LUNSFORD, Norman M., 91, of Tucson, died Friday, September 2, 1994. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Elizabeth; son, Jay (Barbara) Lunsford; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Lunsford has been a Tucson resident since 1943. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Gideon’s International. He worked for the University of Arizona where he was Supervisor of Student Housing. PETERS, Anne C., 83, died August 27, 1994 after a short illness. Survived by two daughters, Grace Rich of Tucson and Mary Elin Jenkins of Honolulu; a grandson in Phoenix; granddaughter in Honolulu; and a brother, Edward Peters in Detroit. Anne was a writer for the Grosse Pointe News, Grosse Pointe, MI and a librarian for the Arizona Daily Star and University Medical Center in Tucson. A Memorial Service is planned for December, 1994. RIES, Evelyn B., 52, died September 1, 1994. Survived by parents Rolf and Marian Ries and sister Vivian Ries all of Tucson. BOWMAN, Barbie B., an Arizona Native and resident of Bisbee, AZ for 31 years, died Friday, September 2, 1994. She is survived by her husband, R. Lewis Bowman of Bisbee; two sons, Dr. David G. Bowman and Douglas E. Bowman, both of Tucson; and four grandchildren. Interment will be held at Double Butte Cemetery, Tempe, AZ, with private family graveside services. BRACAMONTE, Francisca “Panchita’, 83, of Tucson, passed away on September 2, 1994. CRUICE, David Alan, 36, of Tucson, passed away September 1, 1994. Preceded in death by his mother Patsy. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends, Dan, Tara, Mark, Tom, Abe, Andy, Craig, Larry, David and many more. David was a 1980 graduate of the University of Arizona. David loved classical music, traveling, and collecting unusual objects from different places. David has a unique sense of humor appreciated by those who knew him well. He will be missed. ALBERTSON, Jack, 70, of Tucson, AZ., passed away September 1st, 1994. He was a loving husband of 48 years, and father of four. He is survived by wife June, daughters, Sandra Torrez of Scotts Valley, CA and Janis Fillhart of Telluride, Colo., sons, Gary of Holt, Mich. and Michael of Haslett, Mich. Also survived by sisters Marilyn Chapman of Lansing, Mich. and Enid Kerr of Tucson, AZ, and two grandchildren. He was a native of Lansing, Mich. He served 3 years in the Army Air Force during World War II and was a prisoner-of-war for one year in Germany. He was a graduate of Michigan State University and was owner of Edington Rug Co. in Lansing Mich for over 30 years. He was a longtime member of the Lansing Chamber of Commerce and Elks Lodge. Relocated to Tucson in 1988. Family wishes to thank staff and nurses at St. Joseph Hospital, the very capable paramedics and special thanks to Dr. Richard Smock.
