RIVERA, Gloria Amado, a resident of Tucson since 1955, passed away January 20, 1995 in Tucson at the age of 63. Born April 4, 1931 in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Survived by her husband, Alvaro; children, Alvaro (Cecelia) Rivera, Yolanda (Albert) Ontiveros, Gloria (Tony) Majalca, Jesus (Lupe) Rivera, Marco Rivera, Alfonso (Linda) Rivera, Rachel (Fernando) Murillo; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her grandson, Joe Alvarez. Visitation will be held today from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Santa Cruz Catholic Church. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

SENNE, William H., 78, of Tucson, AZ, died January 22, 1995. Survived by son, William R. (Ruth) Senne of Clifton; grandsons, William and Tim. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 1995 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Pastor Tim McIntyre of the Assembly of God Church of Morenci, AZ officiating. Burial to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

TRUEBLOOD, Wilson D., 95, of Tucson and Washington Island, WI, passed away on January 20, 1995. Preceded in death by his daughter, Carol. Survived by his wife, Ruth; stepdaughter, Johanna; brother, Lorman; and niece, Abby Trueblood; and nephews, Peter Maiken and Jeffrey Maiken. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin department of Chemical Engineering, a veteran of WWI, a member of the American Society of Metals International, a member of the Baseom Hill Society of the University of Wisconsin, a member of the President’s Club of the University of Arizona, a member of the Foothills Forum, a member of the Skyline Country Club and a member of St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church. Memorial Services will be at St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church at 11:00 Tuesday, January 24, 1995. Arrangements by Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan.

WALLET, Eleanor Ruth, 73, of Tucson, died January 20, 1995. Survived by children, Sandra L. Bruch of PA, Stuart F. Wallet of NJ, Jay Wallet of VA, Mindy A. Duffy of CA, Howard R. Wallet of CO and Edward Wallet of Tucson; brothers, Norman Friedman of NH, Sydney Friedman of NJ and Marvin Friedman of NY; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were held Sunday with burial in Congregation Anshei Israel Section of Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY.

ZOLLER, John T., 86, died in Saddlebrook, Tucson, AZ, December 22, 1994. He is survived by his wife, Ginny; and two sons by a previous marriage, Christopher of Coral Gables, Florida and Michael of Bentonville, Arkansas. John’s background was in the motion picture, radio and television industry as an actor, director and producer. He worked with many famous stars, Bette Davis, John Wayne, Joan Crawford, Humphrey Bogart and Tyrone Powers to name a few. He directed and produced Cavalcade of America for many years, a highlight of which was directing Clark Gable. John will be missed by many for his magnetism, charisma, poetry and above all for his delightful sense of humor that stayed with him to the end. He was a gentle gentleman. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee.

BULLOCH, Marguerite L., 75, died January 17, 1995. Survived by her husband, Doyle Bulloch; son, Edward E. (Mary) Colapret of Tucson; grandchildren, Taylor and Tracey Colapret; sister, Maria Nelson of TX; nieces, Diane Sinclair and Carol Lauderdale, both of TX; nephew, Owen Johnson of TX. Mrs. Bulloch was a member of the Roadrunners, Los Palmas Garden Club, Saguaro National Forest Assoc., and Rolling Hills Golf Course. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 13126, Tucson 85732-3126. Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 23 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

CHITWOOD, Charles Henry, 85, died at his home in Catalina on January 20, 1995. Survived by his wife, E. Marie Chitwood of Catalina; and by three children living out of state. Graveside Services 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 23 at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, (5401 South Park Avenue). Memorial Services will be held at Vistoso Community Baptist Church, Social Hall, in Sun City at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, January 22. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.

Survived by Lolly, my wonderful wife of 52 years. Two great daughters, Robin English and Lee (Steven) Olmstead, and four lively grandkids, Jason, Kristin, Andrea and Jennifer. I can’t complain, I’ve had a good life.
Cremation by Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Hospice, 1802 West St. Mary’s Rd. Tucson, Arizona 85745.
In accordance with my wishes, there will be no services.

(Helen) Weaving of Tarpon Springs, FL; sister-in-law, Marian Weaving of MA; nephews, Roger (Charlotte) Weaving of NJ, Raymond (Joan) Weaving of MA, Col. William (Sandy) Weaving of IL; nieces, Janet (Eugene) Barbato of MD, Elizabeth (Vincent) Lananna of CA; 15 grandnieces and grandnephews; five great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. SHESTKO, Michael, Our beloved dad was finally dealt THE winning hand by Our Lord Jesus on January 19, 1995. Survived by sons, James A. (Ruth) Shestko of Tucson, Paul R. (Josie) Shestko of Rio Rico, AZ; daughters, Mary A. Rohus, Viola M. (James) Gurden, both of Tucson, Dorothy E. (Tom) Fitzgerald of Marion, SD; 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Etzel of Pittsburgh, PA, Helen Townsend of Seweckley, PA. Predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth M. Shestko in 1980, sons, Matthew J. Shestko in 1961, Michael E. Shestko in 1970, daughter, Margaret M. Peebles in 1968, brother, John Shestko in 1981. As a career military man, Mr. Shestko served during WWI in the Army and later in the Navy through WWII. He retired in March 1960. Mr. Shestko was active with the VFW Post #549, The Udall Center, The Golden Agers and St. Cyril’s Social Group. Funeral Mass Monday 11:00 a.m. Holy Hope Mausoleum, 3555 N. Oracle Rd. Interment with Military Honors to follow Holy Hope Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with Rosary recited at 5:00 p.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY. CODERRE, Ada Rose, 69, died January 15, 1995. Wife of Albert; mother of Theresa (Jeff), Rose (Kenneth) and Bert (Maria); sister of Frank (Alice) Bampton; seven grandchildren also survive. OLSEN, Mary Gordon, of Tucson, died quietly in her sleep on January 16, 1995. She leaves an adoring family: husband of 52 years, Holden W. Olsen; daughters, Judy Taylor (Mrs. Paul) of Orange, California and Kathy Niles (Mrs. Clayton) of Tucson, Arizona; and five grandchildren. Born in Michigan, Mary graduated from the University of Arizona in 1939, and taught school in both Prescott and Phoenix. When Holden returned from WWII overseas duty in 1945 they established their home in Tucson. In addition to raising their two daughters, she took an active role in numerous community organizations including the YWCA, the Assistance League of Tucson, Chi Omega, the Tucson Symphony Women’s Association, and the P.E.O. One of the real joys of her life was serving on the Symphony Cotillion Ball advisory committee for over 30 years. Memorial Services will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church at 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 20 with Dr. James Hine and Rev. Jack W. Baca officiating. Private interment Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Tucson Symphony Women’s Association, P. O. Box 42654, Tucson AZ 85733. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

ROHDE, Wilson A., 76, of Tucson, died Wednesday, January 18, 1995. Survived by his wife, Martha; children, Wilson A. (Pat) Rohde, Jr., Joanne Frankenfeld, both of MD; stepchildren, Scott A. Joseph of FL, Liz (Dan) Gollman of NY; brother, Howard Rohde; sister, Marion Poehler, both of MD; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Mr. Rohde was a member of Rincon Congregational Church. He was a member of Patapsco Lodge #183, A.F. and A.M., St. John’s Royal Arch Chapter #19, Boumi Shrine Temple, and a Past Commander of Monumental Commandery #3, all in Baltimore, Maryland. Memorial Service 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 1995 at Rincon Congregational Church, 122 N. Craycroft. ROYAL, Herbert J., 69, of Tucson, died January 17, 1995. Survived by wife, Janice K. Royal of Tucson; daughters, Diane Spencer, Linda Emons and Sandra Wilkie, all of Wisconsin; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. No services are planned at this time.
