MCCRACKEN, Cynthia Louise (Hillman), 36, of Allen, Texas, died suddenly on January 12, 1995. Cindy, who was an accountant for the City of Plano, Texas, graduated from the University of Arizona and Sabino High School in Tucson. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her many friends and family. She was an avid hiker, biker, camper and reader who embraced life to the fullest. She is survived by her husband, Michael McCracken; her parents, Dr. Bill and Betty Hillman of Tucson; sisters, Debra Demijohn of Alice Springs, Australia and Susan de Alban of Quito, Equador and Chicago, IL; grandmother, Mrs. Richard Bartke of Santa Rosa, CA; nieces, Laurissa and Kimberley Demijohn of Alice Springs, Australia; and five uncles of California and Maine. FUNK, Mary R. “Peggy’, widow of Ward L. Funk, died Sunday, January 8, 1995 at the age of 88. Peggy pledged the Pi Beta Phi sorority in 1926 at the University of Arizona from which she graduated in 1928. After teaching high school in Tucson she married Ward in 1937 and moved to Boston, MA. After Ward’s death in 1986, she moved back to Tucson. Peggy is survived by her son William, his wife Renate; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Jonas, and Rebecca Funk, who live in Portland, OR.
HANNA, Donald Eugene, 68, of Tucson passed away January 8, 1995. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie R. Hanna; and his daughter, Rebecca R. Hanna-Armstrong. Survived by daughter, Mary Gordon Hanna of Tucson; sisters, Mary Gordon Yull, and Betty L. Cook, both of Geneseo, NY, and Alice Ann Sattora of Conesus Lake, NY; as well as an extended loving family from NY to CA. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:45 a.m., Sunday, January 15, 1995 following the worship service of Desert Springs Evangelical Presbyterian Church at Adair Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. SHACKELFORD, David Jay, 37, of Tucson, died January 11, 1995. LYNCH, Warren H. (Bill), 73, 50 year resident of Tucson, AZ., passed away at home January 11, 1995. Warren was born in St. Louis, MO., and grew up in Beverly, MA. After serving in the Army Air Corps in WWII, Pacific Theatre, he received his J.D. from the U of A College of Law and remained in practice until 1994.
