BOUEY, Nicholas Sr., 82, passed away July 13, 1994. Nicholas is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dorothy; his loving family which consists of his son, Nicholas, Jr of Tucson; his daughter, Diane Horne; and son-in-law, Joe Horne of San Diego; his granddaughter, Nicole of Tucson; and his grandson, James of San Diego. Nicholas retired in 1972 after 30 years of faithfully serving his country as a Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Air Force. He took pride in his educational achievements which include a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona; certification in clinical criminology and social pathology from George Washington University; proficiency in English, Spanish, Japanese and history from the University of Maryland; certification of administration, security, law enforcement, military justice, and academic instruction from the United States Air Force. Nicholas was a skillful author whose works include children’s books. Nicholas and his family visited many parts of the world during his military career. CAVALETTO, Amadeo T., 101, died July 15, 1994. Survived by his children, Umberto (Marie) Cavaletto; Edward (Alice) Cavaletto; Magdalena (Ray) Bantista; Hortensia Doctors; and Oscar (Alma) Cavaletto; ten grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carlotta Van Deventer and Irene Valencia; Mr. Cavaletto retired from the Pacific Fruit Express after 33 years of service. He was the last living chartered member of the V.F.W. Post 549 and a member of numerous other veteran’s associations. McQUILKIN, Theresa Margaret, 76, passed away July 12, 1994 in Morristown, NJ. Born in Oyster Bay, New York, March 9, 1918. She and her husband, John H. McQuilkin moved to Tucson in 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband, and is survived by her two daughters, Patricia A. Mehrhoff (husband, Robert D. Nelson) of Tucson; and Catherine McQuilkin (husband, Barry L. ALBERS, Joe H., 63, of Tucson, AZ, died July 11, 1994 at the University Medical Center. He grew up in Du Quion, IL, attended Southern Illinois University, served four years in the Navy on a TR boat, moved to Tucson, AZ in 1955 and became owner of Dairy Queen #6 for 37 years on Prince and Stone known as the Amphi Dairy Queen. He attended Sacred Heart Church. He supported a multitude of school activities, well known for his volunteer work in the Amphi School District, neighborhood assoc., and his generosity to many other Youth Teams, Schools and Charity. He is survived by his wife, Mavis Bennett Albers; daughters, Michelle Vaccaro (Frank), Deborah Stephens, Carrie Durham (Chuck); and son, Michael Albers (Kathy); his eight grandchildren, Bradley, Roxanne, Lynnette, Dyann, Megan, Gina, Phillip Joseph, Eric; and sister, Marlene (Merill) Wolfe. LISTON, Horace “Bud’, 79, of Casa Grande, AZ, formerly of Tucson, died Thursday July 14, 1994. Born April 6, 1915 in Canada. He served in the U.S. Merchant Marines, founded his own alcohol and drug abuse help group called SOS (Sharing Our Success) in 1984. He is survived by wife, Celestia Liston of Casa Grande, AZ; two sons, George Robert Liston of Manistee, MI and Thomas Bruce Liston of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Delores J. Wood of Casa Grande, AZ and Robertha Susan Autz of Prescott Valley, AZ; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Ann Liston in 1976. BEVAN, Billie B., Major, USAF, Retd, 70, died July 12, 1994. Survived by his wife, Thelma Bevan of Tucson; children, Lana (Dick) Wells of CO; Barbara (Scott) Vaugn of NB; Cheryl Knauer of Tucson; Pamela Crawford of TX; Bruce B. Bevan of Tucson; stepfather, Gregor Mellan of IN; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Bevan graduated with a B.A. in Engineering from the Chicago Technical College. He was in World War II as a pilot of a B-25 and was in Vietnam for one year. He retired in 1968 after 25 years in the Air Force with the rank of Major. He served as Nuclear Security Officer. He graduated from Central High School in Kansas City and also from the University of Illinois, 1931. Preceded in death by wife, Sara Cunningham.
