Gladine L. Hall, 93 died, Tuesday, June 23, 2009.
She was born September 20, 1915 in Bonne Terre, MO, to Richard and Mary Ann (Pettus) Rawson
Gladine’s husband Clement Henry Hall served in the south pacific in WWII in the US Navy. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Girl Scouts of America, Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council #201. Gladine was a loving mother, devoted wife; enjoyed traveling to visit family, absolutely loved the American West, Quilting, crocheting, sewing, knitting and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Dobbs (Bradley) of Springfield, OH; Mary Leach (James Dobson) of Springfield, OH, son; Raymond M. of Page, AZ; Clement H. (Michelle) of S. Jordan, UT, John of Springfield, OH, daughter-in-law Cindy Naprestek of Centerville, UT, 9 grandchildren Sasha Hall, Mike Heionimus (Kelly); Chuck Heironimus; Cheryl, Beth and Tim Leach; Lindsay and Matt Hall; Katherine Hall and 6 great-grandchildren; Halee, Lexi, Annalecia, Cody, and Kassie Heironimus; Layla Leach.
Gladine is preceded in death by her husband Clement Henry Hall, son Charles Richard, her parents, Richard Rawson and Mary Ann Pettus Rawson, brothers, Floyd, Lloyd and Lester, sisters Blanche, Rosie, Ava, Bertha.
A memorial Service will be held in Springfield, OH at a later date.
Manuel Araujo
Manuel Araujo, 26, died, Tuesday, June 30, 2009.
He was born July 23, 1982, in California.
Manny was a great husband, father, son, and friend, who loved to fishand hunt. He is loved by many and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Patrice Araujo, daughters Savannah and Kaycie Araujo, sons Manuel Araujo, Jr and Jacob Arauajo, parents Manuel and Serrena Araujo and Margarita Martinez.
Memorial Service will be Saturday July 4, 2009 at 11:00 am at Lozano’s Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86004
Ardyce Arlene Hartsell Ovren
Ardyce Arlene Hartsell Ovren, age 84, died Thursday, April 14, 2005 in Flagstaff, AZ.
She was born December 11, 1920 in Early, Iowa, daughter of Don Vernon and Lillie Treman Hartsell.
Ardyce married Herschel Ovren on December 24, 1947 in Spencer, Iowa.
Ardyce was baptized and confirmed at the First United Methodist Church in Marathon, a member of St. James Methodist Church in Tucson, Arizona, and a 55 year member and Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star.
She graduated from Marathon School in 1938, Boyles College in Omaha, Nebraska in 1942 and worked as a bookkeeper in Omaha for several years.
Ardyce lived in Marathon, Iowa moving to Tucson in 1963, where she was a real estate agent.
She is survived by daughters, Janice (Peter) Obligato of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Jeanine (Bill) Drake of Flagstaff, Arizona, five grandchildren, Michael and Jana Obligato, Lauri, Brian and Michael Drake, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ardyce is preceded in death by her husband, Herschel, brother, Willard Hartsell, and sister, Carolyn Krusen.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends, playing bridge, and bingo. Her positive attitude was an inspiration to all who knew her.
At her request no services are being held.
Interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona

Sarah Zonnie
Sarah Zonnie, age 99, died Sunday, April 03, 2005 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
She was born September 24, 1905 in Rat Springs, Arizona, daughter of Hat’akee A’dik’i and Mildred Billman.
Sarah married James Tohonnie in 1935 in Tonalea, Arizona.
She enjoyed weaving blankets, raising sheep and cattle and farming.
Sarah lived in the Tonalea area all her life.
She is survived by her daughter Zonnie Marie (Bahe) Wilson, seven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, one sister, and four grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 08, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. (MST) at Grace Brethren Fellowship Church in Tonalea, Arizona.
Burial will be at the Tonalea Cemetery.
Thomas Lee Dittbrenner
Thomas Lee Dittbrenner, age 62, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 in Munds Park, Az.
He was born July 30, 1941 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, son of Charles T. and Marion McAfee Dittbrenner.
Tom married Pamela Murray on October 8, 1988 in Arizona.
Tom was a member of the Kwanis and the Pinewood Fire Department Auxillary, a United States Navy Veteran.
While in Phoenix he volunteered at Good Samaritian Hospital, and was a volunteer of the year. He loved gardening, the Friday morning Breakfast Club (Liars Club), outdoors, friends and family, his dog buddie.
Tom is survived by his wife, Pam, son, Todd (Carol) Dittbrenner of Prescott Valley, AZ, Daughter, Wendy Dittbrenner of Prescott Valley, AZ, Five Grandchildren, Ali, Emma, Madisen, Jacob, and Adam, Brother, Bill (Betty) Dittbrenner of Mesa, AZ.
He is preceded in Death by his Parents.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 01, 2005, at 11:00 a.m.at Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to, Pinewood Fire Department, P.O.Box 18638, Munds Park, Arizona, 86017 for the children's burn camp of which Tom was an active volunteer in their fund raising.
Helen Lee Ammon
Helen Lee Ammon, 82, of flagstaff, AZ, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009.
She was born January 10, 1927 in Dayton, OH to Henry a Byron and Dora Mae (Humphrey) Byrd.
Helen had a strong, life long faith in God. She loved to play the piano, which she taught herself to play along with the guitar. She loved to sing in the church choir, was an expert at crochet and enjoyed anything to do with science fiction.
She is survived by her sons Carl Ammon, Jr., Michael Ammon, Bryan Ammon, Phillip (JoAnn) Ammon, sisters Beulah Munsee, Doris Abbott, Ruth Adams, Dora Tindall, brothers Samuel Byrd, Ronald Byrd, Tim Byrd, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband Carl G. Ammon, Sr., brother Daniel Byrd, brother David Byrd, and sister Naomi Byrd.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Linda Vista Chapel, 2401 E. Linda Vista, Flagstaff, AZ, interment to follow at Citizens Cemetery, 1300 S. San Francisco St., Flagstaff, AZ.
John T. Scroot
John T. Scroot, age 97, died peacefully Tuesday, March 29, 2005 in Flagstaff, AZ.
He was born September 02, 1907 in Mt. Iron, MN., a son of Matt Scroot and Sanna Joki.
He worked for several years as a steward and Chief Chef on vessels on the Great Lakes.
John met Marion in Duluth and they were married in Duluth November 27, 1943.
He was a Chief Chef at the Flame in Duluth. He retired from the University of MH (Duluth) where he served as Head Chef.
John was a loving husband and wonderful father who loved his family. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by them. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, was an avid hunter and was very active in Sacred Heart Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marion, of 61 years, daughter, Jean (Robert) Dahl of Flagstaff, AZ, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 1st, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth Street. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth, MN.
