HISCOX, Phyllis Ann (Pat), 56, died Tuesday, August 16, 1994 at her home in Tucson. Survived by her husband Glen R. (Bud) Hiscox; daughters, Lori (Mike) Chapman, Leslie (Bill) Nieman and Lisa (Matt) Linder and son, Steven (Belinda). She was a homemaker and mother, especially fond of her nine grandchildren. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Chapel, 3015 North Oracle Rd, Tucson, Az.

KUSKE, Dorothy M., 76, of Tucson, passed away August 17, 1994. Survived by daughters, Joyce “Jo’ Klostriech of Tucson, and Janice L. Francis and her husband Jere of Southlake, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be 3:00 p.m. Friday August 19, 1994 at St. Joseph’s Church (in the chapel), 215 S. Craycroft with Father Lawless officiating. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the T.M.C. Hospice. Arrangements by Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan.

AMAN, John J., 76, died July 31, 1994. Survived by his children, John Aman of Tucson; Patricia Bird and Joan Hasen, both of CA; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services and interment in San Pedro, CA. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

BOYD, Charles A., 69, died August 1, 1994. Survived by his children, April Watt of PA; John Boyd of NY; Shelley O’Hana of Tucson; Lisa Coates of VA; and the late Rocco Boyd; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren also survive; sisters, Christine Boyd of NJ; Gertrude Simmons of NJ; and brother, John Boyd of Chicago. Funeral Services and interment in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

CORLIES, William M., III, born September 4, 1948 in Green Bay, WI, the son of William M. and Marie H. Corlies. He died in Dublin, CA July 27, 1994. Survived by parents; brothers, Jerry (Christine) of Tucson, Michael (La Wand) of Durango, CO, Kenneth (Barbara) of Brea, CA; nieces, Tegan and Tara and Kristin. Memorial Mass Monday, August 8, 1994 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco.

DEBRUYNE, Emil M., 81, of Tucson, passed away July 30, 1994. He is survived by sons, John and his wife Gladys of TX; Paul and his wife Isabelle of England; daughter, Helen and her husband Clarence White of CO; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter. Emil Debruyne was a permanent Roman Catholic Deacon. He was preceded in death by wife, Helena in 1993; and daughter, Christine in 1978. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 1994 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment of cremains, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4 at East Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan.

DILLOW, Charles S., 70, of Tucson, AZ, died July 27, 1994. A member of the 95th Airborne during WWII, he was shot down over Germany and became a POW for 18 months. Survived by wife, Antoinette; two sisters, Pauline and Mary; five children; and seven grandchildren. Services are private.

KLOEFKORN, Dean L., died July 30, 1994. He leaves behind his loving wife, Judy; his children, Scott, Leta Kay; also Kim and Gary Branges; one grandson, Dustin Branges; stepchildren, Mike and Cindy Widup; Kathy Widup; and Greg Widup; also step-grandchildren, Brittany, Carly, Wesley, and Greggory; sisters, Mrs. Don (Imogene) Hilton; Mrs. Charles (Wanda) Biggs; brothers, Marvin and wife, Frances; Glenn and wife, Eileen; Merle and wife, Yvone; many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service, Tuesday, 22nd Street Baptist Church, Tucson, AZ, 6:30 p.m. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE CREMATION and BURIAL.

LISKA, Robert Lee, 68, of Tucson, died July 31, 1994. Arrangements pending with ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N Dodge Blvd (at Speedway).

GONZALEZ, Joseph P. “Joe’, 92, died July 31, 1994. Father of, Alfred Gonzalez of Tucson, and David H. Marmion of San Jose, CA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Private Entombment Services were held. Memorial Mass will be offered 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 5, at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Mr. Gonzalez was a lifetime member of the Carpenters Union for over 55 years. Arrangements by BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. Scott.

HAINES, Schulyer, infant, died July 27, 1994. Survived by her parents, Jerry and Susanne Haines; brother, Kyle Haines, all of Tucson; grandparents, Stanley and Mary Gydesen and King and Thelma Alberts; great-grandparents, several aunts, uncle, and cousins also survive. Funeral Mass 9:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, at Davis Monthan AFB Chapel #2, with Chapin Lawson officiating. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

HARRIS, Ricky Dennis, 44, of Tucson, died July 29, 1994. Survived by wife, Chris; sons, Timothy and Dustin; grandson, Christopher; brother, Larry; and sister-in-law, Karen. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., where friends may call one hour prior to service. Burial will be in East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

HERRING, Margaret Ann “Grandma Margie’, 71 of Tucson, died August 1, 1994. She was born July 21, 1923 in Durant, OK, and was a waitress for 20 years at Congress Grill. She was well known in the downtown area for helping others and became known as Grandma Margie. She is survived by daughters, Joyce Ann Bradley of Washington, D.C. and Linda Caudle of Tucson; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial Services held Friday, August 5, 1994, 6:00 p.m., at EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Private interment Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

MEEHAN, Ethel L., passed away July 30, 1994 in Tucson at the age of 86. Survived by daughter, Elaine L. Appels-Meehan; three grandchildren, Ronald, Glen, and Sonja Appels; sister, Mildred Siewertsen of NY. Nicheside Services held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. MITCHELL, Lillie, age 68, of Tucson, AZ, born in County of Longford Ireland, passed away August 1, 1994. Survived by sons, Eamon (JoAnn) Mitchell of NJ, Brian Mitchell, Dennis Mitchell; daughters, Noreen Mitchell, Maureen (Robert) Hanlon; grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, and Liam Hanlon, all of Tucson; brothers, Jimmy Pettit of NY, Thomas Pettit of Ireland; sisters, Kathleen McCloughlin of Ireland, Esther Clyne of CT, Phyllis McClusky of Scotland. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, James in December 1993. Friends may call at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave, on Wednesday, August 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8650 North Shannon Rd. Burial will be at Holy Hope Cemetery.

SANDERS, Autie, 82, of Tucson, passed away on August 1, 1994. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ina Fae of Tucson; and only child, J. Kenneth of Honolulu, HI, and his wife Cathi; his grandchildren include, John, Jeff, Brian, Riley and Julia. He was preceded in death by two younger brothers, “Chig’ and Garnet. He came to Tucson in 1934 from Artesia, New Mexico. Friends may attend the open-casket viewing at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 1994, followed by the Service at 10:00 a.m., with Doc Wilson officiating. Graveside Service will be held at South Lawn Cemetery immediately after the procession arrives, approximately 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the deceased requested a donation to the First Southern Baptist Church or to ones favorite charity. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), Tucson, AZ.

MILLS, Margaret E., 89, of Alamogordo, New Mexico, passed away Friday, July 29, 1994. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert. She is survived by her son, John Mills; daughter, Susie Cookey (George); cousin, Keith Leon Engle (Jean); three grandchildren, Niels Cookey (Helen), Diane Barnett (Nathan), and Chris Jensen. Also two great-grandchildren, Michael and Gary Cookey. Mrs. Mills was a devoted nurse and loving person and will be missed by all. Services will be at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave., at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, with Pastor Don O’Donnell of Canyon Del Oro Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, August 2, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY.

PETERSON, Rowland F., 83, of Tucson, died July 31, 1994. Survived by wife of 62 years, Annette; daughter, Suzy F. DeBus; grandson, Jamie DeBus, all of Tucson. Mr. Peterson was involved with marketing for Bell and Howell, Chicago; and Traid Corp., Encino, CA; and was employed locally with DES. Memorial Service 2:30 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 1994 at ARIZONA MORTUARY CHAPEL 7 E. University Blvd at North Stone, with Dr. Dale E. Hewitt of Northminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.

RAUH, William Edward Martin Rauh, 84, of Tucson, passed away August 1, 1994. Survived by wife of 62 years, Aline; sons, William Jr. (Dorothy); Robert (Patricia); daughters, Patsy (Lawrence) Reynolds; Inga (Joseph) Beavers, all of Tucson; Clara (George) Smith of Cochise, AZ; and Kathy (Stan) Ferris of Mammoth; brother, Herman Rauh of Jackson, CA; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Mr. Rauh was born May 10, 1910 in Burkburnette, Texas. He came to Tucson in 1932 with his bride and worked as a baker at Pool’s Bakery. He later owned and operated Wilson’s Bakery where he made the best danish and wedding cakes in town. Mr. Rauh also was employed by the Arizona Inn and TUSD after he sold Wilson’s. He was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church, where he served in many capacities. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N Dodge Blvd (at Speedway), from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 1994. Services will be held at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 830 N. 1st, with Pastor Mark Hallemeyer officiating. Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be floral or to Grace Lutheran Church, 830 N. First Ave. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N Dodge Blvd (at Speedway).

SUMNER, Bill, born October 15, 1952 in Madison, WI, died August 1, 1994 in McCall, ID at the Payette Lakes Care Center. Son of John S. and Nancy Sumner who preceded him in death. Bill was a graduate of Tucson High School. Survived by his children, Jenna and Chad Sumner; sister, Marjie S. Fields of Portland, OR; and brother, John R. Sumner of Houston, TX. Memorial Service is pending in McCall, Idaho.

THURMAN, James P., Jr., 82, died Friday, July 29, 1994, Tucson. Survived by wife, Rose Thurman of Vail, AZ; son, George Thurman of Tucson, AZ; one granddaughter, Jamie Feczko of Vail, AZ. Full Military Honors will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, at the Veterans National Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ. Arrangement handled by WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway, 881-0338.
