Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 1994 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (North Chapel), 204 S. WARNER, Joan C., 83, died October 16, 1994. Preceded in death by husband, George Warner. Survived by sister, Margaret Haggard of Tucson and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 19 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL. Burial in TMP, East Lawn. Mrs. Warner was born in Chicago April 19, 1911, was a longtime resident of Los Angeles and a resident of Tucson since 1974. WILKS, Wilma W., 84, died Friday, October 14, 1994. Widow of the late John T. Wilks and a Tucson resident for the past 13 years from Largo, Florida. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and George Bradley of North Ft. Myers, FL; a granddaughter, Diane C. Bradley of Albany, NY and a brother, Wayne Willard of New Kensington, PA. Graveside Services for Mrs. Wilks will be at Evergreen Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 19. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.

WILLS, Ray V., 78, of Tucson, passed away October 15, 1994. He is survived by wife, Mildred; children, Ray V. “Skip’ (Donna) Wills, Jr. of Tucson, Douglas (Rebecca) Wills of Walnut Creek, CA and Stephen (Linda) Wills of Orangevale, CA; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 18, 1994 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with Scripture Service at 6:00 p.m. at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd., (1 1/2 block North of Grant). Survived by daughters, Farell Chrispen of Tucson, Beverly Taylor of Tucson, Diane Day of MO, and Marcia Townsend of Tucson; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Berman of OH. CAPEN, Sylvia K., of Oro Valley, died October 16, 1994. Survived by husband, Robert; mother, Fern Schenck of Hall, PA; sisters, Elaine Covey of Baltimore, MD, Sharon Yost of Lock Haven, PA; brother, Harry Schenck of Lock Haven, PA. Mrs. Capen was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She was the past treasurer of the Oro Valley Christian Womens Club. Memorial Services will be held at First Evangelical Free Church, 4700 N. Swan Rd. on Sunday, October 23, 1994 at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Ceder Hill Cemetery in Mill Hall, PA. HARGIS, Grace Anna, 93, of Tucson, died Sunday, October 16, 1994. Preceded in death by her husband, George Raymond Hargis in 1982. Survived by her children, Sue Mossman of Madison, WI, William Hargis of Tucson; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. After 30 years of teaching school in Iowa, Mrs. Hargis retired to Tucson and continued her teaching at Happy Trails Nursery School. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and Phi Mu Sorority. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 1994 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., with Pastor Gary Roper of St. James United Methodist Church officiating. Private interment will be at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. KEETH, Lewis C., a resident of Tucson for 55 years, passed away October 15, 1994 in Tucson at the age of 85. Born October 26, 1908 in Iberia, MO. Mr. Keeth was the owner of Keeth’s Automotive Repair in Tucson for 25 years. Survived by his wife, Violet; Sons, Gary (Marya), and Richard (Sue); daughter, Lois (Dick) Petty; grandchildren, Gary Jr., Michael, Mari Richard Jr., William, Carrie, Michael, Guy, Brad, Julie, Kelly and Chad; great-grandchildren, Michael, Whitney, Tyler and Shawn; sister, Lela (John) Drier; brother, Lester (Opal) Keeth. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Lenora Keeth; sister, Ruby Groves; first wife, Mabel June “Duncan’ Keeth. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 20, 1994 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Friday at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, with Rev. LIBASCI, Alfonso M., Col., U.S. Army Ret., 89, of Tucson, died October 13, 1994. Survived by son, Alan Libasci of Sierra Vista; grandson, Donald Libasci of Tucson; great-granddaughter, Jessica Taylor Libasci of Tucson; and daughter-in-law, Kay of Tucson. Preceded in death by his wife, Maude; and two grandchildren. He was a graduate of Columbia University, a lifetime member of the NRA, and was the Administrator to the Pima County Hospital for 12 years.

MENAGER, Hector Frank, a former Tucson resident now living in Douglas, passed away at the Southeast Arizona Medical Center on Monday, October 17, 1994. Mr. Menager a 3rd generation Tucsonan was born on August 27, 1928 to Louis and Aurelia Menager a pioneer Tucson family. Mr. Menager attended Tucson schools, later worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for five years after which he worked for 33 years for SPCC in Toquepala, Peru until his retirement in 1990. Shortly after his retirement he moved to Douglas. Mr. Menager was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Rose Mary Menager of Douglas; daughters, Kathy Montoya of Douglas, Yvone (Tom) Mora of Phoenix, Lizy (Art) Lopez of Tucson and Lorraine (Neil) Cornelius of Green Bay, WI; foster son, Uli Schlick of Germany; sisters, Mary Smith and Alice Graham; brothers, Louie, Eddie, Jack and Art Menager; grandchildren, Jennifer Montoya Chapa, Bucky Montoya, Debi Mora, Michael Mora, Matthew Mora, Danielle Mora, Melisa Lopez, James Lopez, Randy Lopez, Bryan Lopez, and Neil Cornelius, Jr.; great-grandchild, Breana Chapa. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 1994 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Tucson with Father Jay Luczak officiating. PRUZZO, Raymond L., 57, of Tucson, died October 17, 1994. Survived by wife of 11 years, Jacki; father, Sam; mother-in-law, Rose Mayhew; sisters-in-law, Geri (Mike) Michalsky of Tucson, and Judith Pruzzo of Dallas; nieces; Danielle Michalsky and Nicole (Kenny) Sipos of Tucson, and Maria (Mike) Richards and Lisa Pruzzo of Dallas; nephews, Eric (Tawyne) and Brian Pruzzo of Dallas; great-nephews, Kenny Sipos, III of Tucson and Tyler Pruzzo of Dallas; great-niece, Samantha Sipos of Tucson. Ray graduated from Salpointe High School and Lamson’s Business College with a degree in accounting. In high school he played basketball and softball. He coached women’s slow pitch softball and took them to the state finals. He also loved the Arizona Wildcats. He was a Toastmaster for 25 years serving as President and Area Governor at various times. He helped form a Toastmasters at Florence Prison and was named Toastmaster of the Year for his work. He bowled for 25 years, participating in state tournaments every year and served on the Board of the Tucson Bowling Association. He currently was a member of the Just For Fun Dart League and coined the phrase “Ray Dart’ for his consistent ones. He was also an avid blackjack player and always was willing to share his blackjack skills with others. Although disables for some time, he embraced live and lived it to it’s fullest. He will be missed by everyone. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 1994. Memorial Services will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, on Friday, October 21, 1994 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Robert Ireland of Y’our Church officiating. Cremation will follow. RENCEHAUSEN, Jessie E., 64, died October 17, 1994. Husband of, Evelyn A. Rencehausen; father of, Joel Rencehausen of Tucson; grandfather, of Jeanae, Pharrah and Maxx; four brothers and three sisters also survive. SMITH, Agnes K., 101, died Monday, October 17, 1994. Widow of Donald D. Smith of and a Tucson resident for the past 48 years from Illinois. Survived by a daughter, Barbara (Fred) Nirschel of Tucson; by six grandchildren, Gretchen, Laura, Fred (3rd) and Bridget Nirschel, and Jennifer Carpenter, all of Tucson, and Bernadette Perez of South Carolina. BUETHE, 1st Sgt George Merton, USMC Ret., 77, passed away October 18, 1994. Husband of, Eloise Tuntland Buethe of Tucson; father of, Maj. George E. Buethe of Phoenix, Richard H. Buethe of Tucson and Mary Lou Buethe (Andrew) Howard of Yuma. Sgt. Buethe was a veteran of WWII. He was taken prisoner on Corrigedor and spent 3 1/2 years in Japanese POW Camps. After the war, Sgt. Buethe remained in the Marine Corps until retiring in Tucson in 1961. Mr. Buethe worked for the postal service until 1982 when he retired. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 21, 1994 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, with Rev. Kenton Rohrberg and Rev. Harry Rohwer officiating.
