(Clark) Bunker-Plasters and Robert E. (Ronna L.); brother of Donald C. (Lois) and Kenneth J. (Joyce); grandfather of six. Mr. Bunker retired from the Southwestern Casket Co., Tucson, AZ, in 1990 after many years in the business. Services were held at the First United Methodist Church in Royal Oak, MI. Encinas, Jr.; grandmother of Nichols Encinas; daughter of Martha Villegas; granddaughter of Juan Valenzuela; sister of Robert (Pauline) Villegas, Selso Villegas, Jr., Reynaldo (Olivia) Villegas, Rita (Henry) Garcia, Yolanda (Darrel) Whitman, Sylvia (Gilbert) Suarez and Irene (Bruce) Wilson; many nieces and nephews also survive. FLETCHER, Ronald Harvey, born March 22, 1930 in Chicago Heights, IL., died December 25, 1994 after a long illness. Beloved son of Harvey and Ruby Stricklin Fletcher; brother to Shirley Stander of Keensberg, CO; beloved husband and married to Ilene McNurlin Fletcher of Albion, NE in 1950; father of five children, Peggy, Ann Smithson, Ronald Harvey Fletcher, Jr., Coleen Gaye Cruz, Michael Leigh-Fletcher and Kathleen Kay Kloos and foster son, Victor Cruz; grandfather to Amy Lynne, Alissa Anne, Clay Randall Smithson, Jennifer Marie, Nicole Renee, Joshua David, Nathaniel Leigh Kloos, Rhonda Kay Fletcher, Kelley Jade and Patrick James Cruz. Ron moved to Tucson in 1957 from Omaha, NE and worked as a salesman for Western Lighting for 25 years. He served in the Marine Corps from 1949 until 1956 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He participated in the Dale Carnegie program and actively served the Tucson Community by helping organize Post #68. He was a Charter Member and served as a Commander for three years in Post #68. Ron also was a participant of Post #36, Post #59 and Post #7. He served in many leadership offices in the American Legion for 25 years, including District #2 commander. A Rosary and Memorial Service will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 1994. JAMES, Marilyn Sue, died Friday morning, December 23, 1994 at her home in Tucson, Arizona. Sue was raised in Stanberry, MO by Dr. Samuel and Maureen Simpson and lived in northwest Missouri most of her life before moving to Tucson in 1989. Sue was employed with Kino Hospital and is survived by three sons, Hal James of Columbia, MO, Robert of Yakima, WA and Kim of Tucson; two grandchildren, Libby and Mitchell; and her sister, Carojean Kirkhart of Santa Ana, CA. MCNAMARA, Daniel Jefferson Patrick, born April 10, 1935, died December 22, 1994. Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joan; his sons, John (Andrea) of Tucson and Daniel of Hawaii; grandchildren, Attie, Joshua, Alysia and Jesse. He will also be missed by the other children and grandchildren to whom he was so important – Linda Johnson of Mesa and daughters Nichole and Aimee, Eddie McNamara of Virginia Beach, VA, Cindy McNamara of Albuquerque, NM, Steven Smith and sons Jeremy and Jonothan, Daniel Smith and Connie Smith of Mesa and sons Stanley and Mitchel Sparks. MILLS, Ediana “Cindy’, 74 years old, died Tuesday, December 27, 1994 at home in Tucson. She has been in Arizona 42 years. Mrs. Mills is survived by daughter, Judith (Ralph) Bishop; daughter, Pamela (Richard) Green, both of Tucson; stepdaughter, Sandy (Ken) Scheidt of Buckeye; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. MODLIN, Mary J., 94, passed away December 27, 1994. Mother of Kenneth E. Modlin of Tucson since 1962 and Donna Steele of Tucson for 15 years; four grandchildren back East also survive. PEERS, James E., 92, died Wednesday, December 28, 1994. His wife Polly to whom he had been married for 52 years died in 1986. A retired taxidermist, Mr. Peers came to Arizona in 1922 from his native state of Texas by way of New Mexico where he worked as a cowboy. In Arizona he worked as a machinist for mines in Miami until he came to Tucson in 1927 and established Arizona Taxidermy on North Oracle Road. He then opened the Frontier Bar with the taxidermy shop. His taxidermy business was later moved to a different location on North Oracle Road and became Arizona Taxidermy and Swap Shop. His Frontier Bar became the Green Shack and was later known as the North Woods Restaurant. Mr. Peers is survived by a sister, Marjorie Jones; a niece, Janet Jones; and two nephews, Andrew G. Mills (Mary) of Tucson and David Mills of Safford, AZ. At the request of Mr. Peers there will be no services. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.
QUEEN, Sara Agnes, passed away peacefully into the arms or Our Lord on November 30, 1994 surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 6, 1930 in Newfoundland, Canada, she lived in Waltham, MA until 1987 when the family moved to Tucson. Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Margaret Young; and brother, Lawrence, all of Newfoundland. Survived by her husband of 41 years, Norman; daughter, Debra of Tucson; son, Donald of Tempe; son, David of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Doreen; and brother, Hugh, both of Newfoundland, Canada. A private Memorial Mass was held at St. Francis de Sales.

TRUJILLO, Marta Leon “Chata’, 63, born and raised in Tucson, passed away December 26, 1994. Preceded in death by sisters, Emelda T. Sosa, Olga T. Nagore; brother, Alex Trujillo; and parents Jose’ and Herlinda Trujillo. Survived by daughter, Magdalena “Nena’ Trujillo (Yolanda and son Jose’ Miguel Leyva); sons, Eli J. (Debbie) Caniglia Jr., Mark Andrew Caniglia; grandchildren, Angelica and Jessica Caniglia; sister Enedina T. (Barry) McClendon; brothers, Joe “Pepe’ (Ernestina) Trujillo, William “Guero’ (Edith) Trujillo; former husband, Eli J. Caniglia Sr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and the many extended family members that loved and will miss Marta. We all had a special and unique bond with Auntie “YaYa’, “Ata’, “Chata’, “Shorty’, “Marty’ and so many other names given to her con carino. Her voice singing the songs we hold dear to our hearts and the laughter we so easily shared with her will continue to live on with each flicker of light she lit within us. The family owned Elysian Grove Market which was family owned since the 1920's, was her first step working por la gente, in “Barrio Jardin.’ Later she pursued a career in nursing at St. Mary’s Hospital emergency room in which she continued service for 14 years caring for and comforting many with her compassion and humor. Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 1994 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral. Interment at Holy Hope will be held in private at a later date.
