WITTE, Melvin A. Sr., 63, of Tucson, died Monday, July 18, 1994. Survived by his wife, Marilyn; five children, Melvin A. (Kathy) Witte Jr., Roxanne (Bill) Basler, Denise (Raul) Martinez, John (Theresa) Witte, Paula (Edward) Wittke; 15 grandchildren. Mr. Witte worked as an electronics technician for TUSD, retiring after 26 years of service. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, July 21, 1994, 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church, 215 S. Craycroft Rd.
AYERS, Doris M., 71, passed away Saturday, July 16, 1994. Loving wife of Howard T. of Tucson; loving mother of Vivian of Seattle; two sisters also survive. Mrs. Ayers moved to Tucson in 1956, was owner of numerous restaurants and employed by DES for 21 years. Memorial Service Wednesday, July 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Rincon Congregational Church, 122 N. KELSON, George, 34, passed away June 25, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born April 20, 1960 in Salt Lake City to Roger and Nancy Peterson Kelson, married Clarice “Reecee’ Beck September 25, 1993 in Salt Lake City. Survived by wife, Reecee Beck; mother, Nancy; children, Kevin, Laura, Lindsey, Sydney and Megan; brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services were held June 29, 1994 in Salt Lake City with burial by the Morman Church at Bluffdale Cemetery, Bluffdale, Utah.

QUIHUIS, Charlie M. Quihuis, age 22, passed away July 15, 1994. VALDEZ, Jesus U., 89, of Tucson, passed away July 16, 1994. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mercedes G. Valdez; and his daughter, Lupe V. Zabaleta; and son, Ernesto Valdez. PUGH, Grace Lucile, 81, of Tucson, died July 14, 1994. Survived by daughter, Juanita (Larry) Rhoads of Tucson; sisters, Tressie Kenshalo and Jessie Shull, both of Lincoln, IL, and Bert Billings of Decatur, IL; two grandchildren, Mark Rhoads and Sharri (Bob) DeLong; four great-grandchildren, Michael and Sean DeLong, Jimmy and Candace Rhoads. Mr. and Mrs. Pugh moved to Tucson in 1954 from Illinois. Mr. Pugh was a minister at Pima Street Baptist Church for nine years. He preceded her in death in 1987.
