Robert Thorpe
Robert G. Thorpe, 77, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997, at Prescott Samaritan Village.
He was born Jan. 29, 1920, in Rochester, N.Y., to Sydney C. And Mabel B. (Smith) Thorpe. He moved to Prescott from Sylmar, Calif., in May 1989.
Mr. Thorpe graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He retired as a mechanical engineer in 1976 from Lockheed Aircraft, where he had been employed for 20 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He and his wife, Ruth, attended Trinity Presbyterian Church in Prescott. He enjoyed playing golf and chess and listening to piano music.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, who he married on May 13, 1956; daughter, Mary Alice Smith of Jenks, Okla.; sister, Delores Standing of Brockport, N.Y.; two grandchildren and a niece.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Prescott Samaritan Village Chapel, 1030 Scott Drive, with Dr. Bruce Humphrey, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, officiating.
The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 915 W. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ 86301.

Evelyn Lewis
Evelyn Marie Lewis, 65, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 1, 1932, in Winslow, to Isaac and Mable (Edwards) Lewis.
She was a manager for the Industrial Laundry in Phoenix for many years before retiring in 1973. She moved to Prescott Valley three years ago.
Survivors include sisters Helen Stone and Alice Rawnsley, both of Prescott Valley, and brother, Leonard Lewis of Phoenix.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Redwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dewey, with the Rev. James Gambrell officiating.

Louise Hisey
Louise Rose Hisey, 92, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, at her Mi Casa residence.
She was born Aug. 23, 1905, in Riverside, Calif., to Edwin and Margaret (Mason) Rose.
Mrs. Hisey was a charming and vivacious wife, mother and good friend, possessing many talents.
Survivors include her husband, Lehmann of Prescott Valley; daughter, Liz Kalber of Wellesley, Mass.; sister, Esther Schaeffer of Sarasota, Fla.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kachina Point Retirement Village, second floor, 405 Jacks Canyon Road, Village of Oak Creek.

Steven Johnson
Steven L. Johnson, 48, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, in Flagstaff, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born Oct. 16, 1949, in Great Falls, Mont., to the Rev. And Mrs. Leon Johnson.
He graduated from Chinook, Mont., High School in 1967, joined the Navy for four years and became a dental technician. Cross-country truck driving for Lester Trucking Co. of Iowa was his favorite job.
Mr. Johnson was employed by Earth Products, Inc. in Prescott Valley at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Susan, of Prescott Valley; daughter, Sarah of Sacramento, Calif.; parents, Shirley and Leon of Dutton, Mont.; brothers, Bruce of Great Falls, Mont., and Glenn of Billings, Mont.; and sister, Carolyn Dowdy of Great Falls, Mont.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Chason; and a sister, Janis.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dutton United Methodist Church in Dutton, Mont. Cremation has taken place and burial of his remains will be in the Dutton Cemetery.

John Lovell
John Herbert Lovell, 86, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Prescott Valley Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Prescott Valley Christian Church.

John Herbert Lovell, 86, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at a local nursing home.
He was born Jan. 20, 1911, in Tonawanda, N.Y., to Joseph and Albertine (Pieper) Lovell.
Mr. Lovell worked as a timekeeper and cost clerk for Remington Rand Electronics for many years. He moved to Prescott Valley from New York. He married Esther Thompson on Aug. 21, 1993, in Prescott Valley.
He was a member of the Prescott Valley Christian Church and also the Elks Lodge and the Masonic Lodge F & AM.
Survivors include his wife, Esther of Prescott Valley; daughter, Frances Glass, also of Prescott Valley; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held.

Charles Senechal
Charles Joseph Senechal, 83, a resident of Prescott for over four years, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, in Prescott.
He was born Dec. 26, 1913, in Breezy Hill, Kan., to Alfred and Madeline (Popich) Senechal.
Mr. Senechal was with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, with over 50 years of credentialed pastoral and teaching evangelism ministries in 28 states and 18 foreign countries. He ministered to adults and youth alike in churches, camps and Bible schools.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Irene, of Prescott; daughters, Janene Bentley of Chino Valley, and Sharlene Wiley of Rustburg, Va.; brother, Alfred of Riverside, Calif.; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, at Memory Chapel Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., with Pastor Stephen Harris officiating. A one-hour visitation will precede the service.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.

Barbara O'Halloran
Barbara C. O'Halloran, 69, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at her home in Florence, Ore.
She was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Boston, Mass., to Frederick and Helen Mahoney. She married Thomas J. O'Halloran on June 17, 1950.
Mrs. O'Halloran lived with her husband and children in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Kansas.. She moved to Prescott in 1982, after her husband's retirement, where she was active in Sacred Heart Church and community activities.
She moved to Florence, Ore. In 1994, where she was an active member of the St. Mary's Our Lady of the Dunes Catholic Church, and involved in various church and community organizations.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas of Florence, Ore.; sons, Frederick of Gladstone, Mo., Robert of Olathe, Kan., Richard of Naperville, Ill., and Gregory of Olathe, Kan.; daughter, Lois Mary O'Halloran of Portland, Ore.; sister, Ursula of Kansas City, Mo.; and 13 grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass was held at St. Mary's Our Lady of the Dunes Catholic Church in Florence, Ore., on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
