GILLUM, Ronald L., 47, of Tucson, passed away Sunday, May 15, 1994. Survived by loving wife, Lucinda; sons, Jack and Robert of Tucson, Roger of AR; daughter, Rebecca of CA; parents, Lloyd and Cora Gillum of OH; one brother and sister also survive; loving mother-in-law, Sally Monasmith. Mr. Gillum was born in Wheelwright, Kentucky, and moved to Ohio when he was a youngster. He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in 1964 and served two tours of duty in Viet Nam and was awarded the Purple Heart and numerous other service medals. Mr. Gillum was Honorably discharged in July 1972 with the rank of Tech Sgt. In August, 1972 he became a Police Officer with the Tucson Police Dept. During his tenure with TPD he was a training officer for 15 years and a Lead Officer for eight years. He was awarded the Police Department’s Merit of Service and numerous other commendations. Mr. Gillum retired from TPD in May 1993. The Gillum family suggests any memorials be sent to Christ Presbyterian Church “Building Fund’, 6565 E. Broadway, Tucson 85710 in Ron Gillum’s Memory. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 1994. Services will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6565 E. Broadway, Thursday, May 19, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Skelly. Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

KETCHUM, E. Gillet, 83, died May 14, 1994. Tucson resident for the past 18 years. Survived by his wife, Marion; stepchildren, Robin Smith of New York City, Robert Blum of Ambler, PA; and by three stepgrandchildren. Mr. Ketchum was a clinical psychologist specializing in children’s learning disorders at the Psychiatric Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. There will be no public services. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.

POLAND, Louis L., 61, of Tucson, passed away May 16, 1994. Survived by wife, Donna of Tucson; sons, Michael, John, and Richard Poland, all of Tennessee; sons, Russell and Don Collins of Tucson; daughters, Rosemarie and Jo Taylor of Tucson; six grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Poland was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Tucson Aerie No. 180. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 19 at ARIZONA MORTUARY, 7 E. University Blvd, with the Rev. Cecil Drake officiating. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.

SEAGONDOLLAR, Owen, 86, of Tucson, died Saturday, May 14, 1994. Survived by two sons, Jan of Tucson and Lee of Palmer, Alaska. Mr. Seagondollar was the owner of Seagondollar Music Store. No services will be held. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

STACY, Robert E., 54, died suddenly of natural causes on May 15, 1994. Survived by wife, Susan Stacy; children, Robert (Diana) Stacy, Jr., Jim Lakey, Barbara (Bill) Miller, Bobbi (Matt) Houston and Debbie (Greg) Payne, all of Tucson; sisters, Helen (Bob) Cooke, Pat (Don) Crockett, Linda Lakey and Carol James; mother-in-law, Lavone Hickman; grandchildren, Jessi, Cody, Jason, Ashli, Ben, Jeremy, Tanner, Trevor, Stacy Sue and Dee. Mr. Stacy was owner/operator of Stacy’s Plumbing and Stacy’s Tool and Supply. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of own’s choice. Committal Service 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, TMP South Lawn, with Reverend Jack Miller officiating. Memorial Gathering at the family residence immediately following the graveside service. WILCOX, Marguerite C., 85, of Tucson, passed away May 15, 1994. Preceded in death by husband, Walter E. Wilcox. Survived by children, Betty (Victor) Schwanbeck and Gene (Geneva) Wilcox; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; and nephews. Survived by many friends. Mrs. Wilcox retired in 1960 after more than 30 years of service with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Nile and Order of the Amaranth. Funeral Service, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 19 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, with interment to follow at TMP South Lawn. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Daughters of the Nile, Convalescent Relief Fund, c/o Recorder Frances Butts, 1042 N. Caribe, Tucson, 85710. ZAHARIA, Edgar A., Ph.D., Lt. Col. Ret., 73, of Tucson, died May 15, 1994. Husband of Dorothy E. of Tucson; father of Eric S. Zaharia of Park City, UT, Lynn M. Kincaid of Lake Oswego, OR, Maureen R. Gerard of Phoenix, AZ, Randal L. Zaharia of Lakewood, CA, Janet E. Atencio of Tucson; 10 grandchildren; brother of Mary Patterson, Hilda Pritchett and Elsie Gordon, all of CA. Funeral Service will be held at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, Wednesday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N. 1st Ave., (888-1111) Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until Service Time.

ADDINGTON, Edward Burwell, 81, passed away Sunday, June 19, 1994 at his home in Swan Lake Mobile Home Estates. He was born in Jay County, Indiana on September 30, 1912, where he was a Pennville, Indiana farmer for many years. He moved to Tucson in 1978 after the death of his wife, Yetive (Coffel) Addington. He is survived by his present wife, Mary (Steinebach) Addington of Tucson; two daughters, Julia Havens of Indianapolis, Indiana, Anne Sharp Addington of Tucson; four step-sons, Robert E. Steinebach, Jr. of Tucson, William A. Steinebach of Livingston, Texas, Russell G. Steinebach of Tucson and Ralph E. Steinebach of Portland, Oregon; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Burwell was graduated from Purdue University in 1933 and was a life-long fan of that school. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Purdue Alumni Association. He will be interred at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Penneville, Indiana. A Memorial Service will be held in the Community Center at Swan Lake Mobile Home Estates, 4550 N. Flowing Wells Rd., on Thursday, June 23, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in his name. BLOK, Pastor Martin, of Tucson, died June 17, 1994. Survived by wife, Ama of Tucson; daughters, Glenna of Penn Yan, NY, Rosemary Powers of Tucson, Pauline Campbell of Clarkston, MI; son, Martin Blok, Jr. of Allegan, MI; daughters, Linda Brian of Virginia Beach, VA and Susan Caroliessi of Kensington, CT. Pastor Blok was born December 26, 1901 in Holland, MI. He moved to Tucson in the early 70's. He was married to Ama Schlegel on March 10, 1975. He was a member of Emmanuel Church and a Pastor at church’s in Michigan for 62 years. Memorial Services will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church June 24, 1994 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Gale Trow officiating. Inurnment at Kendall Cemetery, Pine Grove Township in Michigan. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

Casimiro G. Bonillas, 78, of Tucson, passed away June 20, 1994. Survived by beloved wife, Josephine; daughters, Mary B. Fierros, Julie (Rene) Aragon, Dolores (Robert) Gomez, Olivia (Armando) Teyechea, Josie (Frank) Lopez, Yolanda (Bruce) Sellers, Connie (Albert) Lopez and Estella (Armando) Salgado; sisters, Carmelita B. Armenta and Connie C. Rivera; brothers, Antonio Bonillas and Pancho Maldonado; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; he is survived by many aunts and cousins that he dearly loved and cared for. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 1994 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, South Chapel, 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 8:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Thursday 10:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Mr. Bonillas was a native Tucsonan. DUPRAY, Thomas E., 45, of Tucson, died June 19, 1994. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Debra and his children, Christie and Michael; parents, Walter and Mary Dupray; brother, John (Cathrine) Dupray; sisters, Patricia (John) Kennedy, Elizabeth (Ronald) Wilson, Mary Kay (Thomas) Martin, Nancy (Kevin) Shanahan; and many nieces and nephews. Tom’s love for his family and life will be forever remembered in our hearts. A graduate of Xavier University class of 1971, Cincinnati, Ohio. Survived by his wife, Sherry Everett; children, Virginia, Russell and Mitchell Everett, all of Tucson; stepmother, Edulia Everett of Virginia and stepsister, Linda Roberts of FL. FINLAY, Margaret E. “Beth’, 86, of Benson, passed away June 20, 1994 in Tucson. Survived by husband, John; two sisters, Ruth Stevenson and Helen Johnson. Memorial Service Thursday, June 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church in Benson. Under the direction of RICHARDSON’S MORTUARY, Benson.

ALLERS, Dr. Olga, 82, of Colorado Springs, CO, died June 17, 1994. Survived by nieces, Gayle Pomper of FL, and Carol Bush of Colorado Springs, CO; nephew, Chuck Allers of CA; sister-in-law, Nelda Allers of Colorado Springs, CO. Dr. Allers was on the staff at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ and she practiced medicine in the Boston area. Cremation has taken place, no service. CARRICK, G. Rayner, 85, died Sunday, June 19, 1994. Survived by beloved wife, Dorothy of Tucson; and daughter, Nancy Carrick-Yates (Dwight Yates) of CA; granddaughters, Caitlin and Amy Yates. Survived by her daughter, Edna (James) Fegan of Tucson; son, Henry (Lottie) Klimek of MI; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edward Klimek of MI; sisters, Florence (August) Masters and Helen Mooney, both of CA; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grand and great-great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by husband Thomas Klimek and husband Charles Clark; sons Edward and Raymond Klimek and daughter Bernice Hander. Mass will be offered 9:30 a. m.
