RIVERA, Gloria Amado, a resident of Tucson since 1955, passed away January 20, 1995 in Tucson at the age of 63. Born April 4, 1931 in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Survived by her husband, Alvaro; children, Alvaro (Cecelia) Rivera, Yolanda (Albert) Ontiveros, Gloria (Tony) Majalca, Jesus (Lupe) Rivera, Marco Rivera, Alfonso (Linda) Rivera, Rachel (Fernando) Murillo; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her grandson, Joe Alvarez. Visitation will be held today from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Santa Cruz Catholic Church. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

TRUEBLOOD, Wilson D., 95, of Tucson and Washington Island, WI, passed away on January 20, 1995. Preceded in death by his daughter, Carol. Survived by his wife, Ruth; stepdaughter, Johanna; brother, Lorman; and niece, Abby Trueblood; and nephews, Peter Maiken and Jeffrey Maiken. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin department of Chemical Engineering, a veteran of WWI, a member of the American Society of Metals International, a member of the Baseom Hill Society of the University of Wisconsin, a member of the President’s Club of the University of Arizona, a member of the Foothills Forum, a member of the Skyline Country Club and a member of St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church. WALLET, Eleanor Ruth, 73, of Tucson, died January 20, 1995. Survived by children, Sandra L. Bruch of PA, Stuart F. Wallet of NJ, Jay Wallet of VA, Mindy A. Duffy of CA, Howard R. Wallet of CO and Edward Wallet of Tucson; brothers, Norman Friedman of NH, Sydney Friedman of NJ and Marvin Friedman of NY; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. ZOLLER, John T., 86, died in Saddlebrook, Tucson, AZ, December 22, 1994. He is survived by his wife, Ginny; and two sons by a previous marriage, Christopher of Coral Gables, Florida and Michael of Bentonville, Arkansas. John’s background was in the motion picture, radio and television industry as an actor, director and producer. He worked with many famous stars, Bette Davis, John Wayne, Joan Crawford, Humphrey Bogart and Tyrone Powers to name a few. He directed and produced Cavalcade of America for many years, a highlight of which was directing Clark Gable. John will be missed by many for his magnetism, charisma, poetry and above all for his delightful sense of humor that stayed with him to the end. He was a gentle gentleman. Survived by Lolly, my wonderful wife of 52 years. Two great daughters, Robin English and Lee (Steven) Olmstead, and four lively grandkids, Jason, Kristin, Andrea and Jennifer. I can’t complain, I’ve had a good life.

Shestko in 1980, sons, Matthew J. Shestko in 1961, Michael E. Shestko in 1970, daughter, Margaret M. Peebles in 1968, brother, John Shestko in 1981. As a career military man, Mr. Shestko served during WWI in the Army and later in the Navy through WWII. He retired in March 1960. OLSEN, Mary Gordon, of Tucson, died quietly in her sleep on January 16, 1995. She leaves an adoring family: husband of 52 years, Holden W. Olsen; daughters, Judy Taylor (Mrs. Paul) of Orange, California and Kathy Niles (Mrs. Clayton) of Tucson, Arizona; and five grandchildren. Born in Michigan, Mary graduated from the University of Arizona in 1939, and taught school in both Prescott and Phoenix. When Holden returned from WWII overseas duty in 1945 they established their home in Tucson. In addition to raising their two daughters, she took an active role in numerous community organizations including the YWCA, the Assistance League of Tucson, Chi Omega, the Tucson Symphony Women’s Association, and the P.E.O. One of the real joys of her life was serving on the Symphony Cotillion Ball advisory committee for over 30 years. Memorial Services will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church at 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 20 with Dr. James Hine and Rev. Jack W. Baca officiating. Private interment Evergreen Cemetery.
