VALENCIA, Juan Esteban, 65 years old, a life long resident of Arizona, died Tuesday, December 20, 1994 in Tucson. Mr. Valencia served in the Army during WWII and Korea. He is survived by son, John (Leticia), son, Fred, son, Alfonso (Anita), son, David; daughter, Manuela (Alvaro) Vasquez, daughter, Amelia (Fernando) Hernandez, daughter, Angela (Daniel) Yanez, all from Tucson; 18 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; brother, Pete Romero of California, brother, Geronimo Valencia of Apache Junction, AZ; sisters, Frances (Conrad) Duron, and Martha (Al) Moreas of Douglas, AZ, sisters, Jessie (Rogelio) Pina, and Rosemary Valencia of Tucson. His wife, Herminia died in March 1994. Family suggest donations be made to St. Monica Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, December 26 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. With Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL. WATSON, Robert E., 86, of Tucson, died December 21, 1994. He retired from New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. and was a volunteer at TGH for 18 years. COSENTINO, Anna A., 59, of Tucson, passed away peacefully into the arms of Our Lord on December 20, 1994 at home surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She had great love, faith and trust in Our Lord. She was born on August 2, 1935 in Italy. She emigrated to the United States after marrying her husband, Bruno, in 1955. She lived in Canton, Ohio until 1975, when the family moved to Tucson. She was known by many as Mrs. Bruno, working side by side with her husband at Bruno Custom Tailors and Men’s Wear for 17 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Luigi Armogida, and brother, Armando Armogida, both of Italy. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bruno; daughter, Catherine; son, Andrew; son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Donna; five granddaughters, Mari, Anna-Marie, Suzanne, Brianna and Catherine, all of Tucson. In addition, she is survived by her mother, Maria Antonietta Armogida of Italy; mother-in-law, Caterina Cosentino of Tucson; brother Enrico Armogida of Italy; brother, Salvatore Armogida of Ohio; sister, Catherine Cosentino of New York; sister, Cecilia Limardo of Italy; and brother, Giovanni Limardo ofItaly. DOONAN, Mona Eileen (Clarke), passed away December 24, 1994. Mother and best friend to Philip Doonan, Patricia Frazier, Pamela Walsh, and Paula (Bill) Hellsten. She was “Grams’ to Lori (Michael) Lange, John, Jim, Joe, Frank, Kelly, Lisa, Laurie, Andy, Paige, and “Great Gram’ to Michelle, Heather, Patrick, Stephen, Ian, Jessica, Bear, and Buffy. She was the sister of Nita (Philip) Bauer and aunt to their children, Fred and Judy. She will be dearly missed, but always in our hearts. Private Services will be held. BROWN, Edward Francis, 70, of Tucson, passed away December 1, 1994. He is survived by two daughters, two sons, two sons-in-law and two daughters-in-law; and 10 grandchildren, all of Tucson; one brother and two sisters of Chicago. COCHRANE, Darrell, 73 years old, died December 2, 1994. Mr. Cochrane lived in Arizona for five years. He is survived by wife, Leila; daughter, Roxanne Smith; son, Darrell Edward (Yolanda) Cochrane, all of Tucson; daughter, Linda (George) Jackson of Houston, TX; his grandchildren are Darrell Jason and Jeffery Cochrane, Abrigail Lyn and Amber Lin Smith, Tara Kendall and George Andrew Jackson. GEE, Celia F., 82, passed away at her home December 3, 1994. Preceded in death by her husband, Irven E. Gee. Survived by her children, Wilson E. (Donna) Gee of Crete, IL and Geraldene “GeeGee’ (Jim) Larrington of Tucson; her granddaughters, Gina Gee, Darla (Bob) Higgins, Tracey Gee, Jane Larrington and Dawn Larrington; her brothers, John Porterfield of NV, Charles Porterfield of Phoenix; and her sister, Lucille Allison of ID. Mrs. Gee was a longtime member of Catalina United Methodist Church and a member of the Family Motor Coach Association, the Arizona Roamers and the Antique Automobile Club. HAASE, Rev. Roland Ernst, was born in Sargeant, Minnesota on October 31, 1909, the second child of William Otto Haase and Pauline Franhke Haase. He died and entered his eternal rest on December 2, 1994 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Rev. Haase graduated from Concordia College, Conover, N.C. in 1929 and from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in 1932. He was ordained and installed in 1935 as pastor at the dual parish of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Farmville, VA and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Meherrin, VA. He later served preaching stations in Cumberland, Amelia and News Ferry, VA; mission congregations in Charlotte Hall and Indian Head, MD; and congregations in Conover, N.C., Irmo, S.C., Bradford, PA and Pittston, PA where he retired in 1975. In retirement he served as pastoral assistant at Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond, VA before moved to Green Valley and then to Tucson. Rev. Haase married Marie Margaret Dodl on September 29, 1936. She preceded him in death in December, 1978. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Martin Haase and two half sisters, Lena and Lily Boeff, all of Richmond, VA. He is survived by one daughter, Jeanne O’Neil and husband Michael of Vernon, CT; one son, Rev. Donald Haase and wife Joan of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren, Tim and wife Kare, Dan and Kelly O’Neil of Vernon, CT and Julie, Lara and Alisa Haase of Tucson, AZ. A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 3925 E. 5th Street, Tucson, on Tuesday, December 6 at 4:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or to The Lutheran Hour. MEES, Doris Claudia, 76, died Thursday, December 1, 1994. Widow of Quentin M. Mees, Sr. (1979) and a long time resident of Tucson. Mrs. Mees was a member of P.E.O. and active in many philanthropic endeavors prior to her illness. Doris has left behind many friends and people who cared for her over the years. ROSEBROCK, Richard A., 69, of Tucson, died December 1, 1994. HANNAHS, Richard, born January 20, 1913 in Bradford, PA, passed away January 5, 1995 at Tucson Medical Center after a short illness following a heart attack. Son of Harry and Anna Hannahs. He was employed by Proto Tool and Rane Tool as a quality control inspector in Jamestown, NY and operated a radio/television business for many years. He moved to Tucson in 1976 and a member of Catalina United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bessie Lindell Hannahs; daughter, Susan (Fred) Rains; son, Raymond (Chris) Hannahs; seven grandchildren, Shane Heyden, Kent Dainty, Anthony Gerbias Hannahs, all of Tucson, Troy Dainty of Phoenix and Nicchia (Michael) Leamers of Juneau, AK, Lawrence and Damian Hannahs of Dillingham, AK; a nephew, Donald Swanson; sister-in-law, Winifred Hannahs, both of Jamestown, NY. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Hannahs in 1918; his mother, Anna Hannahs Whitten in 1982; sister, Dorothy Fitzgerald in 1992 and a brother, Raymond Hannahs.
