Haward Cole
Haward Cole, 82, of Ash Fork, AZ died Monday, June 15, 2009.
He was born August 25, 1926 in Opp, Alabama to John and Peninsula (Thornton) Cole.
Haward serviced in the Navy during WWII and then servered in the Army and Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and working his land on his 1941 tractor.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Jeanette, daughters Debbie Murphy, Tammy (Brantley) Doering, sons; Henry (Lisa) Hayes and Troy Cole, sister Myrtle Jones, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Haward is preceded in death by his parents John and Sula Cole, brother Willis, and sisters Lodie and Trudy B.
Visition will be Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 6:00 pm at Lozano’s Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth St., Flagstaff, AZ. Graveside Servie will be Friday, June 19, 2009 at 11:00 am at Citizens Cemetery, veterans section. Veterans honors will be rendered by the, VFW #1709, Marine Corp League, Military Oder of the Purple Hearts, American Legion #3.

Clarence Tucker
Clarence Tucker, age 89, died Sunday, November 7, 2004 at Flagstaff Medical Center.
He was born December 14, 1914 in Cedar Ridge, Arizona, a son of John and Marie Atsitty Tucha.
Clarence served in the Air Force during WWII.
He loved talking about Air Force planes and enjoyed reading the newspaper.
Clarence is survived by his brother John Tucker, his sisters Lula Mae Holiday and Della George.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Lily Tucha, Pansy Tucha, Rose Tucha John and Betty May Tucha Jean.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Hidden Springs Bible Church. Interment will follow at Hidden Springs Family Plot.
Dennis Albert Didion
Dennis Albert Didion passed away on June 23, 2009 at Olivia White Hospice Home after a long illness.
He was born August 5, 1956 in Phoenix, AZ.
Dennis, an avid outdoorsman, was a lifelong Arizona resident. He lived in the Flagstaff area since 1958. He was a 1974 graduate of Flagstaff High School and retired as a letter carrier with the US Postal Service earlier this year.
He is survived by his sister Debra Cresson (Bruce) of Camp Verde, AZ, brothers Larry Didion (Suanne) of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Ronald Plumb (Vicki) of Glendale, AZ and his dog Jake.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Elizabeth (Walter) Didion.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10:00 am at Lozano’s Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth St., Flagstaff, AZ.

Dorothy Alice Howe
Dorothy Alice Howe, age 81, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Flagstaff Medical Center.
She was born November 24, 1922 in Watertown, New York, a daughter of Charles Orly and Lillian Frances Fitzgerald Timlick.
Dorothy married Harold Edward Howe in 1939 in Watertown, New York.
She lived in Yuma, Spring Valley, Parks, and most recently in Williams, Arizona for the past 40 years.
Dorothy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.
She loved her family.
Dorothy is survived by her sons Robert (Nancy) Howe of Williams and Jeffrey Howe of Yuma; her daughters Billie (Mike) McDaniel of Yuma, Deanna (Richard) Shaw of Yuma and Barbara Howe of Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren; her brothers Gary Timlick and Robert Timlick both of San Jose, CA; and her sister Marianne Lechuga of Lawndale, CA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her son Raymond Howe, one brother and one sister.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Dr. Guillermo Alejandro Gravier
Dr. Guillermo Alejandro Gravier born in Santiago de las Vegas, Cuba died on October 26th, in Sedona, AZ.
After earning his Doctorate in Law at the University of Havan Law School and practicing Civil Law in Havana, Guillermo emigrated to the US escaping communism.
Later on Dr. Gravier completed his Masters Degree in Spanish at the State University of Durango, Mexico and taught Spanish in California for twenty-three years.
While in California he was a reader for the Spanish Mass for twelve years at Sacred Heart Church.
Ten years ago Guillermo and his wife moved to Flagstaff where they had often vacationed.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Saturday, October 29, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery 43 S. San Francisco St.
Barbara Sohner-Gain
December 23, 1947 – July 29, 2009
Barbara Gain died at age 61 in Williams Arizona after a long battle with health issues. Barbara grew up in the South Bay and graduated from South Torrance High School. After living in the South Bay for almost 40 years she pack up and moved to Williams Arizona, where she spent the remainder of her life. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived life to the fullest when she was in good health.
Barbara is survived by her husband Fred, daughter Jeri Fernandez, two step sons Steven and Robert Gain. She also had 8 grandchildren who she loved very much.
No services will be held. Please keep Barbara and her family in your prayers.
Essie Lorine Meza
Essie Lorine Meza, 93, died, Friday August 7, 2009.
She was born in Texas December 10, 1915.
Essie worked for El Rancho Market as a meat wrapper and Food Services at NAU.
She is survived by 2 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
Essie is preceded in death by her husband Louis Meza, Maurine King, Gary Lockey, Audrey Waldrop.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Lozano’s Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Interment will be held Monday August 17th at 1:00 p.m. at Green Acreas Cemetery 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ.
