Diaz; daughters, Rose Marie Ebarb and Rebecca (Jim) Salmen; sons, Ronaldo (Jane), Charles (Maria), Frank, John, Louis (Rosa) and Robert (Angie); sisters, Dolores Salas, Ruth Ortiz, Lupita Hernandez and Juanita Moreno; brothers, Mike, Edward and Manuel Cruz and Larry Martinez; also survived by 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. FJELD, Jeffrey Peter, of Tucson, died unexpectedly on October 21, 1994. He was born on June 9, 1956 in New Jersey. Jeffrey grew up in the Berkeley, California, of the 1960s – - and went through all of the highs and lows of those hectic and exciting days. He moved to Tucson in the early 70's. Jeffrey attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston, where he studied guitar and saxophone. In Tucson he attended Pima Community College, where he recently completed work on a nursing degree. He was looking forward to a career in nursing. Jeffrey was a creative spirit – one who enjoyed music and ideas. He enjoyed talking about intangibles and about abstractions with friends and family. He liked reminiscing at family gatherings. He enjoyed giving presents. Jeffrey is survived by his father, Per Fjeld of Berkeley; by two sisters, Anna Marie and Kirsten, both of CA; by a brother, Esteban, of Tucson; and by a grandmother, Marie of NV. He is also survived by a stepfather, William Azevedo of Tucson; by an aunt and uncle, Lenore and Paul, both of CA; by a niece, Deja – and by numerous cousins, all of CA. Jeffrey’s remains were cremated. His ashes will be scattered by friends and relatives in Arizona and California. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to another charity of choice. An informal gathering to celebrate Jeffrey’s life, for friends and relatives, will be held on Sunday, October 30 at 2340 E. Hawthorne – - starting at 4:00 p.m. A get-together the following weekend – on November 6 will be held in Berkeley, California for friends and relatives there.

As an avid fan of many sports, Glenn enjoyed playing and coaching Little League Baseball, Men’s Softball Tournaments in the local towns of the Tri-Community Area. He will be missed and always remembered in special ways by those who knew him.
