Faith Sones
Faith Elizabeth Sones, 73, died Friday, Dec. 12, 1997, at her home in Chino Valley.
She was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Cherokee County, Iowa, to Leonard and Erma (Lickiss) McCannon. She moved to Chino Valley from Yucca Valley, Calif., in July of this year.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Chino Valley, the American Legion Auxiliary in Gardena, Calif., the Emblem Club in Yucca Valley, Calif., and the Geneology Society in Morongo Basin, Calif.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Morris of Chino Valley, Deann Joyce of Rowland Heights, Calif., and Denice Sones of Norco, Calif.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in California.

Elsie Solomon
Elsie May Solomon, 88, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at the Tucson Medical Center.
She was born March 9, 1909, in Panama, to Francis Joseph Norton and Elsie (Langenbach) Norton. She was the wife of Henry Solomon of San Francisco, Calif., and Prescott, who preceded her in death. She was also the mother of Elly Mickola and Marlene Adams.
She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her creative talents and her love for the arts.
Survivors include five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Beatrice Moser
Beatrice M. Moser, 85, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at Prescott Valley Samaritan Village.
She was born June 16, 1912, in Walnut, Miss., to Elijah and Florence Malone. She moved to Phoenix from Grand Rapids, Mich. In 1964, and to Prescott Valley in 1990.
Mrs. Moser managed the floral department for Smitty's Grocery in Scottsdale for many years. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Prescott Valley and had been a founding member of Robert Road Baptist Church, also in Prescott Valley. She taught Sunday School, both adults and children, for 30 years. She and her husband, Hal, were always active members of their church, and enjoyed working on mission projects.
Mrs. Moser put her artistic talent to use with her crafts and crocheting. All her children have things she made for them. She is the last of her brothers and sisters; she was the seventh daughter of seven, and also had three brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Hal; daughters, Joyce Rockrich of Prescott Valley, and Ann Steffen of Mesa; sons, Chuck Deen of Gilbert, and Joseph Moser of Butler, N.J.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Moser's life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez, with visitation one hour prior to service.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale.

William Williams
William T. Williams, 81, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at Mountain View Manor in Prescott.
He was born March 16, 1916, in River Falls, Wis., to William James Williams and Nellie Mae Walker. He moved to Wickenburg from Wisconsin in 1978, and to Prescott Valley in 1983.
Mr. Williams was known affectionately as "Bill." He was an artificial inseminator of cattle while in Wisconsin, and received the "750, 000 Cattle Insemination Award." He also worked as a security guard for Tri-Star Security in Prescott. He was a man of many talents.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Rosemary Joanna of Northern California; daughters, Elaine Williams of Northern California, Delores Williams of Southern California, and Marguerite Williams of Portland, Ore.; sons, Tom of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Robert of Prescott Valley. He was preceded in death by sons William G. and Marcus.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Science of Mind Center, 3013 N. Highway 89.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Northern Arizona Alzheimer's Association, 225 Grove Ave., Prescott, AZ 86301.

Arthur Grace
Arthur Kirby Grace, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, in Prescott.
He was born Aug. 1, 1922, in Hazard, Ky., to Timothy and Frances (Kirby) Grace.
Mr. Grace served in the European Theater in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was awarded the Air Medal with five oak leaf clusters, the Purple Heart, and was a prisoner of war in Germany, having been shot down over Italy in 1944.
He married Shirley Andrews on Aug. 12, 1950. He was a member of the VFW and the La Jolla, Calif., Masonic Lodge #518.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; daughter, Debra L. Walter of San Diego, Calif.; son, Timothy of Cypress, Calif.; brother, Eugene of San Marino, Calif.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in a national cemetery in Riverside, Calif.

John McKee
John Arthur McKee, 71, of Prescott Valley, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, in Phoenix.
He was born Oct. 8, 1926, in Madison, Wis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. McKee lived in Arizona 38 years. He was employed by the Paradise Valley School District as a groundskeeper.
Survivors include sons John Jr., Claude, and Terry; daughters Regina Robbins and Cheryl Faris; brothers Richard and Maurice; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, in Mesa.

Monte Morrison
Monte E. Morrison, 77, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Carthage, Mo., to Monte E. and Katherine (Bowles) Scott. She moved to Prescott from Paradise, Calif., in 1984.
Mrs. Morrison grew up in Greenfield, Mo., and kept in contact with her childhood friends there. She moved to Palo Alto, Calif., when she was a senior in high school. After the death of her first husband of 43 years, Floyd Lee Miller, she married her high school sweetheart when they found each other again in 1985. She loved to travel in her recreational vehicle.
Survivors include her husband, William; daughters, Candace Lawson of San Rafael, Calif., and Karla Jackson of Seattle, Wash.; sons, Greg Miller of Magalia, Calif., Scott Miller of Ukiah, Calif. and Doug Miller of Scappose, Ore.; step-daughter, Betty Stenzel of Vacaville, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Morrison's life will be held at 3 p.m. today at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., with the Rev. John Davis officiating.
Concluding services and interment will be at the Alta Mira Cemetery in Palo Alto, Calif.
