DONALDSON, Evelyn J. Holfinger, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Troy, Ohio, died Sunday Morning, May 8, 1994 at Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Donaldson in 1980. She is survived by two sons, Richard E. Holfinger II of Troy, OH, Mark S. Holfinger of Tucson, AZ; and her sister, Mary Caroline Reichard of Troy, OH. Private arrangements are being handled by the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, in Tucson, AZ. HOWELL, Lawrence E., 78, of Tucson, made his transition on May 6, 1994. Survived by wife, Jeannine, Tucson; stepdaughters, Christi Powers, Maureen Powers, Jenny Powers-Watt (Richard), Kathleen Powers, all of Tucson, and Colleen Bodemuller (Robert) of Woodinville, WA; stepson, Michael Powers, Tucson; grandchildren, Lindsey Powers and Mariel Watt, Tucson, Benjamin and Rebecca Bodemuller, Woodinville, WA. Mr. Howell was S/Sgt. in the Army Air Corp during WWII, a survivor of the Bataan-Corregidor Death March and a POW in Japan for three and one-half years. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be dedicated to the Humane Society of Tucson. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at the Powers-Watt Home Sunday, May 15, 7416 N. Shirley Lane. Friends are welcome between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m.
LINKOUS, Georgia N., 78, died May 8, 1994. PERRY, Virginia P. “Polly’, passed away May 10, 1994 at St. Mary’s Hospice. She was a graduate of Laird Memorial Hospital, Montgomery, West Virginia and was a practicing registered nurse for many years in West Virginia and continued her nursing career after her move to Tucson. ROWE, Mary Helen, passed away on Mother’s Day, May 8, 1994. She is survived by her husband, Brigadier General Peter Rowe, Retired, USMC; children, Erin Richmond, Michael Rowe and Brendan Rowe; son-in-law, Robert Richmond; grandson, Hunter Richmond; mother, Emily Carrillo; and brother, James Carrillo. Mary Helen was a native of Tucson. She graduated from Salpointe High School in 1957 and the University of Arizona in 1962. Mary Helen spent the last 29 years of her life living around the world with her husband and family. A Memorial Liturgy will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 33926 Calle La Primavera, Dana Point, CA. Interment will be at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, Pt. WISEMAN, Dr. Orville Grant, Jr., 62, of Tucson, died Tuesday, May 10, 1994. Survived by his wife, Connie of Tucson; children, Orville Grant (Kristi) Wiseman III of OH; Melissa Beth Wiseman of TN; grandchildren, Emily Ann Wiseman; Grant Wiseman, both of OH; sister, Virginia Gayle (Robert) Kruft of CA. Dr. Wiseman graduated from Tucson High School in 1948 and received his D.V.M. from Ohio State University in 1956. He and his father founded Wiseman Animal Hospital in 1959, where he continually practiced until his retirement in December 1986. ACUNA, Robert Joseph, 22, of Tucson, died in a construction accident on June 21, 1994. He was born in Bisbee on March 7, 1972. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Madeline Acuna; his sister, Sandra, twin sister, Susan; and his girlfriend, Renee; grandparents, Florencio and Angelita Acuna and Pete and Marina Sherman of Bisbee; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. FISH, Murray E., 79, died Tuesday, June 21, 1994. He was a Tucson resident for 20 years. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He was a Veteran of WWII and served in N. Africa in the North-Atlantic. Murray was an avid tennis player and a volunteer at the VA Hospital for six years. Survived by sons, James M. Fish and Michael S.
