Suzanne Dorothy Hargrove, 63, of Cornville, Arizona died July 17, 2011.
She was born June 12 in Temple, Texas, the daughter of Beal and Dorothy Hargrove. She was a poet and avid gardener, sharing her creative spirit with many. She is survived by her daughter, Natasha Shealy of Cornville, AZ.

Rev. David Mervyn Lockyer

Memorial Services for Rev. David Mervyn Lockyer and his wife of forty five years, Eleanor Laura Lockyer, will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, 11 a.m., at the Palmer Community Center, Rainbow Acres Campus, 2120 Reservation Loop Road, Camp Verde.
Rev. Lockyer was born Oct. 12, 1924 and went home to be with Lord, July 27, 2011, in Camp Verde, Arizona.
Mrs. Lockyer was born Oct. 20, 1928, and went home to be with Lord July 30, 2011.

Joy Jiron

Joy Elaine Savage Jiron, born December 12th, 1950, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 20th, 2011.
Joy is survived by her husband Euracio (Lasso), son: Guy Savage and Soledad, daughter: Jo Emma Largo and Lucky, two sisters: Carolyn Webb and twin sister Jo Savage, two brothers: Pete Savage and Jud Savage, five grandsons: Brandon, Stephen, Mathew, Taylor and Mario, granddaughters: Lupe and Joy’s precious Marissa. Also her extended family, the Jiron’s including her stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services to be held at: Church of the Nazarene, 3505 Soliere, Flagstaff, Arizona, July 30 at 10:30 a.m. with reception to follow.

Kandy Ann Begay
Funeral Services for Kandy Ann Begay, 32, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Winslow Stake Center, Winslow, AZ. Interment to follow in Desert View Cemetery, Winslow, AZ.
Kandy Begay passed away on April 25, 2010 in Holbrook, AZ. She was born on February 26, 1978 in Keams Canyon, AZ. Kandy graduated from Holbrook High School in 1997 and then went to Phoenix Job Corp Center graduating in 2001. She was employed by Coconino Community College as an Administrative Assistant. She loved to be with family, friends and going to NASCAR races.
She is survived by her husband, Antonio Begay; daughters, Kamby Rarisha Kelly & Nialmoni Samlah Begay; parents, Frank & Verna Kelly; grandma, Eva Jenson Clark; sisters, Virginia Russell & Francine Kelly; brothers, Franco Kelly & Frank Kelly, Jr.; granddaughter, Joyce Smith.
Preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Helen Kelly; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Kelly; great-grandmother, Mary R. Clay.
Linda Addington
1947 - 2011
Linda Addington, 64, of Cottonwood, died June 30, 2011.
She was born March 18, 1947 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of William and Victoria Moore.
She was a graduate of Sunnyslope High School. Linda was employed as a healthcare worker and had been named employee of the month at Kachina Point Healthcare. She served as a senior regent at the Moose Lodge. Linda was a member of the Crestview Baptist Church.
Her hobbies included crocheting and sewing, camping and fishing and enjoyed the outdoors and loved her family.
Linda is survived by her husband of 35 years Wayne “Tiny”; a son James Addington; daughters Leslie Myers (Todd) of Mesa, Marla Hardy of Missouri, Susan Leach (David) of Scottsdale and Carrie Duffel (Joe) of Phoenix; her mother Victoria Mestas; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.

Kurtis "Kurt" Hasten
Memorial Services for Kurtis "Kurt" Hasten, 43, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, 411 N. Warren Ave., Winslow, AZ.
Kurt passed away on April 12, 2010 in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born on October 08, 1966 in Winslow, AZ.
Kurt graduated from Winslow High School Class of 1984 he then went on to Glendale Community College graduating there. He worked for BNSF as an Engineer for the last 15 years being a Fourth generation railroader.
Kurt is survived by his wife "Deb"; two step-daughters Amanda and Amy Jones, parents Richard & Sharon Hasten, sister Kelly Ahrens (Jim); nephew & niece, Brent& Ashleigh and adopted nephew, Cody Wienand; father and mother-in-law, Billy & Lucille; brother-in-law; Ricky (Colleen).
In Lieu of Flowers a Memorial Fund has been set up at the Wells Fargo Bank of Winslow.
He Lived, He Laughed and He Loved with all of His Heart.
Clarence Allen Turner
1921 - 2011
Clarence Allen Turner passed away on July 21, 2011 at his home in Cottonwood, AZ. He was known by millions as the Greatest Untouchable, and the Photographer of the Stars.
Cal was born in August 15, 1921 in Glendale California, and rose to be one of the top cops of the 20th Century. His contributions to our Americana Life was chronicled in two books written by his wife of 67 years, Mary Turner.
Cal graduated with a BSC degree form Southwestern University in 1950, and spent the next twenty years in the service to his country as a Special Agent to the Internal Revenue Service. He rose through the ranks and retired in 1970 as division head to the Los Angles, California Organized Crime Division.
His exploits were the subject of the second book by his beloved wife, Mary, “The Untouchable’s Wife, ” published and released just before his death.
Cal’s natural ability to capture the visual world in which we live led to his first love, photography. Studying under Ansel Adams, he further developed his skills after retirement by opening his own studio in Palms Springs, California in the 1970’s. Here he met and photographed the greatest stars of all times, including Frank Sinatra and Ginger Rogers. By now, he was known as, the Photographer of the Stars, and was the subject of Mary Turner’s first book, “The Beautiful People of Palm Springs”.
His legacy still lives on within the Verde Valley, where he and Mary resided for over 31 years.
Cal partnered with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office to lead the Volunteers In Patrol program after his full retirement in 1980. He continued his volunteer work with the formation of the Verde Valley Radio Amateurs Association Network, and was often heard over his Two-Meter repeaters throughout all Arizona as, Wi6S. He was highlighted in many radio amateur meets and magazine articles about his innovative leaderships during community emergencies throughout the valley.
Clarence Allen Turner was preceded in death by his parents Cledis and Florence Turner, of Glendale, California.
Cal is survived by his wife Mary Louise Turner, of Cottonwood, AZ and one son, Allen Michael Turner of San Francisco, California.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Aug. 15, 2 p.m. At the Cottonwood Village, 201 E. Mingus Ave Cottonwood, AZ 86326, 1-800-470-7979. Flowers are welcome at that time.
Troy Donahue
1928 - 2011
Troy Donahue lived in Camp Verde, AZ for 10 years.
He passed away in Camp Verde on July 21, 2011.
He was born in Higden, Arkansas October 7, 1928.
He was a professional photographer in California for 40 years, primarily in the San Jose area.
He enlisted in the Army in the late 1940’s, and was honorably discharged in 1952.
He is survived by his wife Glenda Donahue, his children Troy Donahue Jr., Avona Preston, Jeanne Kashner, Roland Donahue, Brenda Hawley, and Victor Donahue, plus 15 grand children and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Donahue, his father James Donahue, his mother Ruby Estes, his brothers James Donahue and Victor Donahue and sister Violet Fisher.
He attended the Church Of Christ in Camp Verde AZ.
