Survived by daughters, Julia (Ernest) Felix, Delia Rincon, Alice (Rudy) Gradillas, Angie (Bill) Frey; sons, John (Helen) Reyna, Gilbert (Yoli) Reyna, Armando (Cristina) Reyna, David (Cathy) Reyna; sisters, Armida Conrad, Cecilia Roudebush and Alice Wasten; 41 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 1995 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Wednesday 9:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Interment Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

VALE, Virginia Z., of Tucson, died February 10, 1995. Survivors include children, James P. Vale, Nancy Kazakis and Verna Furbeck; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband James in 1980. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 1995. Funeral Services will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 1995, with Rev. Art Cole officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. FIKE, Louise Cobley, died January 19, 1995. Survived by son, Arvin Fike of Tucson; and granddaughter, Julia Selvig of Burlington, VT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 6464 E. G4rant Road, Tucson, AZ 85715. Memorial services will be held at Saguaro Christian Church, 8302 E. Broadway at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 3, 1995.

FLANDERS, C. Norman, 87, of Tucson formerly of Naperville, IL., died January 24, 1995. Mr. Flanders was a retired attorney having practiced in both Illinois and Arizona. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, S.A.R., The Westerners Club, and for many years was active in both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis. Survived by wife, Beryl; son, C.N. (Angela) Flanders of Galesburg, IL; daughters, Mary (Lun Yun) NG of Tucson and Carol Janis of Batavia, IL; and four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to either the Boy Scouts of America or the Girls Scouts of America.

NAVARRO, Willie S., 67, of Tucson, died January 23, 1995. Born October 15, 1927 in Flagstaff, AZ. He was an Air Force Veteran and he was a self employed barber for many years. Survived by wife, Anna Navarro; sons, William Castillo, Jr. of Lakeside, AZ., Ruben Castillo and Michael Castillo, both of Tucson; daughter, Sandra Sanchez of San Fernando, CA; brothers, Ralph Navarro of Pico Rivera, CA., Joseph Navarro of Cottonwood, AZ., Henry Navarro of San Francisco, CA; sisters, Mary Mora of Los Angeles, CA., Vera Castro of Red Rock, AZ., Della Navarro of Cottonwood, AZ., Ortencia Montoya of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild. Services Friday, 4:00 p.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Friends may call Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile. OLEA, Josephina R., (Wera), 62, of Tucson, passed away January 22, 1995. Survived by husband, Pete R. Olea; daughters, Julia (Antonio) Salcido, Elena (Alfredo) Olguin, Lydia (Jesus) Alcantar, and Olga (Mario) Ramirez. Sisters, Angie Ferrin, Francis Romo, Carmen Bustamante, and Martha Santa Cruz; brothers, Manuel and Vicente Romo, and Gilbert Gil; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday January 27, 1995 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (North Chapel), 204 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Saturday 9:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Interment Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

RIVES, Thelma I., 93, of Tucson, died January 20, 1995. Survivors include, sister, Lucille Ricks, Tucson; nephews, James Hall and Carl Bailey, Jr.; nieces, Rosemary Vinson, Wanda Mattuci, Peggy Jo Sterling, Candy Richichi and Penelope Bailey; several great great great nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 1995. Funeral will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. SCIORTINO, Peter, 91, a resident and business man, owner of Sciortino’s Italian Bakery for 37 years. Father of Michael Sciortino, Josephine (Sal) Baio and Rosalie (Joe) Casey, all of Tucson; brother of Grace Sciortino and Mary (Peter) Fricano; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Sciortino was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Helen and his two daughters, Theresa Giancana and Phyllis Cahill. Mass will be offered at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 1995 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, and friends may call from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

TREJO, Robert David, 23 years old, died Monday, January 23. He is survived by mother, Beth Anne (Rick) Phipps of CA; father, Robert M. Trejo; grandmother, Mary Trejo; step brothers, Bradley and Shawn Phipps, all of Tucson; brother, Kevin Michael Trejo of CA. Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 1995, 1:00 p.m. with Funeral at 2:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave.

BROWN, E. Philip, 82, of Tucson, passed away January 25, 1995. Survived by wife, Elizabeth; children, Sharon (Chuck) Eckerle of Idaho, Earl (Anne) of Tucson, Catherine (David) Faulkner of NM and Gregory of Tucson; grandchildren, Aaron Eckerle, Jennifer Brown and Michael Faulkner. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee, Sunday, January 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary being said at 7:30 p.m. the same evening. EELLS, Walter A., 84, died January 24, 1995. Survived by wife, Genevieve; sons, Walter of CA, Paul and David of FL; daughter, Jane Alyce of Tucson; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Schwering and Marcella Eells of PA. Walter, a former electronics engineer, was a graduate of St. Joseph’s University of Philadelphia, PA and Drexel University of Philadelphia, PA. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Monday, January 30 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. EGE, Charles C. U.S. Army Ret. Col., 90, of Tucson, died January 25, 1995. Preceded in death by his wife, Ennard M. in 1986 after 57 years of marriage, and infant son Ronald R. in 1931. Survived by son, Conrad C. Ege; daughter in law, Beth Ege; four granddaughters; three great grandchildren. Mr. Ege retired from the U.S. Army as Colonel after 30 years in 1959. He served in W.W II on General Pattons 3rd Army Staff in the Battle of the Bulge and in Korea. Graduate of Oklahoma A and M. Colonel Ege was a petroleum engineer for Gulf Oil and a school teacher before being recalled into the Army in March 1941. After retirement Colonel Ege taught math at Fickett Junior High School until his retirement in 1969. Memorial Services will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. (at Magee), Saturday, January 28, 1995 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery. Donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans or Paralyzed Veterans of America.

FORSTER, Malissa F., 87, died Thursday, January 26, 1995. Survived by sisters, Pauline MacKenzie and Marjorie Perrine of MO; brother, Denver Beaven of CA. Funeral Services and Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 1995 at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5081 E. Grant Rd. Malissa was along time member of Flowing Wells Assembly of God Church.

HINTON, Avo, 82, formerly of Tucson, was employed by Kitt Peak National Observatory for several years, passed away January 25, 1995 in Apple Valley, CA. She was born in Idaho in 1913. She is survived by adopted son, Sam Hinton and foster son, Harold Baker; niece, Constance Kelley; and several grandchildren.

MILLER, Lillian, 81, died January 24, 1995. Preceded in death by husband, Abraham. Survived by sons, Philip of Tucson and Richard of Culver City, CA; brother, Joseph Miller of Carlsbad, CA; grandchildren, David, Ashleigh, Jacqueline, Kevin, Jocelyn, Mohra and Russell. Graveside Services Friday 1:00 p.m. Temple Emanu-El Section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Arnold Levine officiating. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

REESE, Barbara, 56, of Tucson, died January 25, 1995. Survived by husband of 40 years, Bill; children, Diane Reese Beyer of Tucson, William (Brenda) of CA, Sandra (Chris) Kanoza of Tucson, Debra (Andrew) Stewart of Tucson, Barbara Joanne Reese of Tucson, Robert (Yvonne) of Texas; and 12 grandchildren; brothers, Robert A. Winder and Fred L. Winder, Jr. of Seattle, WA. Member of Friendly Neighbors of Randolph and Tabor, Iowa and volunteer for the Red Cross.
