Taos handled all arrangements.
BUYERS, Eugene T., 69, joined his Lord, April 23, 1995. Husband of, Dorothy; father of, Terry S. (Peggy) of SC and Dori J.
