BOEBINGER, Alice F., 88, died December 2, 1994. She was a resident of Arizona for 48 years coming from Pennsylvania. Mrs. Boebinger is survived by husband, Frederick of Tucson; and a daughter, Alice (George) Dempster of Colorado. She was known to be active in the Senior Now Generation and the Grace Lutheran Church. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 7, 1994 at 1:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, with Pastor Mark Hallemeyer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

COCHRANE, Darrell, died December 2, 1994 at 73 years. He was born in Croton, IA on March 9, 1921. Mr. Cochrane retired from Latchford Glass Company of South Gate, CA after 25 years. He lived in Tucson for five years. Survivors include wife, Leila; daughter, Roxanne Smith; son, Darrell Edward (Yolanda) Cochrane, all of Tucson; daughter, Linda (George) Jackson of Houston, TX; son, Jerry (Dino) Cochrane; and daughter, Linda Lou George, both of CA; brother, Perry Cochrane Jr. of Yuma, AZ; brother, Buck Cochrane of Rhode Island; sisters, Nelle McConnell, and Bette Baird of MO; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Mr. Cochrane is a WWII Veteran, Member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion. Private Memorial Services. Arrangements by SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY.

DAMRON, Marion B.,(Betty Marsch) 73, died December 4, 1994. Survived by her children, Nancy B. Bentley of Tucson, and William N. Damron of Valley Village, CA; brother, Richard Marsch; sister, Beverly Canfield; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Damron was a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine, Oasis Court #75 Daughters of the Nile and charter member of Olana Temple #131 Order of the Eastern Star. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetic Association, 40 N. Swan, Suite 116, Tucson, 85711. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. DILLISTIN, Wilbur H., 74, of Tucson, died December 4, 1994. Husband of Margaret H.; father of Gary R. (Nellie) Dillistin, Mark (Linda) Dillistin; two grandchildren, Latisha and Drew, all of Tucson; brother of Edward Dillistin of Vermont and Howard Dillistin of Virginia. Funeral Services private. JENSEN, Peter Martin, was born July 14, 1919 in Eureka, CA and grew up in Norway. He died December 2, 1994 in Tucson, AZ. M/Sgt. Jensen served 30 years in the US Air Force before retiring in Tucson in 1972. While in the service he and his family traveled throughout the world. He was a veteran of World War II and Viet Nam, where he received the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious service. Following retirement his activities included employment at the Estes Company and social functions at the NCO Club. He and his wife celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in November. He is survived by loving wife Mary Isabelle; daughters, Joanne (Clint) Brown, and Mary K. Jensen; grandsons, Kelly Lane, Theodore Harrell, and Byron (Kim) Brown; one brother, Jorgen; and many relatives in the US and Norway. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 1994 at Evangelical Lutheran Church of the King, 2450 S. Kolb Road. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Kidney Fund.

MACBRAIR, Donald G., 70, of Tucson, died December 3, 1994. Husband of Jenis A. of Tucson; father of Donald MacBrair of Wertz, VA, Michael MacBrair of Napa CA, Steven Barrett of Roseville, CA, Stanley Barrett of Sacramento, CA, Trent Rowley of Tucson, Monica McFadden of Carmichael, CA; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, also survived by four sisters, of Maryland; and many devoted friends. Mr. MacBrair was a member of VFW Post # 10188. Memorial Services will be held at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, Thursday, December 8, at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N First Avenue (888-1111).

MILLER, Robert J., 75, of Tucson, passed away December 4, 1994. Survived by wife, Pauline Abel Miller; daughters, Beth (Dan) Hawkes of Tucson and Ruth (Paul) Brown of Tucson; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer and Megan Hawkes, and Drake and Dakota Brown; sisters, Geraldine (Leo) Neiderberger of Winnetka, IL and Marilyn (Mel) Goldzband of La Mesa Ca. Mr. Miller was active with Lions International, Arizona Lions Eye Bank, Jewish War Veterans and the Veterans Affairs Committee of Tucson. Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Arizona Lions Eye Bank. Arrangements by Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd & Swan.

PEEL, Kenneth R., 68, passed away Monday, December 5, 1994. Survived by daughter, Sandra Ramage of MN; son, Tom Peel of NV; grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Kenneth Alexander and Kathryn; brothers, Donald and Edward. Services pending at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY.

SWARTZ, Scott T., 21, of Virgin Islands, formerly of Tucson, died Saturday, December 3, 1994. Arrangements pending at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

TRUJILLO, Mary M. “Werita’, 66, passed on to our Lord on December 4, 1994. Preceded in death by first husband, Frank Yanez; parents, Luz G. and Miguel A. Moreno; and sister, Edilia M. Flores. Survived by husband, Oscar C. Trujillo; and son, Frank (Mary Lou) Yanez; grandchildren, Paul (Maryanne) and Nissa Yanez; three great-grandchildren; also numerous stepsons and step-daughter, Margaret (David) Merendo; and step-grandchildren; also special beloved grandson’s, Adrian T. Amparano and Reyes Y. Verdugo; brothers, Manuel G. Moreno of Phoenix, AZ, Mike G. (Mary) Moreno of Sahuarita, AZ and Tony G. (Velia) Moreno of Tucson; and beloved sisters, Lucy M. (Alfred) Vitale and Terry Moreno of Tucson; numerous nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters-in-law and their children. WOODES, Minnie M., 71, of Tucson, passed away Saturday, December 3, 1994. Mrs. Woodes is survived by her sons, Frank (Jackie) Dombrowski of Tucson, David M. (Maria Cecilia) Dombrowski of Rio Rico, AZ, Joseph P. (Bonnie) Dombrowski of Tucson, Stephen K. Woodes of Colorado; sisters, Elsie C. Burleson and Phyllis J. Cagwin, both of New York; six grandchildren. Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 1994 at Our Mothers of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb, with burial to follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be half hour prior to service. KERN, Kenneth, 70, of Tucson, died Wednesday, November 30, 1994. Survived by wife, Betty; and sons, John (Debbie) Kern and Jeff (Carol) Kern; daughter, Linda (Jervonny) Collier; sister, Jo Ann Cook of IN; and three grandchildren. Kenny was a custom home builder in the Tucson area for many years having lived in Tucson since 1952. Friends may call 2:00 p.m. til 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. MANUEL, Isadore Paul, 80, of Tucson, died November 29, 1994. Survived by daughters, Barbara J. Chana, Beverly Throssell and Velma Pablo, all of Tucson; son, Kenneth Edward Manuel of Chandler, AZ; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. OVERLAND, Bernard O., 90, died Wednesday, November 30, 1994. Survived by daughter, Charlotte Cozzetto of Tucson; and son, Bernard J. PENNELL, Irene C., 77, resident of Tucson for 52 years, formerly of Maysville, Kentucky, died December 1, 1994. Preceded in death by her husband, Lowrey; and sister, Judith Summey. Survived by children: daughter, Carol Lynne Parham of Tucson; son, L. Thomas (Ruth) Pennell of Tucson, AZ; and daughter, Mollie June (Jeffery) Sills of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren, J. T. Parham, Pamela Parham, Tamara Pennell, Martin Deeb and Nicholas J. Deeb; two nieces, Andrea Mayhan and Barbara Summey, both of Phoenix; and one great-grandchild. Member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Ladies Elk’s Auxiliary, Flatlanders. She was employed by Southern Pacific Railroad for over 30 years. Services Tuesday, December 6 at 1:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Interment East Lawn Palms Cemetery. SEEBACH, Grace Elizabeth, a resident of Tucson for 18 years, and a member of Park Ave Christian Church, passed away November 30, 1994 in Tucson at the age of 83. Born January 15, 1911 in Charlestown, Indiana. Dear aunt of Mary Belle Brooks, Elinor Chapman and Robert Carlton. Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 1994 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, Rev. SMITH, Jack B. “Badger’, born December 16, 1916 in Waynesburg, PA. He died November 29, 1994 at Hospice Family Care at Tucson General Hospital. Jack moved to Tucson in 1931, attended Roskruge Jr. High, graduated from Tucson High School where he excelled in sports, and attended the University of Arizona for two years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II. He retired from Mountain Bell Telephone after 37 years as a plant forman. Jack was a Past Post Commander of Morgan McDermott Post #7, the American Legion, a member of 40 & 8, Voiture 73, a brother of the BPO Elks #385, a member of Santa Catalina Council, Telephone Pioneers of America where he served as President and was a Life Member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Jack was preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly Ann, and is survived by his wife of 48 years, Adelene; sons, Jeffrey John (Marie), Theodore Thomas (Donna Mommana), Philip Edward (Debbie); and daughter, Catherine Vaughn (Dan Arnit); brother, Morris J. (Ollie); brother in-law, Theodore Ashton (Dona); nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 215 S. Craycroft Rd. at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 1994. Interment services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for memorial plague at Reid Park Zoo, American Legion Auxiliary Spirit of Youth Foundation or the charity of your choice in memory of Jack B. Smith.
