Ronald D. Fabbri
1929 - 2011
Ronald D. Fabbri, of Clarkdale, Arizona, died April 8, 2011. He was born July 25, 1929 in Bantam, Connecticut. He was the son of Jack and Anita Fabbri.
Ron joined the Army at the age of 17 and served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He retired from the Army as a CWO3 in 1971. He then worked for Bank of America and retired in 1991.
Ron was an avid golfer and was a member of the Redlands Country Club, in Redlands, CA. He was also an active member of the Rotary Club. He enjoyed travel, especially trips to Italy, to reconnect with distant family.
Ron is preceded in death by his second wife, Colleen Moore Fabbri; two sisters, Angelina Strada and Fostina Evangelisti; his brother Michael Fabbri; and his infant son Richard David Fabbri. He is survived by his first wife, Arlene Fabbri of Richmond, ME; three daughters, Patrina Curtis (Kevin) of Anchorage, AK, Nadine Liddle (Bruce) of New Zealand, and Dana Pearcy (Matt) of Clarkdale, AZ; two grandchildren, Patrick Curtis (Jazz) and Sarah Curtis, both of Anchorage, AK.
A visitation will be held on April 20 at Westcott Funeral Home, in Cottonwood, Arizona from 5 – 7pm. Burial services will be held on May 11 at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. Donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Terry Cook
1951 - 2010
Terry Cook, 58, of Camp Verde, passed away April 13, 2010. She was born August 29, 1951, in Harrisburg, Penn. She was a 25-year resident of Camp Verde.
She worked is restaurant management as was last employed as assistant manager of the Camp Verde Dairy Queen. Terry enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Terry is survived by her husband Bruce Spaulding, son Jake, enlisted in the United States Army stationed in Alaska, brother Scott Pierce and sister Kimberly Greenway.
Private family services will be held.

Alena Ann Angel
1964 - 2011
Alena Ann Angel was born on January 4, 1964 in El Paso, TX the only child of Walter and Foustena Seligh. She was a photographer, cook, pianist and beloved mother of two young daughters. She passed on April 28, 2011 after a prolonged battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 12th at 2PM at the Camp Verde Senior Center for all who would like to attend.
Jacob Brode
Jacob Thomas Brode, 28, of Flagstaff, died March 21, 2009. He was born April 29, 1980, in Murrysville, Penn.
While growing up he was involved in baseball, wrestling and soccer. He graduated from Franklyn Regional High Schoolin Murrysville, Penn., afterward attending and graduating from Penn State. He enjoyed his job as assistant superintendent at Forest Highlands. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, nature and the outdoors. Mr. Brode is survived by his wife, Brandy; his parents, Daniel and Carol Brode; his stepchildren, Cody, Brendon and Brittany; his sisters, Tawnya and Betsy; and his brother, Justin.
A memorial service will be Thursday, at 10 a.m., at the Forest Highlands Clubhouse.

Cooper Johnny
Cooper Ryne Johnny, infant, of Flagstaff, died suddenly Friday, April 3, 2009.
He was born Jan. 6, 2009, of the T'achii'nii Noodela'i dine'e Red extended into the water-Ute people for the Tsi'naajinii Dark streak of wood clan. His cheei is T'achii'nii Red extends into the water clan. His Nali is Ashii'hii Salt Clan. He was a happy little boy with bright shining eyes, a crooked smile and lots of dark soft hair. He touched so many hearts and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Buffy Shirley and Bryan Johnny; maternal grandparents Rita Lee and Kenneth Shirley; paternal grandparents Diana Dechilly and Steven Milford; Mamma Aunt Dr. Konstance Shirley; maternal great-grandparents Eva and Albert Lee, and Chee A. Begay; paternal great-grandma Sallie Johnny; and a number of extended family members.
He was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary Alice Begay, Dan Shirley and Vernon Begay; paternal grandpa Earl Johnny; and maternal uncle Sgt. Lee Duane Todacheene.
A service will be today at 10 a.m. DST at St. Isabell Catholic Church in Lukachukai. Burial will follow. Condolences can be sent to this family at www.norvelowensmortuary.com.

Edward Orozco
Edward Joseph "Pino" Orozco, 39, died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Orozco was born on Dec. 5, 1969, at Winslow Memorial Hospital. He began his grade school education at Bonnie Brennan and Thomas Jefferson School. During junior high school, he successfully completed all the accelerated classes with relative ease. He was a member of student council and was inducted into the Honor Society, then graduated with honors in 1983. As a student at Winslow High School, he was active in football and baseball until an "old" little league injury reappeared and he was unable to participate in contact sports. He remained with the teams as manager, where he "lettered" in all sports. He was a member of student council, was selected as a Boys State Representative, a member of the Decathlon Team both years, and inducted into National Honor Society his junior year. His senior year, he was a member of the golf team and was elected as student body president for the 1986-1987 school year by his peers. He graduated with honors in the top 10 percent of his class.
Mr. Orozco attended Northern Arizona University, where he excelled until he graduated in 1992 attaining a bachelor's degree in accounting. He worked at the Fairfield Country Club during his college years, remaining loyal by moving in the accounting office. He relocated back home, for health reasons, after being hired in the finance department for the City of Winslow, where he was employed as senior accountant until his death.
Survivors include his parents, Keith and Ramona Nelson; stepsisters Belinda (Duane) Ahasteen, Kathie (John) Chino and Toni Nelson (Darrell); his uncle, Edward Saucedo, of Winslow; aunts Theresa (Andrew) Cabacungan, Patricia (Woodro) Rankens, Cecelia (Archie) Sanchez of California, Frances Orozco of Las Vegas and Charlotte Orozco of Winslow; one great-uncle; and several cousins, friends and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Orozco, Sr.; grandparents Cecilio and Della Saucedo, and Tony and Rose Orozco; uncle Tony Orozco Jr.; and his brother, Gabriel Anthony Orozco.
Holy Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Madre De Dios Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the same location with celebrant Father Frank Chacon. There will be a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. at Greer's Mortuary Chapel. Interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery.

Victoria Almendarez
Victoria "Vickie" Almendarez, 64, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, in Flagstaff.
She was born May 30, 1944, in Baird, N.M. to Abran and Conrada (Tafoya) Lucero. She loved being around family and friends, laughing, joking, family outings and traveling.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane, Joanne, Lisa and Angie; son Raymond; sisters Louisa Dean and Rita Lucero; brother Macedon Lucero; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Almendarez, parents Abran and Conrada Lucero, and brother Phil Lucero.
Evening vigil and holy Rosary will be today, March 31, at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, 224 Kendrick. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 1, at noon at Our Lady Guadalupe Chapel, followed by interment at Citizens Veterans Section.

Maurice Haglin
Maurice C. "Moe" Haglin, 79, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in Flagstaff.
Mr. Haglin was born July 14, 1929, in Hibbing, Minn., to Fritz and Rose Haglin. In 1955, he married Eleanor Ohme. The couple moved to Arizona in 1956 and to Flagstaff in 1958. Mr. Maglin was a wholesale hardware salesman for 44 years, serving northern Arizona. He served in the U.S. Army. He was an amazing man and he never met a stranger. He loved is family, especially his five grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Mr. Haglin is survived by his wife, Eleanor; children Nancy Clark (Rich), Dale Haglin (Beth) and Gail Gautier (Matt); and five grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Northland Hospice or Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

John Trujillo
John Trujillo, 61, died Friday, April 10, 2009.
Mr. Trujillo was born on April 16, 1947, in Holbrook, to Jeff and Lois Trujillo. He is survived by his father, Jeff; sister Kathleen; six nieces; three great-nephews; and five great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Federica and Everett; paternal grandparents Remigio and Aileen; his mother Lois; his brothers Mike and Pat; his uncle, Joe; and many other relatives.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Greer's Mortuary Chapel.
