MEDLEN, Jack, 85, resident of Nogales, AZ since the 1930s, passed away with his family at his bedside, Wednesday morning December 21. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bettie Medlen of Nogales, his daughter and son in law, Nancie and Wilmer Swerdfeger of Bakersfield CA, his son John Medlen, and grandson Shane Medlen of Tucson, his grandson Allen Swerdfeger of Bakersfield, CA, his granddaughter and grandson in law, Mary Lynn and Michael Ruehl of Tucson, his sisters Ruby Roscoe and Lora Bramlett of Tennessee and many many long time friends. At the request of Jack, no formal services will be held. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the home of Bettie and Jack on Monday, December 26 from Noon to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in the name of the deceased at Casa De Los Ninos, 347 E. WATSON, Robert E., 86, of Tucson, died December 21, 1994. He retired from New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. and was a volunteer at TGH for 18 years. Survived by wife, Lillian Watson of Tucson; daughters, Dorothy (Rodger) Kerwick of Bremerton, WA and Barbara (David) Costanzo of Vineland, NJ; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. HARRISON, Charles, 80 years, died Sunday, January 1, 1995. He was an Arizona resident for 46 years. INSLEY, Marion Winfield, 77, of Tucson, died Saturday, December 31, 1994. Survived by his wife, Sue; children, Deborah Lynn (Gerald) Angell, Gary Reed Insley; grandson, Charles Aaron Angell; brother, Russell L. Insley. Mr. Insley worked in the sign business his whole life as an artist, and designer and salesman. After moving to Tucson in 1960, he worked for many firms, including Hearn Sign Co., Circle X Signs, Rainbow Signs and Addisigns. Private family services will be held at a later date. REISMAN, George, 82 years old, died Sunday, December 31, 1994 in Tucson. Survived by many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews in Tucson, California, and Colorado. He had a life long friend, Ella Rubino. Mr. Reisman was dual member of Day Light Lodge #66 and Harmony Lodge. VREELAND, Paula W. Memorial Services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Philip’s in the Hills Protestant Episcopal Church, Tucson, Arizona for Paula W. Vreeland, 82, of San Jacinto who passed away Friday at her home. Inurnment will follow the services in the church columbarium, with the McWane Family Funeral Home, Hemet, CA in charge of cremation arrangements. She was born April 14, 1912 in Lamar, OK and had lived in San Jacinto for the past one year moving to San Jacinto from Tucson, Arizona where she had lived since 1930. She was a member of St. Philip’s in the Hills Protestant Episcopal Church, Tucson, Arizona and was a Graduate of the University of Arizona. She had been a homemaker for the past 60 years. She leaves her two sons, Walt Vreeland of San Jacinto and Keith Vreeland of Detroit, MI; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

COREY, Joseph, 75, of Tucson, died December 14, 1994. Survived by Ann, his wife of 46 years; his son, Barry; daughter, Gael; former daughter-in-law, Kathy; grandchildren, David, Pamela, Christopher and Jonathan; as well as many friends. Mr. Corey was a longtime lawyer who practiced in Colorado, and subsequently prosecuted in the organized crime division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He loved the law.
