CAMARGO, Frank C., 76, of Tucson, passed away January 22, 1995. Survived by wife, Mary L. Camargo; children, Adeline Casillas, Norma (Jim) Nicholson, Frank (Olga) Camargo, Frances (Carlos) Valdez, Henry Camargo, Mary Lou Rubalcava and Mary M. Camargo; brothers, Angel, Juan, Auerlio, Salvador, Ralph and Manny; sisters, Socorro, Belen, Amparpo, Rose, Consuelo; also survived by 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Camargo was a WWII Veteran. He served in China-India Burma Theater of Operations. He was a member of the Eagles Post 180 and the Latin American Club; also a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local #479. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 1995 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Thursday, January 26, 1995 at St. Ambrose Church 9:30 a.m. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

COULSON, Howard, a 38 year resident of Tucson, passed away January 21, 1995, in Tucson, at the age of 80. Born February 8, 1914, in Millom, England. Mr. Coulson retired from the VA Hospital in Tucson, after 20 years. A lifetime member of DAV #2 in Tucson. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth; sisters, Jean (Charles) Maughan, Bertha Coulson and Peggy (Albert) Scull. Visitation will be held today from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Funeral Service Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, Chaplain Harry Weinenger officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

DOBYNS, Esther S., 86, died January 2, 1995. Survived by her daughter, Donna Osborn; and son, Jack (Carol) Dobyns, all of Tucson; brother, Edward Davis; sister, Gladys Hansen, both of IN; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; niece, Leila (Lowell) Govbeaux of IN. LUTZ, Jeanne Elizabeth “Betty’, 80, of Tucson, died January 22, 1995. Predeceased by husband, Edward E. Lutz, Sr. She is survived by children, Constance (Dr. William) Walbridge of East Dennis, MA, Adam N. (Marilyn) Lutz, II of Mesa and Edward E. (Jean) Lutz, Jr. of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Maxine Dallas of Willard of OH; and three grandchildren. Graveside Service of Remembrance Thursday 2:00 p.m. Evergreen Cemetery. O’HALLORAN, Roberta Ann, 67, of Tucson, died January 21, 1995. Survived by husband, Donald C. O’Halloran; son, Michael O’Halloran of Tucson; daughter, Kathleen Middleton of Anaheim, CA; grandchildren, Jennifer Delongchamp of Fairfield, CA, Julie Horvath of Anaheim, CA, Patrick O’Halloran of Tucson, Heather Starling of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jennifer Claire Delongchamp of Fairfield, CA; brother, Parker L. Calvin, Jr. of Oconto, NE. Services Thursday 11:00 a.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY with Rev. Edward L. Eddy officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. SILVA, Eleanor V., a resident of Tucson, formerly of Detroit, MI, passed away January 21, 1995. A member of VFW Post 549. She is survived by daughter, Carol Scheel; and sons, Richard, David and Robert Langbeen; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial Services will be held at the Tucson Medical Center Chapel, located at 5301 E. Grant Rd., Wednesday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m. Contributions may be made in her name to the American Lung Assoc.

SMITH, G. Clifford, 84, died January 20, 1995 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth; his daughter, Sandra Smith Thompson; grandsons, Marc D. W. Smith and Glenn W. Thompson; granddaughters-in-law, Mary O’Hair and Shari Thompson, all of Tucson; and granddaughters, Shannon Smith of Hong Kong and Vicki Smith Barrett and her husband Norman of San Diego. He was predeceased by his son, Douglas W. Smith and oldest grandson, Keith G. Thompson. Mr. Smith was owner of Arizona’s first travel agency, Hyways and Byways, and an active Rotarian for many years. He was also the founding president in Tucson of SKAL, an international travel club. A Memorial Service will be held at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway, at 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 27, 1995.

SNYDER, Harold W., 76, passed away January 18, 1995. Survived by wife, Thelma; daughter, Virginia of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25 at Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan. Private interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, Phoenix, AZ. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Assoc.

VINER, Walter N., 82, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on January 21, 1995 while visiting Tucson. He was the beloved husband of the late Reba. He is survived by his children, Mary Sue (Maurie) Kern of San Antonio, TX, Sally Rae (Wade) Monroe of Austin, TX and Bill (Brenda) Viner of Tucson; seven grandchildren; and three sisters. WILLIAMS, Alma J., 59, of Los Angeles, CA, passed away in Tucson January 18, 1995. Survived by children, Tracee Thomas (Delbert), Willis Collier III; mother, Iona Sherfield; grandchildren, Tamika Barnard, Michael Thomas and LaToya Thomas, all of Tucson. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26 at Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ, 403 E. Lee. Burial South Lawn Cemetery. AUDELO, Maria Soto, 96, of Tucson, passed away January 21, 1995. Preceded in death by her husband, Prisciliano; son, Armando Audelo; and grandson, Mark Audelo. Daughter of the pioneer families of Ramon Soto and Francisco Carrillo. Survived by son, Edmundo Audelo of WA; daughter, Adeline (George) Vacovsky of CA; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and beloved cousins and great-nieces and nephews. Was member of the Catholic Daughters Court St. Augustin #1227, Tucson; 3rd Order of St. Francis; Sentinels of the Blessed Sacrament; Guadalupanos of Cathedral; Legion of Mary; and member of St. Augustine Cathedral. Honorary Pallbearers: grandsons and godson, Martin De Soto. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 1995 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (North Chapel), 204 S. COLE, Beatrice “Bea’, 82, of Tucson, died January 22, 1995. Survived by son, Harold M. “Hal’ Cole of Tucson; grandchildren, Cary Cole, Randy Cole and Mindy Cole, all of Tucson; great-grandchildren, Forest Cole and Michael Cole; sister, Anita Sigafus of Tucson; cousin, Brownie Ebner of Tucson. Predeceased by husband, James M. Cole in 1985. Mrs. Cole was active in Sisterhood of Congregation Anshei Israel. Services Monday 2:30 p.m. with Rabbi Arthur R. Oleisky officiating at EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile. Interment Congregation Anshei Israel Section of Evergreen Cemetery. “The Lord is her Shepherd and she will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.’

LUDWIG, Norbert Walt., Lt. Col., Retired, 65, of Tucson, passed away January 19, 1995. Survived by wife, Marilyn J. Ludwig; and his mother, Esther H. Ludwig. Norbert was born in Scottsbluff, NE, November 26, 1929, moved to Oracle, Arizona in 1935. He attended Wakefield Junior High and Tucson High School. He served in the United States Army as a Lieutenant in the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1954. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1955. He was employed at the Fort Huachuca Proving Ground 1955 to 1964 as a program analyst. He then entered the College of Law, University of Arizona and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 1968. He was admitted to the Arizona State Bar and a member of the Bar Association for 27 years. He was an attorney for the law firm, Verity and Smith. In the early 70's he took a position with the Tucson City Attorney’s Office as an Assistant City Attorney. He retired from this position in August, 1991. He was a 32 year member of the BPO Elks, Sierra Vista, Arizona Lodge No. 2065. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Private family memorial. Contributions may be made to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, 2021 Kinney Rd., Tucson, AZ 85743 or the Humane Society of Tucson, 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716. MARIN, Alfredo B., 84, of Tucson, passed away January 20, 1995. Survived by wife, Mercy Alicia R. Marin; daughters, Connie Alvarez, Diane Gonzales, Lucia Ramirez, Carmen Marin, Nellie Marin, Gloria Avalos, Frances Baldenegro, Catalina Lechuga, Helen Contreras, Angie Marin, Isabel Marin, Isabel Darnell, Dolores Marin and Viola Marin; sons, Leo Maldonado, George Maldonado, Roy Marin (deceased), Alfredo Marin, Jr. (deceased), Johnnie Marin and Alfredo Marin, Jr.; sisters, Carmen M. Llamas and Catalina Flores (deceased); brothers, Angel Marin (deceased), Severino Marin (deceased), Friolan Marin and Yginio Marin (deceased); and 95 grandchildren. MAXSON, Betty, of Tucson, age 70, died at her home January 19, 1995. Survived by loving husband, Orville Maxson; sons, Marlin (Val) Maxson, John (Debbie) Maxson; daughters, Ruth (Wayne) Senkbeil, Kathryn Maxson, Kristine (Don) Maders; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many wonderful friends. Preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Sue Maxson. Betty was a homemaker and lived in Tucson 32 years. Visitation Monday, January 23 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S.
