AUBUCHON, Merrell Joseph, passed away February 18, 1995 at 1:05 p.m. Preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Porrier Aubuchon. Survived by daughter, Judith Aubuchon of Tucson; son, Donald and his wife, Leeta Aubuchon of Tucson; grandsons, Gage his wife, Sylvia, Robert of Tucson, Duane of Pine Top; and a great granddaughter, Serena. Merrell was born in St. Louis, September 19, in 1905 and came to Tucson in 1949. He went to work for Valley National Bank in 1951 and retired in 1970 as Assistant Vice President of Operations. He was a member of the Randolph Men’s Club and Tucson Elks Lodge 365. He will be missed by his family and friends. Go with God Merrell. BATEMAN, Mary Anne Bateman, 78, of Oracle, AZ, died Saturday, February 18, 1995. Survived by her husband, Jay Bateman; three daughters, Anne Livingston of Phoenix, Stephanie Beneitone of Prescott, AZ, Mary Espinoza of Coolidge, AZ; brother, Harry Hendrickson of Oracle; ten grandchildren; other loving family members. MARTENS, Teddy (Ada), 82, of Tucson, died Sunday, February 19, 1995. She was employed with Mead Pharmacy for 35 years. Survived by her husband, Bud (Freeman) Martens of Tucson; daughter, Pamela Rector (James) of Tucson; brothers, Landen Standifer (Janell) Lake Havasu, Royce Standifer (Helen) of CA. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by many other brothers and sisters. RIEGEL, Ruth B., 81, a loving mother and grandmother, entered into the presence of the Lord on February 17, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Homer J. Riegel and her infant son, Roger Riegel. Mrs. Riegel is survived by her daughters, Carol (Kenneth H.) Brown and Lynda (Jim) Bauersachs, both of Tucson; beloved grandmother of Daniel and David Brown and Michael and Kristy Bauersachs; great-grandmother of four; dear sister of Glenna Thompson; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Riegel came to Tucson as a new bride 63 years ago and became active in church and civic affairs. She was a charter member of the Palo Verde Baptist Church, a 50 year member and a Past Worthy Matron of the Arizona Chapter #2 Order of the Eastern Star. She served on the supervisory board of the Tucson Chapter of Rainbow Girls. Mrs. Riegel had been an active member of local and State PTA Organizations. She owned and operated the Carol-Lyn Beauty Salon in Tucson for 20 years. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 1995 at the Palo Verde Baptist Church, 2151 N. TOLIVER, Gussie Lee, 66, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 16, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband Grady. She was a retired registered nurse at the McBride Clinic, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Nursing, and a Captain in the Army Nurse Corps, WWII. She is survived by husband, Howard F.
