(Fred) Kelly, of Tucson; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Kenderski, of Stratford, CT. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne; and granddaughter, Meghan Anne Kelly. Graveside Services Saturday, May 21, 9:30 a.m. at Holy Hope Cemetery. ROMEO, Domenico, 70, died May 18, 1994. Survived by his wife, Maria Romeo; children, Carmelo (April) Romeo, Osvaldo “Pietro’ (Esperanza) Romeo and George (Susan) Romeo; sisters, Carmela Alfarone, Rosa (Carmelo) Schirripa; brothers, Rocco (Crelia) Romeo, Vincent (Lillian) Romeo and Antonio (Ida) Romeo; grandchildren, Vanessa, Juliana and Dominic. Mr. Romeo was preceded in death by a sister, Anna. Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco, with interment to follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Scripture Service 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 20 and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 19 and 20 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

STRICKLER, Eunice N., of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, died November 21, 1993. She was predeceased by her husband, Glen W. Strickler. Survived by son, Malcolm D. and daughter Nancy J. Peltzer; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and loving companion, David A. Bavlitschko of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Inurnment will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 1994 at St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church.

BADILLA, Sofia Romo, 70, died May 17, 1994. Survived by children, Jesus (Liz), Anita (Larry), Ray (Lesly), Mary (Richard), Art and Sonia (Rick); sisters, Alice and Carmen; brothers, Joe and Roy, all of Tucson; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Mass will be offered 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 20 at St. Margarets Catholic Church, 801 N. Grande. CHENAULT, Anne L., 71, of Glendale, AZ, died May 12, 1994. A former resident of Tucson, she was retired from Culinary work. She was born in Kentucky. Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Parkhill of Phoenix; son, James Brown of Texas; three grandchildren, John Turner of Phoenix, Stacy and Tim Brown of CA; two sisters, Dorothy Woodward and Loraine Cessna of Tucson. Services were held in Phoenix.

DEVEE, Thelma M., 93, of Tucson, died May 16, 1994. Survived by husband, H. Dale DeVee, of Tucson; daughter, Nancy D. (Grant) Bruckner, of Marana; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Memorial Services Friday, 11:00 a.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY CHAPEL, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile with Reverend George R. Connelly officiating. Private Interment to follow Evergreen Cemetery.

EVANS, John R., 80, of Tucson, died May 17, 1994. He was born June 18, 1913 in Burlington, CO. Survived by his wife, Estalene Evans; sons, Milton M. and Evan B. Evans, all of Tucson; brother, Milton A. Evans; sisters, Edna Barnhill, Lucille Fesler, Genevieve McKim, all of Colorado Springs, CO; seven grandchildren. Graveside Services Friday, 10:30 a.m. Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

FLYNN, Richard, 16, passed away May 14, 1994. Richard was a student at Sahuaro High School. Survived by mother, Rosemary; brothers, Duane and Joseph; and sisters, Robin and Katherine. Memorial Mass will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, 1994 at our Mother of Sorrows Church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd. Remembrances may be made to Spina Bifida Association of Southern Arizona, P.O. HUMPHREY, Laura Valita, 65, of Tucson, died May 15, 1994. Survived by sons, Douglas Humphrey, Jr., of Tucson, Don (Belinda) Humphrey, of Alamogordo, NM; daughter, Deborah Humphrey, of Tucson; brother, William (Jean) Tripp, of Brandon, FL; sisters, Annette (Walter) Johnson, of Sarasota, FL; Justine Lee; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Tripp, both of Sanford, FL; grandchildren, Craig and Christopher Humphrey. Services were held in Tucson, Tuesday. Graveside Services and Interment Mountain Acres Cemetery, Mayhill, N.M. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association. KATAFIASZ, Gerald, 43, of Tucson, passed away May 9, 1994. Survived by mother, Alice, of Tucson; sister, Marlene (Don) Mims, of Douglas, AZ; brother, Thomas (Mary) Katafiasz, of Salina, KS; and by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. LANKARD, Betty L., 74, of Tucson, died May 15, 1994, following a very long illness. Survived by her husband, Robert Lankard, of Tucson; three daughters, Deborah Mork, of Tucson, Roberta Dupere, of Fall River, MA, Judith Felt, of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Tom Lankard, of Detroit, MI; sister, Mary Wagle, of San Diego, CA; sister-in-law, Lyla Allmand, of Detroit, MI; numerous nieces and nephews, 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. MITCHELL, Clyde, 75, of Tucson, died May 13, 1994. Survived by stepsons, Bruce Paul of Tucson; Ole Paul of MI; and James Paul of IL; stepdaughter, Charlotte G. MONREAL, Antonio R., 46, of Tucson, passed away May 15, 1995. Survived by wife, Gloria Monreal; parents, Antonio and Maria Luisa Monreal; son, Antonio (Christina) Monreal III; daughter, Shirley (Joey) Garza; sister, Linda (Hector) Youtsey and Eva Estella Florez; also survived by nine grandchildren, Antonio Xavier, Ashley Nicole, Marcos Antonio, Marissa, Joey Jr., Desiree, Jacob, Jason and Katarina; also many aunts and uncles. Visitationwillbe held on Wednesday, May 18, 1994 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY (North Chapel), 204 S. Stone Avenue with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Thursday, May 19, 1994, 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Cathedral. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. ODA, Robin Adair Masao, 34, died May 15, 1994. Preceded in death by his father Roy Oda. He is survived by his wife, Heather Williams; son, Terry Oda; daughter, Jasmine Williams; his mother and step-father, Rosemary and Stan Lebinski, of Poxville, AR; brothers, John Oda, of San Bruno, CA, Billy Van Deutekom and Teddy Van Deutekom, both of CO; sister, Vicky (Bob) Kath, of Denver; mother-in-law, Hope Williams; brother-in-law, Jason (Pam) Williams, of Tucson; sister-in-law, Rae Williams (Mike) Manolakes, of Bowling Brook, IL; special friends, Chuck and Robbie Richardson, of Tucson; and many other friends. As a teacher and a nurse and certainly as a father, husband, son, brother and friend, Robin will be greatly missed. In place of flowers, family asks donations be made to the American Heart Association, 5325 E. Pima, Tucson, AZ 85712 or a tree be planted in Robin’s memory. SLADEK, Helen Murphy, age 95, died May 16, 1994 in Tucson. Mrs. Sladek was a native of Chicago, IL. She had lived in Tucson since 1975. She is survived by her sons, William E. Murphy of Tucson and Chester W. Murphy of Colorado Springs, CO; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth H. Murphy of Austin, TX, Thomas E. Murphy of Tucson, Thomas Carrington and Anthony Murphy of San Francisco, CA. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Parish. Private Burial will be at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. ARCHULETA, Don E., 54, of Tucson, died September 1, 1994. Survived by daughters, Donna (Robert) Montoya of Ft. Garland, CO and Jenny (Juan) Lara of Tucson; grandchildren, Seana, Robert, Isaac, Mario, Juan III and Genevieve. Dad we love you very much, you will always be in our hearts and thoughts.

FROHLICH, Marian D., 63, beloved wife of Wes Frohlich, formerly of Downers Grove, IL, died Friday, September 2, 1994, in Tucson, AZ. She is survived by her husband, Wes; children, Marisue (Richard) Plett of Tucson, James (Barbie) Frohlich of Naperville, IL, Wendy (Michael) Kundit of Ingleside, IL, George (Stephanie) Frohlich of Round Lake Beach, IL and Diane Frohlich of Tucson; grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelly, Danny, Katie and Jenny; brothers, Richard Baker of Tucson, James Baker of Downers Grove, IL; and sister, Clare Cave of Spokane, WA. She recently retired as Fiscal Director of the Perimeter Bicycling Association of America and was formerly a partner in Campers/Trailer Supply Company of Downers Grove, IL. She was also past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Century Post 503, Downers Grove, IL. She was a graduate of Nazareth Academy of La Grange, IL. Visitation 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway, 881-0338, with Mass on Monday, September 5, 10:00 a.m., at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd., Tucson. Interment will be at Veteran’s National Cemetery, Cave Creek, AZ on Tuesday, September 6, 1994.
