Emely LaVurne Blackford
Emely LaVurne Blackford, age 64, died Friday, January 7, 2005 in Cottonwood, Arizona.
She was born March 15, 1940 in Roswell, New Mexico, a daughter of William and Mary Taylor Hayes.
In 1956 Emely married Ronald Blackford in San Antonio, Texas.
She was a longtime resident of Williams, Arizona.
Emely attended Beauty School in Flagstaff and was a member of W.A.G.G.S. She was a longtime postal clerk for the U.S. Post Office.
She enjoyed painting, hiking, and river rafting.
Emely is survived by her son Bret Blackford of Bremerton, WA, her daughter Terry Ostler of Camp Verde, AZ, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, one neice and her brother Philip Hayes of Las Vegas, NV.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one grandchild.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church 127 W. Sherman Ave. Williams.
Hermelo “Melo” Sanchez
Hermelo “Melo” Sanchez, 84, of Flagstaff, died December 27, 2009.
He was born in Las Vegas, NM on August 3, 1925. Hermelo came to Flagstaff in the late 40’s where he worked 35+ years at Southwest Lumber. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II and served as the Post Quartermaster from 1963-2000 at the VFW Post 1709.
Hermelo is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years Doris Sanchez, his 3 daughters and 1 son Patty Martinez, Jackie Gloria Unale, Jenny Tapia and Michael Hermelo Sanchez, Jr., 3 stepchildren, 13 grandchildren 20 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Isabelle Sanchez in 1980.
We will miss our dad, grandfather and husband, we will always remember him and our hearts will always love him.
An Evening Vigil and Holy Rosary will be Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, 224 S. Kendrick, Flagstaff, AZ. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, followed by burial at Citizens Cemetery Veteran’s Section, 1300 S. San Francisco Street, Flagstaff, AZ

George Bernard Cramer
George Bernard Cramer, age 94, died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at Flagstaff Medical Center.
He was born October 10, 1910 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a son of Bernard Brierely and Gertrude Evelyn Brown Cramer.
George married Mary E. Perry on September 31, 1931 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She died March 25, 1995.
He was a longtime resident of Flagstaff.
George is survived by his daughter Ellie (Joe) Costa of Las Vegas, NV, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchild and his sister-in-law Maxine Cramer of California.
He is preceded in death by his wife, one son Eugene Cramer, one brother Chester J. Cramer, and one sister Edna M. Cramer.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Flagstaff Mortuary 2545 N. 4th Street. Interment will be at Citizens Cemetery.
Wilbur P. Inman
Wilbur P. Inman, beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 84, died Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Flagstaff Medical Center.
He was born April 7, 1920 in Call, Texas, a son of John W. and Lennie Gray Inman.
Wilbur married Hattie L. Canaga on August 2, 1945 in Flagstaff.
He served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Later he was an auto mechanic at Scotty’s Garage. Wilbur lived in Texas, New Mexico, and Williams, AZ. He was a life time member of the VFW. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and most of all his family. Wilbur collected John Wayne memorabilia, antiques and musical toys. He enjoyed decorating for Christmas, working in his garden and cooking. He loved the fried chicken at Pine Country Restaurant in Williams.
Wilbur is survived by his loving wife Hattie; his sons Gary Dale Inman of Chino Valley and Russell James Inman of Flagstaff; his daughters Peggy Lynn Barras of Williams, Penny Marie Orsini of Florida, Linda Sue Inman Morris of Payson, Brenda Lee Inman Adams of Williams, and Marjorie Kaye Allen of Ash Fork; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; his brother John Inman of Louisiana; and his sister Francis Pehl of Prescott Valley.
He is preceded in death by two sons, two grandchildren, one brother, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church 127 W. Sherman Ave. in Williams. A viewing will be held on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Williams City Cemetery.

Fernly Russell Harris
Fernly Russell Harris, age 65, died Monday, January 3, 2005 in Williams, Arizona.
He was born September 15, 1939 in Lake Providence, Louisiana, a son of John Rochford and Edna Earl Wilson Harris.
In 1983 Russell married Maureen Morgan in Tucson, AZ.
Prior to moving to Williams he lived in Jackson, MS, Houston, TX, and Tucson, AZ.
Russell at one time handled the fan relations for NASCAR Racing drivers Jeff Gordon and Rusty Wallace.
He was a Good Sam Life Member and a member of the Miniature Horse Association.
Russell loved boating, nature, RVing, animals, miniatures, and most of all his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Maureen Harris, his sons John R. (Jennifer) Harris and their son Drew of Tucson, Scott E. (Lacey) Harris and their son Jake and daughter Delaney of Monterey, CA and his sister Mary Edith Rose of Jackson, MS.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents Edna and John Harris.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church 127 W. Sherman Ave. in Williams.
