Son of, Grace (John) Iannuzzi of Medford, Massachusetts. Brother of, Mrs. Rose Marie Belli of Medford, Massachusetts. Brother of, John J. Iannuzzi of Syracuse, New York. Four grandchildren. Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m. Friday, February 17, 1995 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

McCLOSKEY, Robert, 63, of Tucson, Passed away February 15, 1995. He is survived by son, Johnny and his wife, Bambi McCloskey; daughters, Cheryl and her husband Paul Steigerwald of CA, Cathy McCloskey Griffin of Scottsdale, AZ, Linda and her husband Larry Tinsley of Phoenix. Grandchildren, Cody, Bobby and Connolly McCloskey and Ashley Griffin; brother, John McCloskey; sister, Maureen and her husband Bud Connor; parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert J. McCloskey of Iowa. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, February 18, 1995 at Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Monday February 20, 1995 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Vail, AZ. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery.

MCMULLEN, Bonnie Jean (Harper), 47, of Tucson, went to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 12, 1995. She is survived by husband, Andrew; daughter, Kristen; son, Matthew; and mother, Betty. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeannette. A Coronation Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 10:30 a.m., at the Community Church of the Foothills, 480 E. Ina Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian medical missions group, in care of the church.

PEYRON, Amelia S., 96, a lifelong resident of Arizona died February 15, 1995. Survived by daughters, Angelina P. Harris and Dora Jaggers, both of Tucson, Julia Camacho of Douglas, AZ; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Sunday with visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 20 in the chapel with interment following in South Lawn Cemetery.

STEPHENS, Mary T., 90, of 2711 Green Crest Drive, Erie, died Sunday, February 12, 1995 at Hamot Medical Center. Born in New Castle May 9, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Mathias and Elizabeth Siebanwoller Klaber. She was a long time member of St. Julia Catholic Church and belonged to the Rosary Society at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. Stephens; a daughter, Adarienne Stephens; four brothers, Robert Clarence, George and Roswell; and a sister, Margie. Survivors include one daughter, Glenna-Jean Jones, Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Virginia Forrest and Dorothy Hannah, both of New Castle; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Services were held Thursday, February 16, 1995 at St. Julia’s Church.

STIMPSON, John Edward Stimpson, April 27, 1942 – February 15, 1995

John was born to Fern Dvorak and Chester Stimpson in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, where he also attended school until joining the US Navy. He was honorably discharged August 5, 1966 in San Jose, CA. He married Sandra Prudhome and had two daughters; was employed by IBM from 1966-1988 as a buyer and has resided in Tucson since 1978. John married Marilyn Shupe on August 29, 1983. John met Bill W. in August of 88. In October, 1989, he decided to continue Bill W.’s work and started “Safe House’ for recovering alcoholics and drug abusers at 3202 E. 31st St. In February, 1990, the Safe House was moved to a 16 apartment complex at 202 E. Mohave where, it is still in operation. John will be missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Sheri Stimpson of Tucson, and Barbara (Andy) Kapparin of Hancock, MI; three step-daughters, Cheri (Jon) Alberding of Decatur, IN, Teresa (Chris) Thompson of Tucson, Lisa (Michael) Stanski of Fort Wayne, IN; a step-son, Larry (Paul) Lautzenheiser of Tucson; two grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Safe House dining hall, 202 E. Mohave on Saturday, February 18, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to TMC Hospice.

WAINSCOTT, Marvin B., 84, of Tucson, died February 15, 1995. Survived by wife, Josephine; son, Randall; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at New Life Wesleyan Christian Center, 8900 E. Golf Links Rd. Burial in East Lawn Palms Cemetery will follow.

WALES, David Robert, 22, entered into rest February 14, 1995 after an accident in Spokane, WA. He was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, WA. Survivors include his parents, Robert and Bonnie Wales of Tucson, AZ; his sister, Tuesday Del Castillo of Tucson, AZ; grandparents, Alberta and Frank Wales, as well as Doris Irene Ansenault; a nephew, Brandon Del Castillo. RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, N. 4305 Division, Spokane, WA in charge of cremation.

BROSCH, Bessie E., dear beloved mother and grandmother, age 102, of Tucson, passed away February 12, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob E. Brosch. She is survived by two daughters, Irene Lewis and Florene O’Hara of Tucson; by two sisters, Blanche Jensen and Leona Kennel of Detroit; on granddaughter, Gail Lee; three grandsons, Jeff, Brett and Wade Lewis; one niece, two nephews and five great grandchildren. She will be remembered by her family for her long, active, creative life and the love and care which she showered upon us all. She is deeply missed and will remain in our hearts forever. A service of remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 1995, at ARIZONA MORTUARY, 7 East University Blvd.

CARABALLO, Aaron Caraballo. Our beloved 7 year old son graduated into life eternal. He has gone into the arms of Jesus. He goes before his family, his loving parents, Bobby and Monica, sisters Priscilla and Sarah; grandparents, Paul and Deedee Caraballo and grandfather, Ernest S. Villalobos. The family thanks their brothers and sisters in Christ for all the support during this time. Heartfelt thanks to medical staff who gave their special care to Aaron. CARLIN, James H., 27, of Tucson, died Sunday, February 12, 1995. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Jean Carlin and Charles H. Russell; grandmother, Hazel Carlin; three uncles, numerous cousins and companion, David Ruder. James worked for Carondelet, St. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s for 13 years. He was very thoughtful, caring and supportive of everyone he knew and he will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be at Metropolitan Community Church, 3269 N. Mountain Ave., at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 1995. Interment will follow at a later date at Pima Cemetery, Pima, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PACT for Life, P. O. CASKEY, Michael Steven, 44, of Tucson, died February 15, 1995 as a result of an auto accident. Survived by parents, Richard and Helen Farmer of Tucson; brothers, Mark A. Caskey of Gastonia, NC; Robert G. Caskey of Carpentersville, IL, Roger L. Farmer of Goldendale, WA; sisters, Annale Caskey, Lorraine J. Minich, both of Aurora, IL, Nancy J. Byars of Tucson, Joanne E. Calhoun of Mansfield, WA, Janet D. Gould of Carlton, WA. Predeceased by father, Edgar James Caskey, July 1973. Graveside Services Friday 3:00 p.m. Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Stuart C. Wilson, Assoc. Pastor Christ Community Church officiating. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

GUERRA, Manuel V., 75, of Tucson, passed away February 14, 1995. Survived by sisters, Carmen Spalding, Vicki Guerra, Mary Fonseca, Ana Quiroz, Andrea Borbon, Gloria Andruszkewicz and Irene Guerra; brothers, Jose Guerra and Gilbert (Guero) Guerra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 1995 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Saturday, 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Cathedral. Any donations can be made to the St. Augustine’s Cathedral Maintenance Fund. HUTCHISON, Lucille, 92, formerly of Algona, IA, died Tuesday, February 14, 1995. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joanne and Bob Ellis, and Nancy and Norman Newton; three grandchildren, Michael Newton, Ann Hughes and Kathryn Meredith; and one great grandson, Cameron Hughes. Memorial Mass will be at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church, 4725 E. Pima, 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 17, 1995. Interment will follow at Algona, IA. LANDERS, Samuel, 88, of Antelope, CA. Mr. Landers became engaged to Gertrude Cheplove 61 years ago on Valentine’s Day. After 60 years of marriage, Sam passed away February 14, 1995, Valentine’s Day, at the home of his daughter, Joyce Chazen, in Antelope, CA. Sam is survived by his wife, Gertrude formerly of Tucson, now of Antelope, CA; sister, Dorothy, of Buffalo, NY; daughter, Joyce (Marshall) Chazen; grandsons, Gary of Rocklin, CA, Lee of Reno, NV; Aron of Palo Alto, CA and great granddaughters, Jessica and Monica of Rocklin. Sam was predeceased by siblings Morris and Jeanette Landers and Henrietta Levine of Buffalo, NY, Annie Pillistine and Esther Greenburg of Boston, MA. A graduate of the University of Buffalo, School of Pharmacy, 1926, Sam became co-owner and proprietor of the Bison Drug Co., Buffalo, NY, for 32 years, retiring to Tucson, AZ in 1968. While in Buffalo, Sam served as President of Rho Pi Phi pharmaceutical fraternity and member of the Rho Gamma social club. While in Tucson, Sam was honored by then Governor Bruce Babbitt for his work for the hearing impaired. He has served as President of the Tucson Hearing Society and as President of the Senior Congregants at Temple Emanu-El and was active in the Pima (County) Council on Aging. Service Friday 3:00 p.m., February 17, 1995, EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call 1:00 p.m., till service time EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile. Remembrances may be made to the Tucson Hearing Society, 6821 E. Broadway, #219, 85710, or a charity of your choice.
