Marion Hahn
Marion R. Hahn, 80, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at Prescott Samaritan Village.
She was born April 17, 1917, in Detroit, Mich., to Peter and Cora (Snaak) Kuipers. She moved to Prescott from Doland, S.D., in 1993.
Mrs. Hahn was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church in Doland, S.D. The sanctuary of the church was graced for over 25 years by her lovely flower arrangements. She was a homemaker and mother in the truest sense. She beautified her home with her presence, as well as with the flowers grown in her garden.
She and her husband spent many hours bird watching and identifying the many species that live in South Dakota. She was proudest of her family.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Howard; sons, Frank of Prescott and Darrel of Spearfish, S.D.; daughter, Nancy of Omaha, Neb.; sister, Angie Mackey of Mitchell, S.D.; brother, John Kuipers of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Doland, S.D., with the Rev. Margaret DeMaris officiating.
Burial will be in the family plot at Doland Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Doland Cemetery Association, Doland, SD 57536.

Peggy Ober
Peggy Ober, 92, formerly of Prescott, died Saturday, Nov. 1, at her home in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was born April 23, 1905, in Tennessee, to Marsh and Lorena (Tidwell) Welch.
She was a Bell Telephone retiree.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Weidman; five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.

John Meadors
John B. Meadors, 77, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Prescott.
He was born Oct. 17, 1920, in Lovelady, Texas, to Paul and Verna (James) Meadors.
He moved to Prescott 10 years ago from California. He was a retired grocer and a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his son, Thomas, of Spring, Texas.
Interment will be in Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.

Edward Kumler
Edward W. Kumler, 59, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 1, 1938, in Anderson, Ind., to Joseph and Leah (Keel) Kumler.
Mr. Kumler was a salesman in the photography industry for many years. He moved to Arizona from Ohio 21 years ago, and resided in Prescott Valley for the past 13 years. He married Christina Stevenson on April 28, 1977, in Phoenix.
Survivors include his wife, Christina, of Prescott Valley; sons, Keith of Aber, N.M., and Dan of Wilhoit; daughters, Ericka Kumler and Kim Jenkins, both of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Phillis Kumler of New York; and one grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley, with Dr. Michael Moxness officiating.

Paul Perry
Paul J. Perry, 67, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 16, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., to Jack and Helen (Broderick) Perry.
Mr. Perry married Helene Suzan Shoemaker on Oct. 3, 1953, in Kenilworth, Ill. They moved to London, England, and owned and operated a bed and breakfast from 1972 until his retirement in 1984. They moved to Prescott five years ago from England.
Mr. Perry served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Sue of Prescott; son, Jon, of London, England; daughter, Helene Jessup, of Cowley Uxbridge, England; and three grandchildren.
A celebration of Mr. Perry's life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Prescott Canyon Estates clubhouse on Highway 69 in Prescott.

Gertrude Hobbs
Gertrude Rosalie Hobbs, 87, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, in Prescott Valley.
She was born Jan. 15, 1910, in Chicora, Pa.
Mrs. Hobbs worked for the Kellogg's Cereal Co. for 46 years as an office manager. She moved to Prescott four years ago from California.
Survivors include her son, William, of Prescott; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held.

Eppie Badilla
Eppie T. Badilla, 76, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Mountain View Manor in Prescott.
She was born Dec. 29, 1920, in Winslow, to Juan and Cruz (Peralta) Torres. She lived in Arizona all of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Jesus, of Chino Valley; sons, Joe, of Tucson, and George, of Bagdad; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prescott, with Fr. Frank Pyka, C.M.F., officiating. Burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott will follow the Mass.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Badilla's name may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave., Prescott, AZ 86301.

A memorial service for Judi Ann Loomis will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive. There will be a reception in the church parlor immediately following the service.
